I came by on a hot Summer day, the flavor on Monday was Cherry Cola, not many places sell this flavor, I was happy to go with the flavor of the day. This was my first time at Joe's, I decided to order the Joe-latti. It is a combination of Italian ice topped with their creamy vanilla soft serve ice cream. I must return for the Pineapple Dole flavor, it's my favorite icee. There was a long line, but it moved reasonably quick. An automated voice will announce when the next cashier's window is open. Notes: - Open 7 days a week - Credit cards accepted - Private lot has a small section for employees, another area for customers, and two spots reserved for pickup/delivery drivers. I did it for the kids!!!…read more Been wanting to try this for months and finally was in the area and it worked out where we found a parking down the street across the street parallel to the curb. Literally like a Disneyland ride line. As we saw the line we got overwhelmed and almost turned around but asked someone who was just leaving with their dessert how long the wait was and they quoted "20 minutes." We actually waited 40. Glad we did vs ordering for pick up online because once we got to the window the magic started where the staff offered samples and flavor suggestion. I went with mango joe Lati and loved my choice. The frozen custard on top was my favorite part with the mango and the vanilla soft serve underneath. Tasted like my childhood fave orange creamsicle aka half and half bar. My hubby liked the cherry Italian and sons liked their blue Hawaiian and strawberry and creams Joe lati to go (came with cap so I can transport home). Next time will definitely order for pick up at the website & obtain at the window-/ there's a staff at the window to point you in the right direction. There are a couple restrooms for customer use. Saw fireworks while in line. It was a fun experience. Must try. The hype was real.

I have been to other Salt and Straw locations, including the locations in Newport Beach, New York City (Upper West Side), Downtown LA, and San Diego (Little Italy), but the visit I had yesterday at the Anaheim was unparalleled. We entered in at about 5:45 pm. Usually the line at this establishment is lengthy, but we fortunately only had to wait a few minutes before being helped. While in line, I noticed that the store was impeccably clean, and everyone working behind the counter were very pleasant greeting every customer that entered while they were busy assisting the other eager customers. Jacob (the name of the gentleman who helped my fiancé and I select our ice cream flavors) was incredibly patient as we tried about 8 different flavors and went above in beyond in providing us with additional flavors to sample and providing us with his ice cream flavor pairing recommendations. Normally we stick to the more traditional ice cream flavors, but wanted to try something new this visit. We were blown away by the many odd but curiously delicious flavors that were being offered. After tasting the wildly unique flavors (including Gruyere Cheese and Tomato, Arbequine Olive Oil, Rhubarb Crumble with Toasted Anise, and Wildflower Honey and Lemon Chess Pie), Jacob suggested that we pair the Rhubarb Crumble with Toasted Anise and Wildflower Honey and Lemon Chess Pie together. We loved this suggestion, and gladly obliged. Jacob even went out of his way to explain what a Chess Pie was (I had no idea what it was, but now I'm going to scope out a place to try it!), and even asked if we had a preference of which ice cream flavor scoop was stacked on top of the other scoop. What began as a spur of the moment decision to get ice cream on a hot day, turned out to be such a fun tasting experience (all thanks to Jacob!) that left us excited to return and order our next unique ice cream pairing. We're thinking Gruyere and Tomato paired with Albequina Olive Oil, but who knows which tantalizing flavors will be featured upon our return!

Definitely a fun place to try something different and they also have seasonal flavors to try out. There is parking validation if you spend 20$. The flavors I got were Honey Lavender and Coffee & Love Nuts. Really liked the super smooth and light floral note of the honey lavender - it wasn't overpowering but balanced with a subtle sweetness. The Coffee & Love Nuts was more rich and creamy with some nutty crunch. Definitely a lot of unique flavors to try out if you are looking for something adventurous! Was in the area this evening after a kids event and grabbed some Cauldron. Still fantastic! Made fresh, super creamy and delicious! My wife got the Puffle with Milk & Cereal flavor, enjoyed it a ton. Kids and I all got mint chocolate chip, VERY creamy with big chunks of chocolate. Wish we had one closer to home! Highly recommend.

We ordered three things; mint chocolate chip, rose, and milk and cereal. All with a bubble waffle cone. The service was disappointing, the guy who worked there seemed like he didn't care and it was just another job. No life to him and was just rude about asking the code for the bathroom. The mint and chip is basic. Nothing too much about it. My kids like it, so I got it. Average 3/5. The rose ice cream tasted like a rose, it was pretty good and very floral. The disappointing part is I was hoping the ice cream would be shaped like a rose as depicted on the picture. Nope, just a scoop and left it as is. 5/5 for taste and 0/5 for presentation. The milk and cereal one was actually pretty good. Especially with Frosted Flakes in it. It literally taste like cereal. 5/5. I would give it a higher star if the service complimented it and th presentation of the rose ice cream did.

The blueberry donuts tasted like a cake donut with blue berries mixed in. Not too overly sweet, a little bit harder than expected. They were small, but packed a lot. It's also drive-thru only, so once you're in line, you're pretty much committed to waiting. The blueberry donuts themselves were worth trying. They came out freshly made, crispy on the outside, and weren't overly sweet. They limit you to 6 donuts for around $20. I'm also a little confused by the name M&M Donuts because they didn't seem to have any M&M donuts, and they're mainly known for their blueberry donuts anyway. If I came back, I'd probably go closer to closing time. The number of cars doesn't seem to change much throughout the night, and with how slowly the line moves, you might end up getting your donuts around closing time regardless. Very solid blueberry donuts, especially when they're fresh, but the long drive-thru wait is pretty inconvenient.
