Horrible experience with Dr. Louden. I did not feel she listened to my concerns and my pain still continues.

COVID-19: Social distancing is not enforced at this establishment. Some of the staff wears a mask…read more All patients are not expected to wear a mask. It's optional now. The staff also wears gloves when handling bodily fluids or when touching patients. There are some hand sanitizers available for patients to use. This place is open and available with limited capacity. They are sanitizing in between patients. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was here in this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is decent. It can get full very easily and quickly because they share the lot with several other medical offices. Parking spots are a decent size. Establishment: The establishment itself is very clean, neat, and tidy. Staff: My first visit here as a patient myself wasn't bad, but this time, my mom was the patient and our experience was horrible! The staff here are very incredibly rude, unprofessional, and dismissive. If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would. Let's begin by discussing the receptionist. When my mom and I entered the office, we weren't greeted. The person answering the phone just threw the sign in clipboard towards us and motioned us to fill it out. When I told her that my mom was a new patient, she said, "Hey you! Come here and fill out the new patient form." When we were done filling out the form and we turned it in, the receptionist didn't even speak to us. She just used hand motions. How rude. And now for the crappiest doctor in the world, Dr. Ted Shen. This doctor doesn't like to listen to his patients and is incredibly dismissive. When my mom was trying to explain her symptoms to him, he cut her off mid sentence and said, "This has nothing to do with my area of expertise. You need to see a neurologist. Why are you here? I don't care because that is not my area of expertise. Stop complaining to me." When my mom then complained to him about her frequent stuffy nose, he was all like, "You need surgery to fix it. It's an easy procedure that takes 20 minutes. Yes or no?" What do you mean "yes or no"? When my mom and I tried to ask him about the risk and benefits of this surgery, he dismissed us. He said, "There is no need for both of you to worry about the risks. It's minimal. Both of you are asking too many questions. Stop wasting my time." WTF?!?! Plus, he didn't even take the time to look inside her nose to see what's wrong. How did he know that she needed surgery? Did this asshat just assume she needed nose surgery? What kind of shit medical practice is he running over here? He is also very arrogant. I told him I was a nurse, and I am taking my mom's symptoms and complaints very seriously. He then said, "Oh you're a nurse. Did you go to medical school for 12 years? If not, be quiet! You don't know anything!" Like wow! How rude, disrespectful, and condescending! He was also very impatient and rushing. When my mom wanted to tell him a couple more things, he kept one hand on the door knob trying to leaving the room. He also had the audacity to say, "Okay. Hurry up. Please shorten your story." Like wow! What an ass. He just seemed so annoyed and irritated when we kept asking him questions. *sigh* When he used the otoscope to look into my mom's ears, he was very rough. Also, when he used some medical device to take out some ear wax from my mom's ears, he was incredibly rough. He was so rough that my mom screamed out in pain. I told him to stop what he was doing immediately, and he called my mom weak for being unable to tolerate what he was doing to my mom's ears. Horrible bedside manners. I wanted to punch this guy in the face so badly in that moment. Do yourself a favor and do NOT see him. He's the worst doctor ever. My mom and I felt belittled after our visit. He's the doctor from hell. He seriously lacks compassion, empathy, and understanding. Dude is a massive douche bag. I honestly expected more and better from a doctor. This is probably one of the worst experiences / interactions I have ever had with a doctor. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.

