This pizza is PHENOMENAL. Italian Sub was Good. Pricing is fair for portion & quality! My first time and definitely won't be my last. We got a large meat lovers and an Italian sub. Pizza is thin and cooked perfectly, hearty amount of tasty sauce, toppings are top tier with JUICY Italian sausage, fresh LEGIT bacon crumbles & pepperoni is on a DONATOS level, with pieces of ham that are not slimy or seem to have been frozen. Plenty of toppings. The sub would be top quality if it had a flavor to the bread, maybe a garlic butter on top or even cheese and be toasted. MORAL OF STORY my family will be back & we will be telling EVERYONE about this pizzeria. read more

Decent pizza if you like your sauce thick n sweet. Pepperoni not spicy just normal. The cheese itself doesn't have a deep cheese flavor. The crust is decent. The Italian subs were not as good as the Big Don from Donato. Most of the flavor is from the Italian dressing. Just ok. read more

I called padova pizza at 9:50pm 1/5/24 to place an order for a medium pep. a lady answered the phone and was completely and blatantly disrespectful and arrogant.. she answered the phone telling me its about 10-10:30 and your trying to place an order... I said it's not even 10pm yet and you guys don't close until 11pm?? she cut me off mid sentence to say well go ahead order then.. I proceeded to order but she was so rude in her tone and how she was speaking me and my fiancé were utterly speechless because we order here all the time and never received this treatment so obviously she's new. FIRE her because she just lost you guys a frequent some customers! never eating here again. read more

So I've been doing the low carb diet for over a year now and last night I decided to have a "cheat" night. I have no regrets in choosing Padova's as my cheat meal! They have an awesome pizza recipe. The sauce has a sweetness to it and their sausage has got just the right amount of spice. I am typically not a fan of sausage on my pizza but their sausage recipe is delicious! The only reason they didn't get 5 stars was that the crust on the center pieces was not as crispy as I thought it should have been. But if crisping the center pieces means the outer pieces change texture or consistency then I would keep it as is. And as I sat in the car waiting for my husband to get the pizza... I noticed that there is a Donatos's pizzeria just 4 doors down from them. It says a lot that a mom and pop place can stay in business with a big box store only a few doors down! This is a special place and I would highly recommend them to anyone. read more

I was pretty hesitant about ordering just because the reviews didn't seem that great. However, I decided to order anyways! The gentlemen at the counter when I picked up were really nice ! I ordered a medium pepperoni with an order of their pizza rolls. The pizza rolls are FRIED !!! I was happily surprised by this !! The sauce on the pizza was good! We just bought our first house near here. Neighbors have repeatedly recommended this place so we gave it a try over the weekend. It's always a little scary trying a new restaurant but we absolutely loved it!! The thin crust is crunchy but not obnoxious. The sauce is so good it reminds me of my Italian grandmother's recipe and the toppings are delicious! So thrilled to be able to support a family business that's also so convenient for us. I like to support local businesses when possible, and tonight I decided to give Padova's a try. I ate there a few times before back in early 2000's when I lived near there. Obviously it's under new ownership but still has the same great prices. I ordered a xlarge pepp pizza and 2 Italian subs. The pizza is ok, not the best I have had but for the price it's decent. The Italian subs were ok, but could have been great if they weren't soaked in Italian dressing. If I go back I may try a pizza with more toppings, and the sub minus the dressing. I will say they were super busy, so there are people who love their food. read more

Great mom and pop pizza joint on the east side! Made exactly how Midwestern style pizza should be. Plenty of cheese and tons of toppings. The crust is your thin to medium midwest style baked 'just' under being solidly crunchy if that makes sense. 5 star except for the area is a tad iffy, but kudos to the owners for staying true to their roots. read more

With donatos and anges pizza in close proximity this is definitely your best bet. Old world pepperonis that curl up. Amazing subs at a great price. Sauce is not too sweet. Not a huge delivery area but i wouldnt recommend delivery anyways because the wait time is usually long. Call in. Because it gets hot in there in the summertime. You dont want to dine in even though that is an available option. It will takr away from your experience. Pretty good prices. This is amazing pizza for carryout. Best in the area read more

