I was really terrified all my life of plastic surgery and when I was researching doctors it was…read moreeven worse because every time I spoke to an office I always felt like an agenda was being pushed or these crazy unbelievable results were being heavily pushed towards me. Offices were spam calling me back daily or bombarding me with emails like ad agencies lol. Or that typical tiktok "this doctor has THIS special technique" which felt sooo gimmicky and fake. I never felt like I really got to see PS doctors as medical providers and get to speak to them without the shiny Beverly Hills facade. Plastic surgery does have this trendy side.. i get it. But it is still a very big medical procedure and I really felt like I just couldn't trust a lot of these flashy doctors I'd spoken to... I lost around 40 lbs and I always dreamed of fixing my lower pooch area - my case is a little odd because I haven't had kids yet and am relatively lean - I was looking for a really refined result. AND zero BS. just tell me what's possible and what's not. Dr. Kim didn't take a crazy consultation fee. I didn't wait months for a consultation. He didn't try to sell me anything. His office looks and works like an actual (clean and beautiful) medical office. I never waited for my appointments. During my consultation, he gave me plenty of time to ask questions and voice my concerns. I didn't feel like I was being spoken down to or being sold a used car. Finally felt like I'm speaking with a doctor who can actually lay out to me exactly what to expect moving forward, the downsides and upsides of my options, and what was and wasn't possible. Nothing was downplayed or overexaggerated. I had never had surgery before and so I really wasn't ready to have a big procedure like a tummy tuck. I asked if there was a more conservative option for my loose skin/pooch - we settled on a mini tuck with lipo to remove a large portion of my problem area - with the door always open for a full if I ever wanted. Dr. Kim was supportive, nonjudgmental and honest about whatever decision I chose. Results - my mini TT results were BEAUTIFUL. My stubborn lower pooch was totally smoothed out - no lipo ripples or weird creases. I recovered in like 2 weeks. No infections, no broken stitches, no seromas, no hypertrophic scarring, no dead skin, just... nothing. Dr. checked in with me after surgery multiple times to make sure I was doing okay. My garment fit comfortably and I was on just tylenol by the end of day 2. My incision healed into a thin, fine line which was sooo easily covered in a bikini. Way later when I was finally ready for a full tummy tuck surgery to reach the last bits of loose skin, the ease of my decision was in large part influenced by how smooth my past experience was. I trusted I was in good hands, and I was right. AGAIN, the entire procedure despite being a WAY bigger one, was just as smooth as the first time. Drains were easy. Stitches dissolved easily. The new incision is exactly where we planned for it to be - thin, and very very low and replaced my older scar. I entrusted Dr Kim to decide whether muscle repair was needed or not - he said he will if needed, since we're already in there let's make it perfect! I am snatched lol :'D my belly button looks so cute with a little hood, it looks natural and lovely. I'm around 3 weeks out and my incision is already so clean and healing very well. At this point, I can say I have a very good idea of how Dr Kim's office works, the pre op, surgery, the follow up, as well as healing/recovery. All the girls remember me, they make scheduling extremely easy, are fun to talk to, and before and after my operation my nurse really made me feel safe, cared for, and at ease. I was given all instructions and medications promptly and on time, as well as the Dr's personal number for any issues at all. Everyone has their own experiences and surgery is a big decision which can have unpredictable outcomes. But for me, choosing Dr. kim (twice) was the best decision I made for myself. I called Dr. Diaz's office to confirm if this was normal and if anything had happened to not achieve the perfect results expected. Dr. Diaz called and explained everything perfectly and removed all of my concerns. Dr. Diaz is truly one of the best plastic surgeons, and a rhinoplasty is like trying to do surgery on a moving target. To solve for the final 1% of my concern, I was invited to speak to him for a revision in the future if needed. This is all to say, he is truly the best and while 99.999% of his results are all home runs, sometimes very complex noses (like mine) have a slightly almost perfect result and that is OKAY! After living with a problem from a previous surgery for over 35 years, I finally decided to have it corrected, and I only wish I had done it much sooner. Going into this surgery, I was extremely apprehensive. Since this was a revision procedure, I had a lot of concerns and uncertainty. From my very first consultation, Dr. Rahban took the time to truly listen to me. He was honest about what could realistically be achieved, never overpromised, and made sure I fully understood the expected outcome. Although I've always been naturally thin, I was left with significant diastasis recti (muscle separation), and my abdomen never returned to normal despite not having much loose skin. I'm very detail-oriented and wanted