No line so perfect for the chance to try Salt and Straw :) the workers were so nice and friendly and allowed us to try some samples of the new June seasonal flavors, the Chef Menu! They were also very knowledgeable about the different ingredients in each ice cream when we inquired about it. It was busy but they were still very attentive to our needs. Lively atmosphere since it's in Downtown Disney! Unfortunately I did not really enjoy the special flavors as much as I would like even after sampling a bit. The Hong Kong milk tea flavor was too subtle, I was expecting a stronger tea flavor. The chocolate caramel smoked budino was okay, the texture of the pudding portion threw me off. And overall both flavors were surprisingly saltier the more I ate it haha. Not bad but not great, I would probably stick to their other classic flavors next time :)

Seasonal flavors always changing! We dropped by after dinner from the brewery and our Disney date. Perfect end to our night. Magic key holders aka Disney season pass holders get a waffle cone for free! Decided to get 2 scoops in a waffle cone. Couldn't resist the fresh waffle aroma! Went with a seasonal and a classic. Peanut butter and jelly and the sea salt ribbon caramel. Definitely could have done a spilt scoop. Great treat to end the night. One day I'll get their cake! The carrot ice cream cake looks amazing!

Duuuuuude!!! Mobile order! After a long day at Disney my kids wanted ice cream, but the line was so long, maybe 45 mins of a wait, and I chose to mobile order and see if it would make a difference. IT DID! After placing a mobile order, I received a text maybe 5 to 7 mins later that my order was ready. Got two chocolate ice creams for my kids in less than 10! thanks to mobile order. Man, what a great invention!

This was my first visit to this salt and straw location here in downtown Disney. I remember seeing that they had the tacolate which is the interpretation of Choco taco. So I had to stop in and sell that line wasn't too long so I decided to stop in. I also tried a couple of the seasonal flavors and everything is so delicious in a unique here. Some of the flavors are a little too unique, but it's also creative of what they have done The queue does rub around inside, but that's just how in Disney is. All the team members are here and the line goes by fairly quick, which is great. They'll let you try some of the samples, which is great so you know for sure what you want And then the very end is where you make your purchase. This is the place to go for unique and delicious tasting ice cream treats Overall, they have a lot of interesting and creative flavors. It's worth it trying and you might find a new favorite of yours. Everything is amazing and darn those waffle bowls - they smell so good.

Yes, I fell for the hype. I came here after our Din Tai dinner to get some ice cream for the girls and I. I enjoy how you are able to taste test the flavors (without abusing of course), before committing. It is definitely an adult version of baskin Robbin's. I do mean it as a compliment. The flavors were unique but definitely higher priced. Must consider the location for rent and any Disney associated property will have a higher price tag. Was the ice cream good? Yes. Would I come back, my e wallet says no. lol

Ice cream really good, but for $10 a single scoop + tip and tax, it needs to be a lot bigger, I felt rip off, especially if you are waiting in a long line also. The single scoop is so small it felt like a kids scoop. For that price might as well buy a whole pint for $13.

We wanted some sort of dessert and ended up at Salt & Straw. The line was very long; out the door but went by quickly. They have variety of flavors, seasonal flavors as well and they were delicious. Moderate prices for ice cream. Very clean establishment, friendly staff and fast check out. Must visit if you visit downtown Disney.

Darbie is awesome! We wanted to try all the new flavors and she was really patient with us. We were there on a Monday around 5:30pm and the line wasn't too pretty short (meaning it was all indoors and no outside line yet).

My experience at Salt & Straw is always a 10/10. The ice cream here is unmatched! There standard flavors are amazing and they always rotate in fun, adventurous flavors as well. The employees at the Downtown Disney Salt & Straw location are so efficient and nice! We had grabbed a pint from the freezer to take home, and a c ast member went to the back and grabbed us a fresh one that was super frozen to make it easier to get home, so nice! We indulged in a few flavors! We had sea salt with caramel ribbons, honey lavender, gooey brownie, and pear and blue cheese. My favorite part about Salt & Straw is the option for a kids scoop or a split scoop if you want to try more than one flavor!

