They had recommended I order it and I am glad I did because it didn't stand out to me initially on the menu. The condiments in the sandwich went really well as well. I do highly recommend ordering this! The mama shawarma plate will satisfy any shawarma craving, of course while being plant based. The soy curls were perfectly seasoned and tender. The lentil rice went perfectly well with the soy curls and the sauce. The salad was tasty with vegan feta cheese. I highly recommend ordering this if you are a first timer. I had also wanted to order the cauliflower bites but they mentioned it was going to take too long to make since they had to make it from fresh so I often not to since I was in a hurry. Orders are placed at the counter and then brought to you. While small there is definitely attention to detail in the decor (I just love the table patterns). My recommendation is to scope out the menu before you go but in all honesty you likely can not go wrong with any of your orders. Plus the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about the meals. With meals that leave you full and prices that won't break the bank if you happen to find yourself in Oakville (or live there) and want some great vegan dishes this is definitely a must visit.

I ordered a mini Aztec bowl - my base choice was the Konjac noodles (which I've made on my own before and like as a low carb option) but you can also opt for kale, rice or quinoa. My protein was the Kefta made from carrots, but tofu is also offered. The bowl was the perfect size for a light lunch. It came with a basil dressing and had other ingredients such as broccoli, beets, carrot, chickpea, and sweet potato. I was hoping for at least 2-3 pieces of the Kefta, but it only came with one which I was a bit surprised at. Overall the taste was great and there was enough dressing sent to add flavour and avoid dryness. It also arrived by delivery before the expected time which never happens especially during a lunch rush. I ordered a small poutine on the side because I was curious what the mushroom gravy would taste like. I really enjoyed it! In the future I would love to try their breakfast sandwiches as they serve the vegan Just Egg brand which I haven't had yet. That said, the cupcakes all look delightful and wonderful, and the fact that they have vegan ice cream is a rare treat. That is why I will be returning here. What's wonderful is how close this place is to a vegan restaurant that is also really good, allowing you to get a little bit of everything on a beautiful summer's day. Or winter day.