Horrible customer service and average pizza. I went to pickup my pizza last night, and the guy behind the counter gets my pizza, rings it up and tells me to "slide my card". So I do while he turns around continuing to make pizzas. The message on the credit card reader says "Processing", so I figure he needs to finish the transaction. I grab his attention by saying "Are we good?", because I believe he needs to complete the transaction and give me a receipt. He comes back to the counter and realizes he put the total for my 1 large pizza as $2.05... his mistake and I hadn't noticed. However, he seems to blame me by saying "Whoa, it's not $2.05. You didn't pay for this pizza, we aren't 'good!'". So he rings up the correct charge of $16.95. I slide my card again, it processes, he throws the receipt on my pizza box and says "Don't ever try that again buddy!". I say nothing, turn around with people behind me and he calls me a "Cock sucker" . Like I was trying to steal the pizza, when he was the one who rang it up wrong. The only thing I said to him besides my order, was "Are we good?". I'm not an aggressive person so I just walked out and said nothing else to him. Now I got 2 charges from Padova - one for a $16.95 pizza and a $2.05 charge because some guy can't do his job. And I'm the "cock sucker". Never going back. read more

Tried this today was not good... the lady at the front who took my order was very nice even tho she stated they we short staffed.... when I went to pick up the small pep I order a rude man with an accent tossed the pizza on the counter... got the pizza home opened the box it looked ok but dident taste that great why does the flavor of the sauce over power the tasteless pepperoni and the cheese was not real cheese more like the kind u get from Lil Caesar where in the world did they find TASTELESS pepperoni..1st and last time for this place!!..also the place is not to clean very dusty... Hidden GEM!! I am telling you you would not expect pizza of this caliber in this part of town but it is absolutely worth the trip to eat their pies. Very reasonable priced. I learned this place has been in business for a long time. That is for a reason and it shows. They know what they're doing. It's a shame more people do not know about Padova's. Glad I made the drive from Canal to order a pizza. I will be coming here again. read more

This is probably on of our favorite pizza places in Columbus! They are different than all the chains. Ingredients are fresh and in generous portions. will never order from Padovas again!!!! i had a missed call from the shop so i called backed the person on the phone talked over me saying the pizza was on the way and they didn't call. ten minutes later another call. apparently my neighbor accepted the pizza and driver thought it was paid for by credit card. owner claims he can't control my neighbors or his driver. when asked what they would do to make this right best he could do was free 2 liter. read more

I am going to start out by saying i have eaten this pizza for years. The last few times i have observed a few things that have made me take my business elsewhere and question the quality of the food and environment. The owner is not very nice to his employees patronizing and correcting them in front of customers, if you walk to the far left of the counter you can see the girl sometimes a guy making subs without any gloves. I have also smelled a strong order of cigarette smoke twice that was so strong it overpowered the smell of pizza. Working in the food industry for quite sometime these are very concerning observations. Be careful. read more

It ended up soft, almost soggy, and the cheese was baked onto the bread rather than being a dip. The whole appeal of the dish was supposed to be the warm bread with the roasted cheese to dip into, and that part was completely missing. Included with the bread was a hot honey that missed the mark on being "hot" and some kind of jam. These options just made everything even more soft....which should have been impossible. The salad was actually the best part of the meal - even though it was a bit spicy. I've always had good experiences here in the past, so this was a big letdown--especially for the price. I just wish the to-go version of the dish matched how it's described, or that expectations were set correctly when ordering. Unfortunately, this experience made me lose all trust in ordering from here again. I can't believe we waited until exactly 3pm (when they opened) to order this.... At the very least the pizza should have been hot.

The pie looked amazing. Perfectly crispy outer crust, six cheeses and garlic, along with my toppings. The pie was pretty damn good, with steam coming off the top. The six-cheese blend was interesting, with the dominant flavors being American and Cheddar. The sausage, olives and mushrooms were all fresh and plentiful. Definitely a good option to satisfy my hunger for a late night pizza in Downtown Columbus.

There were plenty of mushrooms, and the pizza had just the right balance of spice and sweetness. I really appreciated how they baked it; there was no undercooked dough at all. The cheese melted perfectly with just a slight char, and the sauce had a wonderful sweetness that reminded me of Columbus-style pizza. The crust was thin but not overly crispy; it had a nice bite and chew without being too thick. For a Saturday night, the dining area wasn't crowded, and our server was quick and friendly.
