    Hummus! The bomb!!
    Tracy G.

Food was great! The hummus was garlicky goodness with flash fried, seasoned pita which frankly was a brilliant way to present this. My S.O. had the pork tenderloin kabobs that was flavorful and tender. I had the kafta and the chicken kabab..although the kafta was not really a traditional kabob..both were tasty and moist and tender! The young lady who waited on us was friendly and attentive. If I'm ever passing through again, we will definitely come back.

Easy to find on the end of a little group of store across from Conewago Elementary. Plenty of parking. Thanks to Sam and Grace for the awesome beef kabob lunch finished off with a baklava for desert. Service was quick and both Sam and Grace are incredibly friendly.

Came by the Firepit by chance and had a really nice lunch. If you're looking for a good dip and bread, highly recommend the hummus. It is one of the best my husband and I have had. The shawarma chicken wrap and Greek salad with grilled chicken are also good Chicken has a nice flavor and is not dried out!

Service and food was excellent. The onion rings where delicious and I really enjoyed my lamb sewer. My husband got the cheesesteak and said it was really good. The restaurant is family owned and a daughter was our waitress. She was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back the next time we're in town.

    Lasagna and Firepit Special sub

Owner seated us, very nice lady. Took a little while for the food to come out but was there catching up with an old friend so it was ok. They are a scratch kitchen also. Food was good, I really liked the lasagna. The sub was good but looking forward to trying an Italian from there. Pizza had plenty of meat but the crust was different than what I'm used too, not bad but just different. Tried the baklava for dessert it was good. Would eat here again if I'm in the area.

Quality of pizza is poor. Quality of all food in general is subpar. For the price, food here is definitely not worth it. I've given them a couple chances and I'm left utterly disappointed. I ordered mushrooms on my pizza; they definitely came from a can. When I called to ask if they used fresh mushrooms they said yes, and I was so excited, yet here I sit with gross, soggy mushrooms that have clearly sat in a can full of salty water for years. Is this a joke?! It was the worst bite of pizza I ever had. I felt cheated. The pepperoni tasted decent but the appearence of the cheese separating made me realize it's not good quality cheese, and the crust was tasteless. I rather get a oven ready pizza at Aldi's, a local supermarket. I've had a gyro here with fries. While somewhat tasty, albeit because I was too hungry to complain, the price was high for the amount of food and quality. I also tried a dessert here - baklava (a Mediterranean dessert made with pistachio, Phyllis dough, and honey). It tasted like they added more syrup/white sugar and less honey. A method commonly used to cut down costs and decrease the value of food. I've had better gyros, pizza, fries, and baklava elsewhere. I've concluded that the quality of ingredients is inferior, it's probably all saturated with cheap, bad fats and very little nutrition. You will definitely gain weight eating here. I really wanted to like this place because the owners were very nice people but I have to say that I think they are more concerned about profit than bringing good quality food to this neighborhood. They once told me they had very authentic food but had to modify some things to satisfy the popular palate. I'm taking a stand to say this food isn't good enough for me. And shouldn't be for you either. Small town, Pennsylvania - this is a wake up call - we need to stand up and grow up and know to recognize the good and reject the bad!

Love this place!! Don't pass up the chance to eat here! Absolutely everything is wonderful! The service was great, the dining area beautiful and impeccably clean and the food was spectacular! We love supporting locally owned family businesses. We are definitely going back and taking friends!!

If you love large portions and hot yummy food I highly recommend it if you have time. The only issue I have here is this place NEEDS a proper staff. I really do like the folks they run the joint. But the service is inconsistent at best from visit to visit and even on a slow day with an empty dining space it can take a while to get served. Knowing that we went in today not expecting much more than large tasty portions. We took the whole family as a good bye brunch as my oldest his partner who we're visiting with my grandson. Im not sure what happened today but the single little old lady who runs the front was all over the place. She was polite and professional but you could tell she was overwhelmed. It took quite a while to get menus and waters then quite a while longer than that to get to order. She took the order and then we waited. And waited and waited. As we waited the littles started to devolve. And then, we waited some more. From the moment we sat down to the time food arrived was about an hour and a half. By then the kids were done. My wife was done and I was done. The food was hot. Some under cooked and my meal was missing the main component. That mouth watering and coma inducing pastrami. All said and done it was one of the worst dining experiences I've had. No one was happy when we left. And that's a huge bummer. The food here is too good for the experience to be so bad. There were apologies and eventually the owner came out and compensated the entire meal. But that's not a good business model. Will I go back? Absolutely. They could cuss me out and I'd go buy the pastrami even if it fell on the floor. It's that good. But I probably won't ever go back with the kids. They don't have the stamina for it and we really have enough time to truly enjoy it as we would like to.

The earliest it would allow was 11:45 AM. At around 3 o'clock that afternoon, I called and explained That I needed to pick up the order by 1115 the next day and could I give the order verbally on the phone. The person that answered the phone said yes. I gave him our order which was five sandwiches and salads and told him I would see him tomorrow. His reaction was tomorrow? Yes, I need to pick it up at 11:15 AM tomorrow. I asked if that would be a problem and was told no. I decided to call in the morning to confirm that they had my order and that it would be ready at 11:15. They answered the phone at 11 o'clock and after a few minutes, the hostess said that yes they had the order. I told her I would see her soon. When I got there at 11:15, the order wasn't ready and she did not have anything in her computer so I had to verbally give her the order again so she could ring it up for me. The order was not ready until approximately 11:40 AM. This was 40 minutes after I called to verify that they had the order and then it would be ready and about 20 minutes after I needed it to be ready as my lunch appointment began at 11:30 and I had a 15 minute drive. When the hostess finally gave me our food, I asked if there were utensils inside to which she replied, yes. I got to the office and there were no utensils and my salad had no dressing. Eating lettuce, cucumbers and cabbage without dressing is not very appealing. I enjoyed the chili. It was flavorful and had a good temperature. I will need to eat my salad when I get home and could get some dressing. It looks like a fun restaurant for seafood and craft beers and the bar look like it would be a great place to sit on a Friday night, but I was disappointed in the service I received for the lunch order.
