This is the epitome of what an amazing deli should be. They have been there forever and with the quality of the food you can see why. For warned it's not cheap however you get what you pay for. Let me start by saying the menu is huge for a deli, and when you walk in you realize most of the stuff is not even on the menu they literally carry something for everyone. And they are amazingly kind. I was talking to the gentleman who worked there who is making my sandwich and I was buying my mom some soup because she's in hospice on in the hospital . Once the gentleman heard that my mom was in the hospital, he began to fill the bag with a ton of crackers for her to go along with her soup I just thought that was so sweet and kind. So good. I always get it and Italian hero and it never disappoints. I got the tomato soup once and it was out of this world. The Cole slaw is very good and so is the macaroni salad. Went to the Wyckoff Delicatessen as I was working up that area. I got a roast beef and cheese sandwich. I was very impressed with the place especially the gentleman wearing a dressed shirt, pants and tie underneath his apron. Reminded me of how things were in the past, not that I'm old or anything but how I pictured how things were back when like the Wendy's guy. The sandwich was quite heavy and very good. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. Will go up here again if I'm in the area. Strictly for food: deep fried turkey had no taste. No seasoning or salt i guess. Tasted like the bird was just dipped in oil . Disappointed with it. But this is just my opinion. I like that it was an organic turkey from the farm. Been here 3 times now and the last time I went I ordered one of their ham and bacon subs but the ham tasted like metal and there was no bacon. I had to trash everything because that metal smell was so overwhelming, which was really disappointing bc I basically paid 12 bucks for nothing. But I decided to give it another try today with some breaded chicken, mozzarella, and veggies and it was great! Too Many Karens complaining on here. First off, I have been a regular here since 2015 and would come in religiously for lunch since i worked at Bank Of America down the road. The service and food is absolutely phenomenal. Prices are a bit high, but get over it; food is top quality. You get what you pay for. The Soups are to die for and I would always get my regular #5 with extra mayo. The owner Joe is the most down to earth person and would make my order as soon as i walked in. I always get the california classic, which is grilled chicken, pepper Jack cheese, avocado, bacon and horseradish mayo on a hero. It tastes great! Their gluten free marsala sauce is amazing!! We buy it often since I've been feeling too lazy to make my own marsala sauce. The food is ok. Similar to a corner store deli but they charge you Manhattan prices. They're not the nicest people, but from the help behind the counter to the way the store looks - I bet they think they're better than the local competition. Besides the lackluster ingredients and the over pricing, I did have an egg sandwich from them once; which may have made me sick. I had a bad stomach pain the whole day after eating a bacon egg and cheese. Never got breakfast again at this location, never got stomach pains again so take that as you will. Quick and tasty option :) I went with the green acres on a multigrain hero - smoked turkey, apple, Brie, greens, and horseradish mustard. The sandwiches are good but the prices are not transparent. UPDATE They raised prices even higher recently They don't put the prices on the board for anything. They charge the same for a hero as they do a sandwich half the size on rye. I got three sandwiches and a small soup there and it was 45 bucks. I am kind of over it. Well enough about bagels, Wyckoff Deli has hands-down, the most delicious Cream of Chicken Homemade Soup OF ALL TIME. I've always struggled finding a place with good soup and I'm amazed by this place. They have other kinds as well, which I'd like to try but I implore you to check out their Cream of Chicken. They have huge vats of their soups in the front. I swear I want to walk in one day and just order the entire vat of Cream of Chicken soup. "Yes that's right sir, not the Portion, not the Pint, not the Quart, wheel that entire bad boy out to the curb and let's hoist it in my trunk. Have always liked their soup, spot on delisious. But..had a meatball sandwich that was awful beyond awful. Got home, opened package, "phew" smelled liked it was made last week. Meat was Dry, did not smell Italian at all. Who made these? Fire them. I threw away that sandwich for sure, and my hands still smell awful. read more

So I brought the last with me and we had the prices next to the soup order and the gentleman said "those are not our soup prices here they are in our price list" To me that is poor business practice.
