This company is contracted by Stern Property Management my management co. I have lived in my apt 10 years, and never felt so dissapointed in a company in all of that time. I requested a visit for pest control through my management portal. I live in a studio. I received a call that the technician was on his way almost 8 hours ahead of the windowed time. I happened to have $600 cash on my side table ready for deposit that day. I rarely have cash in my home. However, on this day I did. I was caught up on a work call, and I because of the early arrival, I had forgotten to move it out of sight. THe technician showed up and I am not really sure did much of anything because the problem still exists. Later in the day, the cash was missing. Now, I know it is hard to prove such a thing where cash is involved, but no one has access to my home or comes through without me being here. I later called and emailed Mr Bradshaw the manager of this company. After he supposedly did an investigation, I was told he had no reason to believe his employee would do such a thing. Especially, because he simply told Mr. Bradshaw he did not see any cash?????!!!!! And that concluded his communications with me. I have reported them to the BBB and my management co. As you can read some of the other reviews, there are similar reviews that this company and its employees can not be trusted. Please do take this into consideration before hiring them. It's not worth having your property go missing. And finally, many companies have insurance for theft by employees, and it was never ever even a consideration for them to file a claim. read more

Their working little short ly shrimp trolls don't even carry ladders. So they will take anything in your yard and stand on it. When they crack it, they hide it and don't say anything, leaving you with broken items which means you have to pay to replace it. I had a termite issue (we're talking hundreds of underground termites) and my wife was worried it would become a huge problem but Cats handled it very fast. They were polite, and were in and out of my house in 2 hours. Now I don't have a termite problem anymore, so that's nice. They had to move some of my outdoor furniture around to get access to the concrete below my house, but they patched all the holes they made and moved my furniture back so it was like nobody was there. I wish I could give them zero stars. My management company hired them to treat my apartment that was infested by fleas. They probably sprayed water, because I came to my unit 24 hours after just to find active eggs on the floor, fleas crawling on my couch and FLEA WORMS, alive. I called them and said the bugs were still there, they said they could only do a second treatment after 7 days which is pure bs. Where would I even stay in the meantime?? My management also didn't care and now I'm stuck outside my house while my apartment is being taken over by fleas. I called them to get them to come again, they needed to reschedule with my management who's paying for it and guess what? No one reschedule anything! It's an atrocity to deal with them, rude people and completely useless. UPDATE: This has to be a joke. This company came on the 2nd so on the 9th it completed 7 days. I called you on the 7th, asked for a second service, it took you two and a half weeks to come back! On the 19th I took someone to check the apartment and he was only there for ten minutes, got out with over 50 fleas on him because this company didn't spray every corner of the house, we saw active eggs on the floor and knew this was going to happen. I asked the building manager to go open the door on the 24th, she didn't. I was located 70 miles away at a friend's house after he picked me up from the street because neither your company nor my manager took care of this as fast as it could possibly be done! So yeah, I'm sorry I couldn't get a ride just to open a door. She read the message at 9am and chose not to go or send someone. Lastly, I no longer live there, They told me to pick a date if I chose to leave, I told them I'd be gone by Oct 1st after many failed attempts of fixing this, so if they didn't send someone again to open the door and fix this, I'm not liable, it is their problem now. I'm sorry but your company wasn't as responsive nor made an effort to come up with quick follow up and future treatments. Due to this, fleas multiplied like crazy, only made things worse and made it impossible for me or my pet to live there. I paid rent and ended up on the street for a month. read more

I highly recommend Carlos Gonzalez as THE best pest control expert / field representative at CatsUSA (I believe he said his # with CatsUSA was 34 -- should that help logistically). Carlos was so incredibly kind from the second he arrived at my apartment. He compassionately answered every single one of my longggg list of anxious questions regarding the pest treatment he was going to be using to treat the cockroaches in my apartment unit (like whether my little dog will be safe afterward, how long it would take until my dog could walk around my house, could I use my shower after he treated my bathroom...) He helped me understand what to expect, where he was going to treat and what he was going to use, and alleviated any and all concerns I had about next steps. He even got on his hands and knees and dug around to try and find possible holes in my cabinets and under my sinks -- thanks to him, I now know, too, that there are possible mice crawling behind my walls...I had no idea! Not only that!! He showed me the crawl space underneath my apartment unit that I had never seen before, he crawled inside there like a champion and sprayed around while telling me as he went what he was doing and what he was spraying above him: "here's your living room...your kitchen..." it was amazing and so wonderful to see him in action. He REALLY knows his stuff!! I asked about the treatments he was using and what the names of the treatments were called, and he explained how he safely used the chemicals, which treatment was used in my apartment versus in the crawl space and why. I learned so much from Carlos and I truly appreciate the time and energy he took to help me feel better about it all and to show me the lengths to which my apartment issue with cockroaches will get better no doubt!! 5+ stars for Carlos Gonzalez. Our exterminator, Angel Sanchez, has gone above and beyond to make sure our family is safe from the pests that were overrunning our house, specifically scorpions. We have a newborn and worry for her safety. Angel goes the extra mile, checking the perimeter for scorpions whenever he visits to check the mouse traps. He even caught a lizard for us that had gotten into the house. Since he's been servicing the house, we haven't had any more scorpions inside the house and we're finding many dead bugs outside. We were having a disgusting problem with giant outdoor roaches finding their way into the house and becoming horrifying toys for our cat. I was seriously losing sleep over it - it makes me want to crawl out of my skin. Once we figured out they weren't getting in through the front screen door, we were out of ideas and called Cats, as I've had them out to get rid of wasp nests in the past and was happy with them. The process of setting an appointment for someone to come over was unnecessarily complicated and involved several phone calls, but the tech they sent the next day was like a roachkiller ninja. He immediately figured out where they were getting in (under the kitchen sink - ew), set traps, and sprayed the crap out of every possible hideyhole. I am happy to report, and my cat is disappointed to report, that we haven't seen a roach since. read more

The exterminator arrived without notice or consent from my landlord. Our unit doesn't have a pest problem, but our neighbors (who share a duplex with us) frequently see rats in their home. The exterminator didn't know what type of poison was being used in the bait traps he laid. I asked how they work, because I am concerned about children or animals in my household and family coming in contact with the bait boxes and he was not able to give me an answer so I asked him not to leave the traps around my home and to instead place them in my neighbor's property instead. He left, and said he took photos of the infested property but that turned out to not be true. Now I'm entering a legal battle because they are unable to answer why they have left traps around my clean, uninfested home which will allegedly lure rats from the infested property to my own place. This company claims to be green, but how inept can you be to not even lay bait boxes at the correct house and not even know how they work? Do not trust these clowns. read more

I own a condo in the San Fernando Valley. The homeowners association of my complex has chosen to use cats for the pest control and termite issues. Needless to say we still have Termite & Pest issues. Every year we get the same lousy inspector Daniel. He kind of looks like Pee Wee Herman. He mopes around the property barely looking at anything. Every other year they come in my house and find termites somewhere else and treat the drywall. Yes I said drywall. They call it a control service. Huh... The complex needs to be tented. The recommendation for fumigation has been given only once before by great technician/inspector named Art. I haven't seen him in a couple years. I miss you Art!
