This is the first time we've ate cattleman 's pizza I've heard so many good things about this place. We ordered a small pepper and cheese pizza with an Italian sub. The sub was pretty good. The pizza was the worst pizza I've had in my life. I guess that goes to prove Josie's pizza in the bottoms Westside Columbus was the best pizza ever. We wanted to try Cattlemens because they delivered. Food... I have been eating their pizza for nearly 24 years. The Team at Cattleman's is Best of the Best...and makes my Friday nights perfect. The crust is light and crispy with just enough sustenance you get to hold the toppings without everything falling off...I swear its a bit "beef hoppy" even though she swears there's no beer in the dough, pepperoni is nice cheese is blended well... trust me come out to Darbydale bring a fishing pole to either Osprey Lake or Pleasant Valley Battelle Darby...but stop by Cattlemans and have a pizza! My family liked Cattelmans. The crust is not the best, too crunchy in my opinion, but I really like the sauce. They have great deals on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. My family absolutely loves Cattlemans pizza and it has been a staple in my household since 2005. The crust is on the thicker side, sauce it not too tart or too sweet. The service has always been fantastic. Mondays thru Wednesdays there are deals that make eating out affordable. They have an outdoor eating area however typically not used. We kept it simple: pepperoni pizza with extra cheese and an Italian sub. The sub: first off, the bun was amazing, I saw a box from Auddinos so I'm guessing they made it, fresh toppings , baked just right , literally no complaints. The pizza had a sweet sauce and it had that doughy taste where you can actually taste the dough and toppings together , like, you could smell the flour so you know the dough was fresh. They use real pepperoni , the kind that curl up in the oven, and super fresh cheese too. I used to have this place several times a week as a kid in the 80's and 90's. We moved away and I recently made the trek for another round. This is by far on of the best pizza places i have ever had. This include Chicago, NY and darn near all other columbus places. It continues to be the same as it used to be! Only problem is they don't deliver 45 minutes away. read more

I like the people here. The place is small and dirty, but has a little charm. But the product is not my type of pizza. Undercooked dough, bland watery vegetables on top. Lacks flavor and quality. Ill try it again someday. We did a side by side taste test (bc we were confused on who was picking up dinner) with hound dogs pizza near osu campus and hound dogs blew this pizza away. The spaghetti was ok, the wings I'm not sure where they get them they are tiny very tiny no meat on them. Can't get them extra wet. Just wasn't good.