a surgeon who consistently produced beautiful breast augmentations, tummy tucks (especially natural-looking belly buttons), and rhinoplasty results. This was my first cosmetic surgery consultation, and I left feeling upset and drove home in tears. Throughout the appointment, Dr. Kim did not make eye contact with me, which made the interaction feel impersonal. I came prepared with several questions, hoping to better understand my options, but many of my questions were met with very brief responses that left me feeling as though I should already know the answers. One moment that particularly stood out was when I asked a question to distinguish between two different types of breast implants. Instead of explaining the differences, he responded abruptly, saying, "That is not what I said. At all." The tone felt dismissive and unnecessarily rude. After having two children, my body has significantly changed and I came to the consultation feeling vulnerable and looking for guidance from someone I could trust. Instead, I left feeling uncomfortable, discouraged, and unheard. A consultation is an opportunity to educate patients and build trust, especially for someone who is navigating this process for the first time. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

As…read morea medical student looking to go into aesthetic medicine myself, I am extremely picky when it comes to choosing a provider that I truly trust. Her skill, precision, and honesty are unmatched, and the level of empathy that she's able to maintain throughout every single appointment is something that cannot be replicated. She also has no problem with saying no, which I think is one of the greatest traits an injector can have, and always follows up with a thorough explanation of her rationale in a way that is easily digestible. I've been going to her for over 3 years now for Dysport in different parts of my face as well as my traps, have had zero complications, and have loved how natural my results have been every time. I moved up to Norcal a year ago, but still fly down every 4-5 months to see her. Furthermore, in March, after seeing Angella for my initial follow-up dose of Dsyport, I made the mistake of getting a touch-up with someone else in NorCal because I did not have time to come back down to LA within the time frame that I needed to. For context, my masseters are just extremely strong and sometimes require more units than expected, since it depends on how much teeth grinding I do both at night and throughout the day, all of which is heavily influenced by how stressed I am from school and work. This is unfortunately something that I wish I had never done because their approach was not compatible with the goals that I had communicated to them, leaving me with my left masseters looking larger than the right, as well as my face looking rounder because of where they injected the Dysport. Waiting a couple of months for this second round of Dysport to wear off was extremely frustrating and interfered significantly with my understanding of my image. When I saw Angella again after 4 months, she immediately noticed the imbalance in my face and explained the exact technique she would use to address it, aligning directly with my goals and remembering them. I walked away from this appointment feeling incredibly grateful for her and beyond excited to be reunited, and also so sure that I would never let anyone else touch my face out of convenience ever again. All in all, I could not recommend Angella more. She is a true artist and gem in the world of aesthetic medicine, and she's made me feel so confident in myself.

No Better Pair of Hands, Literally and Figuratively I came to Dr Chang for a revision of a craniofacial surgery elsewhere that had resulted in multiple, serial complications, including infection, and nearly two years of disfigurement. I was only prepared to trust the most expert (and careful) set of hands capable of the most delicate work to put me back together. On every level, Dr Chang delivered that, and then some. Thanks to Dr Chang, as well as her team, I'm whole again, and on track to being essentially unblemished, for the first time in over two years. At no time have I felt alone, uninformed, or unsafe in the process. Since her credentials, experience, and results in general speak for themselves, I'll focus on what working with Dr Chang is like. The throughline of my experience with Dr Chang is caution -- it always comes first, from high-altitude planning to the most niggling of post-op care details. No risk has been overlooked when I've been in her care. Having experienced the alternative, I can assure you: this is what you want, folks. With that said, she has done the absolute utmost to cover the most ground possible, functionally and aesthetically, within those confines of caution. To spell it out plainly, I'm thrilled with my result so far. In other settings, I might have mistaken her initial quiet manner for deadpan, were it not immediately obvious that she speaks from a deeply centered and intensely focused place of care, with the clarity and brevity of someone who truly knows their stuff and weighs every detail, yet evincing zero need to tell people what they don't need to hear - or what they want to hear instead of the truth. Somehow amidst all this, space still remained for me to be neurotic out loud - a lot - in the examination room, and still be met with open ears and a compassionate smile. I've not met another human who can balance all of these things in the moment like that. Dr Chang's team also deserves enormous credit for making a major medical undertaking on the other side of the country as seamless, manageable, and - amazingly - even pleasant, as could be. Her coordinator showed great warmth, unshakable patience with my traumatized skittishness, and undeniable perseverance in finding solutions for logistical obstacles to arranging and completing my surgery. Her medical assistants are also amazing at what they do and just amazing human beings period. They're like a team of ultra-friendly ninjas, always on the lookout for an incoming message, on-point with guidance, and lightning fast in their responsiveness for any and every issue. Of course, credit for assembling such an outstanding and complementary team in the first place must redound to Dr Chang herself. If you have the means and the opportunity to work with Dr Chang, whether for a revision or for a primary surgery that you'd prefer never to need revising, do yourself a favor and get yourself to her office as soon as you can. This review has been long in coming as I wanted sufficient time to sit with my results and experience. It has been four months since my procedure, and I can confidently say that I am delighted with my results. I first met Dr. Chang at the recommendation of a highly respected professional in the field, who I later learned had also been a patient. That information and seeing the results firsthand and up close sealed the deal for me. I had long wished to know her "secret of youth," and her natural-looking results were precisely what I wanted. In short, at 58 years of age, I was tired of looking tired. From the initial consultation, I was put at ease by Dr. Chang and her staff. I sought a conservative approach yet also expected to see significant improvement. While confident that I got the results I'd wished for, I also relied on my eagle-eyed, hard-to-please confidants to be brutally honest in their assessment of my results. My husband would have been the first to complain if he saw that it had not been money well spent. The sworn verdict: My results are pretty fabulous. The most common compliments I now receive are concerning my skin looking "so youthful." (I love it). Still, the biggest surprise came from my husband, who told me, "I never wanted to say anything before, but your neck was .... not so good. Dr. Chang did an AMAZING job. All those lines (with hand motion) are gone. That alone was worth it!" My recovery has been easy and pain-free. There are no visible scars. I do not look "done." Instead, I look refreshed and a bit younger. And to prove it, my new driver's license photo looks virtually the same as my old photo from 10 years ago! Dr. Chang is incredible. I am 6 weeks post op and couldn't be happier with my results. I look like a refreshed version of myself, and the quality of my skin is vastly improved. I have researched and had numerous consultations in OC, Beverly Hills and San Diego over the last 6 years and I was just never ready to commit. At my consultation with Dr. Chang she really took her time to look at my face and tell me what she thought and she showed me in pictures, and with me holding a mirror. What Dr. Chang saw and advised was different from every other surgeon I met with. I saw Dr. Chang at the end of March, and when she had a cancellation in mid June, I booked the surgery and I didn't waffle once. Dr. Chang's techniques are such that post op-I had very little swelling or bruising, my incisions are almost already invisible and hidden. Her team is also top notch. Appointments were easy to schedule, they ran on time and they are happy to answer questions anytime. The recovery process was clearly outlined and I felt supported at all times...I never felt alone or that I had to "wait until Monday" to ask a question, or send a picture. I am beyond glad I am under the care of Dr. Catherine Chang. There is nothing I could say to articulate how amazing she is. I have been to many local plastic surgery offices for botox injections for the past four years. At the beginning of the year, I went to a different office, and their injector botched my face. My forehead was no longer smooth, I had weird wrinkles, and I couldn't fix them until I was due for another treatment (about three to four months). I lost my self-confidence and motivation to go out despite pre-planned committed events. In March, Dr. Chang posted an Instagram about her new office, and I was ecstatic to have an opportunity to go to her. I was able to be squeezed into her schedule right before Coachella. Dr. Chang will threaten you with a lawyer if you post an honest review. Karma will find a way to get her. She will ghost you if she makes a mistake on you as well. Dr. Chang posted pictures of MY body on her website using an "after" photo that belonged to another doctor at her former employer and posted a fake bio under my pictures. Today I will be contacting the medical board and BBB as her lawyer, Suzanne Natbony, called me last week to threaten me, LOL, for telling the truth, and accused me of encouraging my friends to post the TRUTH, as if I can control over human beings, yet this speaks to the lack of ethics this "surgeon" has. 99% of