I don't usually review chain/fast food restaurants, but since this is the first Cava in Indiana, I figured I could make an exception. Concept-wise, Cava is basically Chipotle with Greek food; but UNLIKE Chipotle, the vegetables are actually fresh, and they actually refill the ingredients. Unfortunately, the staff is basically the same as Chipotle. I know it's a newer restaurant and most of the workers are young adults, but based on my experience, it seemed like not a single person on staff had any clue what they were doing. If you are craving Cava but don't want to endure their less-than-stellar customer service, I recommend just ordering pickup or delivery. I couldn't believe how much I loved the food at Cava! I had a BYO Pita with steak, tzatziki, cucumbers, onions, and tomatoes. Everything was delicious and so fresh, but the real star of the show was the pita chips. I wasn't completely on board with paying extra for the pita chips, but after trying them, I would've paid way more than the asking price! They were so fluffy and were topped with a unique blend of seasoning. Most chips are merely a vessel for dips, but these chips stand out on their own! Finally, when you go to Cava, don't forget about the drinks! This isn't your average soda fountain: Cava serves "Maine and Root" brand drinks that come in unique flavors like black cherry, Mexican cola, and blueberry. However, my personal favorite is the strawberry citrus juice! It's their signature drink for a reason! To really elevate the flavor, I suggest adding a splash of the lime cucumber mint juice on top. If I was judging based just off of taste, Cava would have full marks. But due to their subpar service, I had to dock a star. read more

Walked in, and walked OUT! It's 77 degrees outside, and the temperature in the very stuffy restaurant was at least 85 degrees - waited two minutes in line and there was no way I could withstand waiting in line, waiting for my food eating inside. No A/C? Sad, because I have been to Cava in many other places, and love it and was looking forward to my first visit at the one here at home. I can't shout loud enough how Yummy GOOD this place is. Wowzers! So So yummy and bursting with flavor! The line was pretty long at lunch time (to be expected) yet it was easy to decide how to order based on the overhead menu options. The menu options described very well what was included for each bowl or dish. Today they were out of the steak which my daughter wanted, but she opted for honey chicken instead. I ordered the Spicy Lamb + Avocado (out of avocado ) yet I opted to add corn salsa. The Lamb meatballs were really spicy and perfectly seasoned. I love the yellow & Black logo quite attractive. My husband picked up Cava tonight for dinner and we got two bowls and opted for the complimentary pita, pita chips, and a side of hummus too. Everything was absolutely excellent--the flavors were phenomenal. I can totally understand why this has been viral on TikTok for years now. As a vegetarian, there were plenty of ways to create your own dinner. My toddler LOVED the pita and hummus so we will definitely be trying out a kids meal next time too. Epic Fail! This is my second attempt to eat at Cava in Fishers. We moved to Indy from another area that had Cava and we were huge fans, even altering our routes on trips if there was one nearby. This location has failed miserably on delivering a positive customer experience. Twice we have driven 30 min from Indy to Fishers just to stand in line for an hour to be told they were "out of almost everything "! The staff could at least have the courtesy to post a sign at the door and let customers know instead of waiting for them to get to the counter to order. I don't know if it is supply issues outside of Cava's control, or just poor planning on Cava's part. Whatever the reason, Cava has missed the mark on making a good first impression in Indiana. There are too many other great places to eat to be disappointed like this, not once but twice! I won't be making the effort again. Take my advice and go grab a taco at Torchy's or a bowl at BIBIBOP, you won't wait an hour and they will appreciate you as a customer. read more

This is a new location, so an enthusiastic crowd and learning curve for staff is to be expected. We waited in line for an hour, and when we took our place in line, we were still able to step inside the restaurant. The line moved very slowly. My friend who has been to other locations said she usually gets through in ten minutes, even on a busy day. By the time we left, the line was backed out the door and down the sidewalk. The food was good, and fresh, and the price was reasonable. Much better than any other fast food options. I don't think it was worth the wait, and it was not pleasant to eat in the midst of so many people waiting in line I will try it again when the hype dies down. By then, I hope staff will have the hang of things. I felt bad for them. They were still learning and very stressed. We were surprised that the company didn't seem to send in people from corporate to open the place; we did not think there was a manager on sight I wish them well, and will go back. But this was not a good first impression. If you want to give them a try, I advise waiting awhile. If you see a line out the door, know that you will be waiting for a long time, eating at a dirty table with a long line snaking through the restaurant. read more
