    Petto Di Pollo Italiano

This was our first time here and it was amazing! The inside of the restaurant is super cute and the food was so good. We got 2 different chicken dishes and they were both so good. We also got the mozzarella marinara and it basically melted in your mouth. The service was excellent as well, many people asked how our food was and if we needed anything. We will definitely be back!

Met another couple for a mid evening dinner for 2 couples. The other couple is Italian and knows a few of the staff at this restaurant and it showed. The waitress appeared as soon as we were seated with an appetizer board of cheese, small cut meats and a bean salad along with a basket of warm crust bread, oil and butter and bowl of parmigiana cheese. Drinks were brought over by the bartender who served the drinks at the bar. Explanations of the nightly specials were delivered by the waitress and then orders were placed for our meals. The entire night was spectacular, with the delicious split pea with ham soup or salad presented prior to the main courses. The entrees were cooked perfectly and really well seasoned and delicious. The final topper was a lemon cello cake, shared by each couple and a great ending. Everyone needs to experience this restaurant.

Caterina's is an old school classic that never misses. Awesome pours from the bar. Stellar service across the board. The small touches of the anti-pasta tray to the warm bread and olive oil are both delicious and so appreciated. No matter what you're in the mood for it- it's going to be delicious. My husband had the Lasagna--it was a generous portion with outstanding layers of well balanced flavor. I had the Chicken Marsala. It was light and not too sweet. Perfect. Keep Caterina's on your classics list and go often.

I've been to Caterina's twice now, and I've had a great experience both times. The food is yummy and the service is good too. You never have to wait very long for your meal to arrive. One thing that is so cute and unique about this restaurant is the charcuterie board and the warm bread with olive oil that are delivered to your table as an appetizer. There is a great little assortment of meats and it pairs well with the cheese. The little garbanzo bean/chickpea salad is a nice touch. The bread is perfectly crusty and warm and it really soaks up the olive oil (which is seasoned well). This time around, I ordered the meat stuffed shells for an entrée and it was delicious. However, the menu said that the ground beef mixture had cheese in it, but you couldn't taste it at all. Some Parmesan on top would have been nice. Nonetheless, I still enjoyed it. If you're worried about getting a table, it doesn't hurt to call ahead. Also, the parking situation isn't great - the lot is pretty small. I'd totally recommend trying out Caterina's. I think it's totally underrated and worth the drive out there if you're not from the area and looking for a delicious meal.

I started with the bruschetta and I haven't had any this good since a certain Bayshore restaurant went out of business in 2019. In general I'm a huge fan of Benson's restaurants, especially when branzino is on the menu and Onesto's is the best I've had from their group! Came here on a date, and we ordered classic dishes that we love like the carbonara and bolognese pasta dishes. I tried both dishes and the carbonara was my favorite of the two, but honestly, both were not the best pasta dishes I've had at a restaurant - they were okay. We did get bread and salted butter and ordered a cup of creamy clam soup - which was delicious. I would consider the bread, soup, and cocktails the highlight of the meal. The service was great! We had a very attentive server that frequently checked in on our table and answered all of our questions. The dining area is absolutely beautiful and well lit - creating a relaxing and romantic atmosphere for our date night. While the pasta wasn't our favorite, the dining experience was still wonderful and we enjoyed the appetizers/small plates.

This is such a quaint and romantic pasta shop! What makes this restaurant so interesting and unique…read moreis that on their menu, they write in all caps: "All items subject to change without notice." I do hope that their pistachio pasta and veal dish don't go away. For starters, I ordered the Seasonal Bruschetta, which had citrusy notes from the diced tomatoes and pickles with mortadella. For the main course, I ordered the Giovanni's Original Veal Parmesan with fettuccine alfredo. This dish is prepared in the style of Parmesan or Corletta served with your choice of pasta. The veal parmesan was nice and crispy. But the most memorable dish of the night was their Fusilloni al Pistachio. The creamy pistachio pesto, Guanciale, and Brontë pistacho panna crudo brought this dish together so well! I loved the sauce so much that I ended up pouring the sauce all over the fettuccini alfredo. Staff was very attentive and friendly--striking the perfect balance between being available when needed and allowing me to enjoy my meal at my own pace. I ended the night with a classic cheesecake, which was the perfect way to end the night.

