We've been going to Riverside Pizzeria in Belcamp for years now, and it has truly never disappointed us. The food is always fresh, delicious, and the portions are huge. You definitely get your money's worth here. Whether it's their crispy chicken tenders and fries or one of their amazing subs, everything tastes made to order and consistent every single time. I can honestly say they have never gotten our order wrong, which is rare these days. We usually do pickup and even on weekends the wait is typically around 15 minutes, which is impressive. The staff is always fast and friendly, and the whole process is smooth. When we've eaten inside, I've always loved the old school pizzeria vibes. It just feels comfortable and classic. This unassuming pizzeria has the best crab cakes I've ever had. These cakes have the largest chunks of crab meat mixed with a light soufflé-like binder. The cost of ~$25 per 8oz crab cake seems out of place in your average pizzeria, but know that they are worth it. This is the third time I've ever been to Riverside but it has become a sought after stop of mine when driving through the area. If you go here for anything, it's the crab pretzel! That was my favorite dish! It's counter service so you must order on your own. They do get the food out to you quickly. It has cool sports memorabilia on the side of the restaurants with the booths but it wasn't my favorite place. It's pretty old and dated on the inside. Great place for a quick snack but I thought it was a bit pricey. It seems like a good idea for lunch or a quick dinner and I would definitely have the crab pretzel again! read more

I am very disappointed with my order tonight. I ordered a jr. crab cake sub and the add-ons were half added. The chicken cheese steak was prepared incorrectly. I've been ordering this crab cake sub from this restaurant for years. This was the worst it's ever been. The person taking the order obviously wasn't paying attention. After reading previous reviews, I decided to go with crab options. The crab pretzel is AMAZING. Since living on the east coast I have tried eating Maryland crab dishes expecting something wow and getting disappointed. But this, this is it! The pretzel is a large pretzel topped with their crab cake mixture. It is soft creamy and just the wow I was not expecting from a pizzeria. I also ordered the 3 stuffed shrimp. I live in NJ. I visit Maryland pretty often and have their food often. The menu price in the large pizza that's on Yelp is wrong, it's not $12.95, it's $14.95. You can sign up for a membership on their site to get discounts and a present for your birthday. They get busy! If you order for pickup, don't be distracted by the people who are waiting for their food. Make sure to go to the counter, let them know you're picking up and pay. I've tried the pizza, mozz sticks, & sweet potato fries. Everything was good but not remarkable. They say that NJ pizza is better because of the crust, but honestly, I wasn't impressed with the cheese or sauce either, but it was fine. I hear good things about the cannoli & cheesecake! I've had their food a handful of times and have no complaints. I go here because it's convenient. If you're in the area, the food is decent. read more

We have been customers here for about 15 years. We placed our order online and they called with a question about our order. They said it would be ready in a "two minutes." My husband arrived, and our food wasn't ready. We ordered about 50 minutes prior. Confused there was a mix up, I called. The girl who answered asked me to hold. I said I had a quick question. She waited, I started to ask, and then she put me on hold anyway. Then we were disconnected. Had they not called me 25 minutes earlier and said our food was ready, I would have waited on hold like everyone else has to. I called back, and I was treated exactly the same. Again, I have no expectation of being served first, but don't call me, tell me it's ready only to have my husband wait there for another 35 minutes. And then to be ignored when I call? No. Our order was very simple, and at this point, it has been over an hour. We paid and tipped in advance, expecting the same courtesy. Too bad we didn't receive it. Had my husband's boss came over for dinner yesterday to celebrate the company, so we thought Riverside pizzeria would be awesome to order from since they were from out of town. Order at 6:53pm , food came with No fries for the platters but the problem came when we called back to make them aware of it. The lady on the had issues that was far from normal after we spent over $100 plus tip, it definitely shouldn't have been that much of a problem. Then she stated they will send the fries when a driver is available so I made them some mac/ cheese and kale greens with cornbread. The fries arrived at 8:10 only to be put on the fridge. I placed an order online Dec 3, 2024 for a few things to pick up on my way home. They made quite possibly the worst pizza I ever ate. It was a small pepperoni pizza and the crust was perfectly round with a perfectly formed edge, which screamed to me that it wasn't hand made. It was super greasy on the bottom and top. I had also ordered a club sandwich for which I included special instructions for what ingredients we specifically wanted, but these directions were not followed. The only things I ordered that were decently prepared were the chicken tenders platter and fried mushrooms. Before tip, the total was $56.25. Tried the place out for lunch and was disappointed. The seating area is in need of an update and looks like it hasn't had any changes since the place opened. The sound level of the kitchen makes it almost unbearable to eat at the restaurant. The clanging of metal spatulas on the grill while they make steak and cheese is constant and extremely loud making it difficult to even have a conversation with someone sitting right next to you. I ordered an Italian sub and it was terrible in terms of taste, quality, value and engineering. When making it, they open the sub roll, lay it out flat then put the ingredients on both sides of the roll making it impossible to close it in order to pick it up to eat it....who does that? Chuck E. Cheese has better quality pizza. Crust is dry and flavorless. Sauce nonexistent and cheese run of the mill. Worse than that is the fact that I waited 12 minutes in an empty restaurant for someone to get a slice from the case and throw it in the oven and box it. At least 5 people were just standing around doing nothing. Pre-sauced pies dubiously sitting out in the open by the front door. Always was curious about this place since I come out here regularly for business. Good to put something in your stomach for the hour trip back home. Won't be back. read more

2nd experience. Came in for lunch and saw spanakopita on the menu and immediately asked if they made it or if it was a SYSCO product...housemade, so of course I had to go there. It was ok. The serving size was two-meals-big along with a healthy size Greek salad. The price for the portion was good. This place, first of all, allows dine-in. So, we were all in at that anomaly. I'm not sure any place could be as busy as they were. Because of this, the food was a little slow. We had a 16" pepperoni pizza, and it may or may not have been the best pizza I have had in a long long time. The pepperoni was actually peppery. And with the amount of pepperoni and cheese that this pizza had, it was just as greasy as you want it to be. The cost...for the pizza and 2 large re-fillable drinks came in at $16.00. Loved the delivery! It took longer than an hour to arrive however-but they did take 10$ off and gave us a free rice pudding. The Greek salad was great-loved the dressing. The employees are always a pleasure. My only complaint is whenever the owner is around he is rude to customers and sometimes loudly disrespectful to his employees. We ordered two dinners anyway- garlic bread, cole slaw, fries... $67. Lots of staff are behind the counter, but only a couple work and the rest stand around and talk and do nothing. We have to go up and ask where are our dinners. They say one plate which has been sitting out with 2 crab cakes 4 crackers and one tiny cole slaw container is our dinner! The manager argues with me! that most couples just share one plate, someone forgot the fries, someone is only a teenager. Ridiculous. I talked to a local friend- her sister got the same bad quality.
