Italian Sub
Hay S.

This pizza is PHENOMENAL. Italian Sub was Good. Pricing is fair for portion & quality! My first time and definitely won't be my last. We got a large meat lovers and an Italian sub. Pizza is thin and cooked perfectly, hearty amount of tasty sauce, toppings are top tier with JUICY Italian sausage, fresh LEGIT bacon crumbles & pepperoni is on a DONATOS level, with pieces of ham that are not slimy or seem to have been frozen. Plenty of toppings. The sub would be top quality if it had a flavor to the bread, maybe a garlic butter on top or even cheese and be toasted. MORAL OF STORY my family will be back & we will be telling EVERYONE about this pizzeria.

Counter for ordering.

Good solid pizza. Fresh and hot each time. The staff was delightful to me. Parking and maneuvering can be a bit of a pain.

No matter what you pick you can't go wrong with Padova's! Yahya and staff know your name and order by heart! Food is always consistently amazing, out fast and always hot!!

Large pep sausage xcheese Yummmm!

Padovas has been consistently the best pizza I've had in Columbus. Always affordable, cooked evenly, cut all the way through, and delicious!

You get 2 Italian sub with medium pepperoni for 17.95$

Decent pizza if you like your sauce thick n sweet. Pepperoni not spicy just normal. The cheese itself doesn't have a deep cheese flavor. The crust is decent. The Italian subs were not as good as the Big Don from Donato. Most of the flavor is from the Italian dressing. Just ok.

If you are a thin crust pizza lover, this is one of the best. Pepperoni was just like I want it. The kind that curls up with little grease puddles. Fantastic sauce. Absolutely fantastic. Only $13.95 for xtra large pep.

Large pep and extra cheese please

So I've been doing the low carb diet for over a year now and last night I decided to have a "cheat" night. I have no regrets in choosing Padova's as my cheat meal! They have an awesome pizza recipe. The sauce has a sweetness to it and their sausage has got just the right amount of spice. I am typically not a fan of sausage on my pizza but their sausage recipe is delicious! The only reason they didn't get 5 stars was that the crust on the center pieces was not as crispy as I thought it should have been. But if crisping the center pieces means the outer pieces change texture or consistency then I would keep it as is. And as I sat in the car waiting for my husband to get the pizza... I noticed that there is a Donatos's pizzeria just 4 doors down from them. It says a lot that a mom and pop place can stay in business with a big box store only a few doors down! This is a special place and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

An order of the pizza rolls !

Im still kind of new to the area and wanted to try a different pizza place for dinner . Read some reviews before deciding to order . I was pretty hesitant about ordering just because the reviews didn't seem that great. However, I decided to order anyways! The gentlemen at the counter when I picked up were really nice ! I ordered a medium pepperoni with an order of their pizza rolls. The pizza rolls are FRIED !!! I was happily surprised by this !! The sauce on the pizza was good! There was a good sauce, crust (thin crust), and topping ratio ! Overall a really good pizza!

We…read morespent over $80 on a to-go order that included two Gina's Gem, a big cheese pizza, and a salad. The pizza arrived cold but was still edible. Unfortunately, the Gina's Gem was nothing like what was advertised. I was expecting warm, crusty bread with a roasted cheese dip on the side so you could tear pieces of bread and dip them into the cheese. Instead, the cheese had already been spread directly onto the bread and toasted together. Because of that, the bread lost the texture you would expect--it wasn't crusty or dippable at all. It ended up soft, almost soggy, and the cheese was baked onto the bread rather than being a dip. The whole appeal of the dish was supposed to be the warm bread with the roasted cheese to dip into, and that part was completely missing. Included with the bread was a hot honey that missed the mark on being "hot" and some kind of jam. These options just made everything even more soft....which should have been impossible. The salad was actually the best part of the meal - even though it was a bit spicy. I've always had good experiences here in the past, so this was a big letdown--especially for the price. I just wish the to-go version of the dish matched how it's described, or that expectations were set correctly when ordering. Unfortunately, this experience made me lose all trust in ordering from here again. I can't believe we waited until exactly 3pm (when they opened) to order this.... At the very least the pizza should have been hot.

The sandwich was honestly the highlight of the meal. It was delicious, and the pizza dough as the bread was such a unique touch that you really don't find at many Italian sandwich spots around Columbus. The pizza itself was just okay. As you can see from the picture, the toppings weren't distributed very evenly, so some slices had mostly sauce with barely any cheese while others had way more toppings and cheese but less sauce. I also wish the pizza had been cooked a little longer overall because it was pretty floppy and doughy. One thing that makes it tough is that once the movie starts, it's hard to go back and ask for changes or anything since the theater is packed and getting in and out of the seats feels disruptive. We'll definitely be back to Grandview Theater because we love the experience overall, but next time I'll probably stick to the sandwiches and popcorn and skip the pizza.

The kind of spot where you expect a solid beer and maybe some decent bar food. What you don't expect? One of the best Detroit-style pizzas of your life hiding behind a window in the back like some carb-based speakeasy. And when I say hidden, I mean hidden. No flashy signage. No "best pizza in town" ego. Just a quiet little window cranking out square pies that deserve a standing ovation. I ordered the classic red top -- already a bold move -- and added pesto because balance matters and I like to live a little. The result? Beyond reproach. Fresh, loaded toppings. Sauce with depth. And that crust... that beautiful Detroit crust. Crispy edges with that caramelized cheese halo, but still chewy and pillowy inside. The textural contrast is what separates amateurs from legends -- and this? This was legend-level execution. Easily top 3 Detroit-style pizzas I've had. And that's not a casual statement. If you don't understand the life-altering power of true Detroit-style pizza, I regret to inform you... you have not been living. Go find the window in the back. Trust me.

When I arrived around 10pm on a Sunday night, the place looked like it was in transition to closing (chairs flipped over on tables, no patrons, staff members watching TV in empty booths). However, I was welcomed in to order by the friendly woman at the counter. She answered a few of my questions and when I asked what her favorite was, she immediately said, "Buckeye Garlic Pizza." I took her advice and was also able to add up to three toppings at no additional charge (mushroom, olive and sausage). I took a seat and waited about 10 minutes for my personal 10" pie, which came out hot and with a friendly, "Thank You, Sweetie." I ran the pie back to my hotel and opened up the box. The pie looked amazing. Perfectly crispy outer crust, six cheeses and garlic, along with my toppings. The pie was pretty damn good, with steam coming off the top. The six-cheese blend was interesting, with the dominant flavors being American and Cheddar. The sausage, olives and mushrooms were all fresh and plentiful. Definitely a good option to satisfy my hunger for a late night pizza in Downtown Columbus.