We started with a couple of the signature cocktails. My Papa Gio's Old Fashioned was outstanding. The additional Cynar amaro is a stroke of genius. For starters, we ordered the Fried Eggplant (Melanzane Fritte), which was probably the best we have ever had. It arrived piping hot, and the breading was fried to perfection. The eggplant itself was mild, with no hint of bitterness. The accompanying marinara sauce was thick and flavorful. For entrées, we ordered Gio's Stuffed Filet and the Chicken Parmesan. The filet was cooked perfectly to medium-rare and was delicious. The Chicken Parmesan was a huge portion. There were literally three chicken breasts, each with well-seasoned breading and fried to a beautiful golden crispness. It was excellent. We had plenty of leftovers and enjoyed several more meals at home. (The eggplant reheats especially well in an air fryer.) Service: We had a 5:30 reservation and were seated right away. We let our server know that we had a performance to attend and were assured that we would be out with plenty of time to spare. For the vast majority of the evening, the service was great. Unfortunately, things changed toward the end of the meal. We literally could not find our server, and we suspect they may have also been handling a party upstairs. Since we needed to leave, we had the host help us get our bill paid. Feeling rushed at the end of the meal took a bit of the polish off an otherwise excellent experience. Atmosphere: The restaurant is small and has an authentic feel to it. The photos and décor make you feel as though you're dining in a typical European restaurant. The tables are close together, and it was a bit noisy at times. Overall, we had a very good experience. I can't say enough about the drinks and food. I just wish the service had been more consistent throughout the evening. We are looking forward to our next meal there.

Parking was easy (metered street parking) and we were seated as soon as we arrived. Our server was wonderful and our guests loved the ambiance, service, and enjoyed their quiche and hamburger. The cocktails were refreshing and the lunch course is a good deal and a great way to sample 2 or 3 different courses. I had the soup, chicken, and olive oil cake. I liked the flavors and texture but I thought my soup and chicken were overly salty. My husband ordered the Jamon sandwich and said it was "a joke". He said there was one piece of ham, the cheese was dry, the bread was chewy. He felt none of the flavors worked together and he wouldn't order it again. The desserts were wonderful, a lot of texture, flavor, and we loved the olive oil cake!

The drink menu features plenty of specialty cocktails, and I took our server's recommendation and ordered the Whisky Paloma, which was an excellent choice. I loved the chili dust along the rim. It was hard to decide, but I ended up ordering the Burrata pizza with grilled peaches, arugula, and honey. It was very good and would have been even better with a few more grilled peaches. I also ordered the grilled octopus because, if it's on the menu, I just have to try it. It was very good, along with the accompanying roasted potatoes. I prefer my octopus well grilled and firm, and this preparation was a bit softer than I would have liked. We finished with the tiramisu, which was a little disappointing. It was both very cold, as though it had just been thawed, and a bit soggy. Service: The service was very good throughout the evening. We were seated right away, and our server did a nice job of getting us settled in. The drinks and food arrived surprisingly quickly, and we felt well attended to throughout the meal. Thanks, Robert! Atmosphere: The building is a gem, with old brick on the outside and a modern, relaxing design on the inside. There is a foyer where guests are greeted and can wait for their tables. The wood wall treatments and lighting are inventive and upbeat. The many hard surfaces make the acoustics a bit loud, but we were still able to have a conversation comfortably. Overall, it was a very good experience. With a bit more attention to some of the final touches on the food, this could have been an even better experience. We would enjoy coming back again.