her reviews are from when she was with another plastic surgery office. I've spent a lot of time thoroughly researching a plastic surgeon as I approach 50, in hopes of finding someone who can do some natural looking work. There are a lot of surgeons here in LA. A few are great, many are not. Dr Chang does beautiful work, and while facial work is understandably quite expensive, Dr Chang is not in the ridiculous price range, while her work stands up to those surgeons who definitely are. I had an upper blepharoplasty with her, which healed beautifully, and even my opthalmologist commented on her beautiful work, only 8 weeks out from surgery. Dr Chang's staff are incredibly helpful and attentive, and made me feel safe and informed. My procedure was painless and comfortable, and recovery time was only really 7 days before I looked pretty normal again. I'm thrilled with the result, and people have commented on how youthful I'm looking, without really being able to pinpoint why. NOBODY has asked if I had " work done". I cannot say enough about Dr. Chang and her entire team. I was nervous going into my facelift and from the very first consultation they spent real time with me going over every detail. Initially, I was going to go to a plastic surgeon in Korea for a rhinoplasty that caters to my Asian face. Naked Beauty MD Damask Rose Revitalizing Gold Infused Hydrogel Eye Mask is the best under the eye product I have ever used. Area around eye is hydrated and fine lines are reduced. Products often promise to do this but I have not found one that delivers as well as this one. It will be a staple now in my skin care regime for sure. But the staff at Cassileth and Dr Killeen were truly wonderful and made the journey much better than I imagined. Dr Killeen did my breast reconstruction and I am very pleased with the results. For me a DTI mastectomy made sense. It's not every woman's choice. I was very nervous about every aspect of surgery. I don't know if I'm the only woman but the plastics portion of breast cancer is a bit of an afterthought when you are worried about cancer. I would be asked questions about my new breasts and I was like a deer in headlights. All I knew was that I wanted what I had. I had no idea how to answer their questions. I did not go in for an augmentation. I never thought of this scenario and lacked all imagination in the moment. It was overwhelming because all I could think about was my pathology post- surgery. Dr Killeen and her team are experienced and seemed to know what I was going through and how I was feeling. She listened to what I could muster up and she delivered. Funny the morning of surgery really stands out. She just walked in talking to me like it was a normal day. It was for her. This is what she does and I can't thank her enough. The results- because after it's all over-- we are left changed in many ways. In some ways you can't see the differences and some you can see. I am unsure how, but my new breasts look almost exactly like what I had. And that's not easy. You don't always get a say in breast reconstruction. I am very grateful for the final result. Omar for months said it was just due to swelling and that I would get better. However at my 6 month post op appointment, omar then said he would need to do a second rhinoplasty operation on me to fix the many issues he created in the first rhinoplasty. Don't trust this place, they don't have empathy and are unethical.

No matter who else I met with, I kept coming back to his work. Since I was living in Los Angeles, his pricing was very much in line with other surgeons in the area, I'm currently about eight weeks post-op. While my final results are still developing, I can confidently say that through every stage of healing so far, my results have been exactly what I envisioned. I was initially very nervous about undergoing surgery, especially since this was my first major procedure and I wasn't unhappy with my natural size (starting at a full B cup). However, I have absolutely no regrets--if anything, I would make the same decision again without hesitation. I'm already hoping that when the time comes years from now to replace my implants, Dr. Kim is still practicing in Beverly Hills, because I truly wouldn't consider going anywhere else. I felt very confident in his hands. From my hours of research on breast augmentations I had heard that results can look concerning in the first few days post-op, so I was hesitant to look at my results right away, but even on just day 3 or 4, when I was able to shower, I was honestly AMAZED. Through this accident, she endured 3rd degree burns across her entire abdomen, left arm, hand, and also suffered from ear trauma that caused her to lose a portion of her left ear. Dr. Ourian performed reconstructive surgery on her ear as well as her abdomen through skin grafting. He was very thorough and caring before, during and after her surgeries. We always had many questions during her follow-up visits and he always gave answers that helped to keep us at ease about her recovery. He offered detailed instructions for her wound care and was very responsive if we had questions via text. You can tell Dr. Ourian is a doctor who truly cares as he continues to check on my daughter's well-being a year later and you can also tell his level of knowledge and expertise as her scars are healing beautifully.