I'm a medical social worker and work with patients in the elderly community. My elderly mother was referred to him by her primary for chronic ear wax build up, obstructing her hearing. She had previously complained to me about a sinus procedure he had done on her which was very painful for her, but she chose to continue to see him because he had previously done a great job cleaning her ears. She went back to see him and came home upset stating that he rushingly attended her, was very dismissive of her symptoms, was trying to sell her hearing aids instead, and did a poor job of cleaning her ears. One was still muffled. I called the doctor's office and scheduled another appointment for her. This time I decided I was going to go with her, to see what was going on. True to form, Dr Shen rushed in, was very short at explaining what was going with my mother, using words like "I told you", and "I already explained it to her". She's 81 years old. Where is the respect? No patience and poor, condescending behavior. It's important to have empathy and the desire to bring comfort to your patients. None here though. My mother suffers from vertigo which gets triggered when her ears are cleaned. She began to feel it come on while he re-cleaned her ear. Instead of being understanding and explaining to her what was going on, he was short and dismissively stated "it will go away". I was thoroughly disgusted. You're in the helping profession and get paid well to provide a service. If you don't like it, you should not be doing what you're doing. People pay you, as well as insurance companies for care. They deserve more than poor quality, take your money and dash service.

This review for Dr. Battaglia is long overdue…read more Dr. Battaglia was referred to me after I consulted another doctor (for something else entirely). My first appointment, I think it took me like... 2 to 3 months before I actually got to see Dr. Battaglia (found out why later). I figured it maybe worth it as my problem has been with me most of my life and I kind of refuse to be a mouth breather any further. When my appointment finally came, my first meeting was with his assistant (sorry I forgot your name) but I got to describe my problem and basically it has been a life long problem of mine. After listening for a bit, she proceeded to basically numb my nose so he can be seen with a small little camera. That is already far better than what my other ENT doctor has done by the way. While the little camera was snaking its way up both of my nostrils, I realized quickly that, I don't think it should be... FEELING it snake like that. When that was done, the assistant (not PA, actual assistant) showed me the video and I saw the problem with my own eyes. Can't really breathe normally when your nasal passage is touching (turbinate's) and other areas were so narrow it was not ideal. I was told to wait a little bit before Dr. Battaglia came, and when he did come in. We exchanged greetings, I did my best to explain things again but he took a look himself, even though the video was there. He said some medical terms that went completely over my head but I already know the gist of the problem I been having (since i just saw it). I know my parents, both have an issue similar to this (not sure how bad) but it was clear to me, at least for my case, it is a genetic problem. Was then given two options, keep doing what I been doing with over-the-counter medication (which was doing barely anything) or have surgery to correct my issue. Septoplasty and turbinate reduction. I agreed to the surgery on the spot, despite not knowing the risks or cost involved because I am way over dealing with not being able to breathe through my nose. Had one pre-op appointment (back in late December, 2025) which was brief. Dr. Battaglia said the operation is pretty straight forward (as he has done this plenty of times I'm sure). There is reason why he takes so long to visit because half of the week, he is doing surgery. Currently three and a half months post-surgery (end of January, 2026. Review for that is posted) and so far, I cannot be happier considering I been able to breathe like a normal person for once. First week was definitely a bit of a pain. Just what I been experiencing most of my like times two. It was that annoying but so far, it has been worth it. I am glad I went through with it. My other ENT doctor was no where as descriptive or helpful. Taking constant over the counter medication for obstruction in your nose is not a solution. Having a video to see for certain the problems I been dealing with all my life is a good way to tell me that what my other ENT doctor suggested was never going to work as my issue goes far deeper. Now, the surgery doesn't resolve my allergy problem but that's another story. If you ever need any advice, having actual proof shown to you by the doctor is always the best. So you can make your own decision.

I spent a lot of time researching providers and following Dr. Kay on Instagram before finally making my decision. From the moment I walked in, she radiated professionalism, expertise, and a genuinely caring nature, which gave me the confidence to take the leap. She took the time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly explain my filler procedure, and make sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. Her gentle approach and attention to detail immediately put me at ease. What impressed me most was how much she genuinely cared about achieving natural, beautiful results while addressing my specific concerns. Her staff deserves recognition as well. Everyone is warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, making you feel like a valued VIP from the moment you arrive. Could I find a provider closer to home? Absolutely. But none would compare to the exceptional level of care, professionalism, and personalized attention that Dr. Kay and her team consistently provide. For me, the drive is a small price to pay for such an outstanding experience. Highly recommend.
