I would always crave a bagel or sandwich from here. I loved it for a while and slowly they always kept messing up my orders. I would call ahead and customize my sub and ask for it to be toasted. Any add ons I would request and repeat to them if needed. The last couple of times I have ordered my sub and it has been HORRIBLE. I understand that certain orders can be more annoying than others but I don't mind waiting longer if it means my order will be made correctly. The last time I went, we called in and ordered. The wait time wasn't a big deal to us at all. I go pay for my order and we were all so hungry/excited about our food. I see that my sub was made incorrectly AGAIN and that there was no cheese. I was very nervous to go back but I did considering how much you pay for one sub. The man took off at least 3/4 of my meat and put my cheese on my sub. A good chunk of the protein had been taken away from the sub. That angered me but I didn't have the energy to go back there again. I guess he thought a free pickle would make me feel better so he included that too. I was very upset, to say the least. I was becoming a regular and loved the deli! Some of the workers either don't want to listen to special requests or just don't know how to make the order correctly. Their food is a hit or miss now. I have worked in foodservice and I know how hectic it can be when there are multiple orders on the board. You can't just keep on messing up someone's order on a weekly basis. Especially if they are regulars! I don't plan on going back there for a while sadly. I don't think they will ever actually care enough to get my very simple modifications done correctly. read more

Wyckoff Deli has been a staple for us since we moved to town two years ago, and I truly can't say enough about this fantastic place. The staff here is beyond friendly--every visit is met with warm smiles and a phenomenal sense of humor that makes each stop a pleasure. They know how to brighten anyone's day! The quality of the food is consistently top-notch, and we have so many favorites. Their chicken and rice soup is comforting and full of flavor, the buffalo chicken wraps are just the right mix of spicy and savory, and their Reese's cookies are a sweet indulgence we can't resist. The deli case is packed with daily specials that keep things interesting, and there's always something new to try. A quick note on parking--the lot can get a little hectic, especially around noon with other businesses nearby. If you're visiting around lunchtime, I'd recommend parking in the back and entering through the kitchen. It might sound a bit unconventional, but trust me, it's an experience you won't forget! Came here for a graduation dinner (1 years ago, only writing the review now), and had really fantastic service. Despite being a party of 2, they gave us one of the nicer booths and plenty of seating space. The food itself was not the best I've had (maybe on the more oily side), but it was still really good. Further, the service more than made up for any potential deficiencies. They also gave us a complimentary fruit bouquet for dessert that was the perfect way to balance out all the heavier food.