The "standing" flavors....all worth a scoop or two!

Visited Salt & Straw in the Downtown Disney area and it was such a nice ice cream shop. The flavors are definitely unique--this summer month was focus on "farmers market" so sounds a little bizarre at first--but they're surprisingly complex and really well done like the dill + cucumber flavor, you could ask for samples. I tried several on the "limited edition" menu board. Even the ones I wasn't sure about ended up tasting good and intentional. The ice cream ingredients are certainly above average and creamy. This year, they have strawberry waffles cones, in addition to the standard cones. Soooooo tasty! The staff, of course, is nice and efficient. Perfect spot if you're feeling adventurous with ice cream. The downside there's no inside sitting so you grab your ice cream, continue walking and browsing the decorative areas that Downtown Disney got to offer.

A must-visit for ice cream lovers at Disney! Salt & Straw offers an amazing variety of seasonal specialty flavors alongside their classic favorites. You can even upgrade to a chocolate waffle cone instead of the standard option, a sweet little extra touch. The ice cream itself is incredibly flavorful, and the staff serves generous scoops that make it even more satisfying. While there isn't indoor seating, there's plenty of public seating right outside the main entrance to enjoy your treat and take in the atmosphere. A perfect stop for anyone with a sweet tooth! Expect to spend $25+ if you're with 2 or more people

I'm already familiar with Salt & Straw, so when I needed a little sweet treat after lunch at Downtown Disney, this was an easy choice. I knew I could count on them to deliver some solid ice cream--and they absolutely did. There's usually a bit of a line (because the ice cream is that good), but it moved quickly. You order at the counter, can sample flavors if you want, then walk down the line to pay. Super simple and efficient. Salt & Straw is known for their unique flavors, but this time I went with a classic: Salted, Malted Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. It delivered. The malted texture was perfect, and it was packed with cookie dough. I got it in a freshly made waffle cone, which made it even better. My mom ordered the Sea Salt with Caramel Ribbons and said it was also delicious. Overall, this was a solid 10/10 ice cream experience. Consistently great quality and always worth the stop.

Salt & straw is hands down my favorite dessert spot. They offer fun, unique, delicious, different flavors that no other ice cream place offers. While this particular location can be crowded and a little more difficult to access, they never disappoint. The line tends to be long because it is located in Downtown Disney. However, the line goes by very quickly. The inside of the shop itself is small, offering several ice cream stations with different employees assisting. The service itself is pretty good. The employees offer samples and ask which flavors you would like to try. This is particularly beneficial because it gives the customer opportunities to try their unique flavors before ordering. While this location does not have any seating in the establishment, there's some outside on planters. I did take off one star because this location is difficult to access. Parking is $10 with Validation and you need to walk to access the place. In addition, seating is limited outside. However, salt & straw is a must try.

Are there any sugar free options or no sugar added options? TIA.

Is this in the Disneyland park?

This is outside the parks located at downtown Disney.

    Dairy free options?

Hi Kylee! Yes, we do have several vegan and dairy free flavors! Check out saltandstraw.com to find our current flavors. All vegan flavors are labeled with a (v).

Is pots of gold and rainbows flavor available all the time?

Do they sell ice cream cakes?

    no, they do not

Does this location always have an oat milk ice cream option?

Nope. It's annoying that they advertise as having vegan options but it's really hit or miss.

Please find a way to have curbside pickup at the parking lot next to Disneyland Hotel?

    that's never going to happen

Is the $10 flat rate parking fee even with validation?

They don't validate anymore as far as I know. It's a flat $10 fee that gets your car admission to park & you into downtown Disney area and parts of California adventure.

Can you go without Disney pass?

    Yes you can.

Are the cones vegan as well?

Yes, the standard sugar cone. Not the waffle cones

Do they validate parking for Downtown Disney visitors only?

Yes they validate parking if it's over a $20 purchase.

Is there a Disney Annual Passholder discount? Yup. Thanks Lynda. I just asked too. Got 10% off but…

They've now changed it to a $1 off pints and no 10% discount
