I was at a conference at the AMP and ordered lunch from Yamallama on the first day. The setup here is really cool. It's mostly grab and go sandwiches and salad, but they also have soup and a great selection of paninis that the staff will press while you wait. I opted for the grilled cheese panini and tomato soup and both were delicious and ready quickly, despite it being a busy day. I already wrote a review about how obsessed I am with their chicken pesto panini, but I need to write again now that I've tried more. I looooove their tangerine tomato soup, falafel bowl, and taco bowl. Last week, I asked an employee which item on the menu is her favorite and she said the curry cauliflower bowl, so I ordered it. I CANNOT EXPLAIN how delicious it was. I got the tahini dressing and opted to add on pulled chicken for $5 and have not gone a day without thinking about it. The curry cauliflower bowl has: curry roasted cauliflower, golden raisins, cashews, pickled red onions, crispy chickpeas, and artisan lettuce blend. I know it sounds healthy and I don't care if you don't even like curry... you will LOVE THIS. I want it for every lunch for the rest of my life and I'm already planning my next visit to The AMP so I can get my hands on it. Order it. The only turmoil I now feel is the stress of wanting to try everything on the menu but not wanting to *not* order this bowl. Take one look at their menu and you'll be so impressed. I mean... they have an "everything bagel caesar" dressing. How delicious and creative is that? They have sandwiches, salads, warm bowls, soups, desserts, and more. Everything is colorful, fresh, and delicious. Thank you so much @Yamallama for being incredible. I saw that you now sell your bowls at Dream Palace Cafe too and I hope to see Yamallama meal options at many more coffee shops, stores, and cafes around town. I'll buy one every time I see one!!! Yamallama in the AMP16 food hall was a pleasant surprise for me. First of all, I kept missing them with me always circling the outer perimeter, they're located behind the boba tee/bagel place. I'm so glad I had an opportunity to try the out. My son introduced their Cobb salad and I was instantly hooked! He let me try it on Friday and had to wait until Monday to try a whole thing myself-as they are closed on the weekends. Let me tell you! It was worth the wait. An arugula blend base topped with tomatoes, blue cheese crumbles, chicken, and bacon-its a familiar mix. For me it was the Everything Bagel salad dressing that really took this to the next level. I've been wanting to try this place for a long time, and I'll admit it's was for the most part because of llama in the name. When I was over at the amp for work, I decided to pick up a bowl to bring back to the office for lunch and I decided on the Levantine bowl. It was very tasty! It had such a fresh variety of ingredients, it came with eggplant, cucumber, tomatoes, and falafel. This was all on a bed of a variety of greens. If you try this bowl, make sure to combine the dill and taziki. An awesome flavor combo! Can't wait to get back here to try some more delicious food. read more

We stopped at AMP for the winters farmers market. We grabbed a snack here because their paninis sounded interesting. I got the roast beef panini for $13. It was good, but underwhelming. It was small and I just wasn't impressed with the roast beef or the flavors. The roast beef was dry. It was something that I could easily make at home. The owner of the Yamallama Delicatessen is an awesome lady--that is reason enough alone to go! I held an event of 100+ people and she catered the cutest snacketizers for the events. The display was beautiful and the attendees loved it! They were super easy to work with and gave great catering recommendations (which is helpful for clueless people like me). Out of all the places in the Amp, this is one of the few places where you can get something that is not deep fried and feels like a healthy choice. I love the Great Farro Salad! We ordered lunch for a group and had it delivered via Door Dash; I usually try to avoid that, but our timeline was such that we just couldn't manage pick up. Anyway, the food arrived in excellent condition, and we all enjoyed our food a great deal. I had the roasted sweet potato bowl which included salad greens, brown rice, chickpeas and pickled onion. This is an unassuming cold sandwich shop in The AMP, but they sometimes have otheritema. Like pozole. Yum. It's hard to find pozole in Indianapolis, so I order it whenever I see it. The green version here is interesting and quite good. It's a little pricey for the small bowl you get, but I wouldn't hesitate to order it the next time I see it here. read more

I've eaten several times at the Kitchen location at 30th and Meridian (in the building just south of the Children's Museum). SO good every single time. My absolute favorite is the Roasted Sweet Potato salad with brown rice, chickpeas, pickled onions on artisan lettuce (or as my husband calls it -- dandelion weeds) with the house-made tomato vinaigrette salad dressing. The prices are reasonable and the staff is always super friendly. They offer grab-and-go options, but I always order mine fresh. I have been meaning to check out their location at Bottleworks for quite some time so I was delightfully surprised to see they have a location at The Amp during a visit last week. I'm still thinking about my delicious salad and it's been five days. Note that if you're in a hurry, they offer several grab and go salads and drinks. I opted for the Mediterranean-esqe salad filled with kale, spinach, artichokes, shave parmesan, kalamata olives, homemade croutons and a delicious dill vinaigrette. Once I hit the bottom of the salad, I added more spinach from home because I didn't want the flavors to be over - it was so good! I also thought it was priced fairly for $12 for the ingredients featured. I'll definitely be back for more rounds of this salad (and to try the others). I also noticed that they had two soups on the menu so I look forward to trying those down the line as well. Hot take- this is the best spot for food in the AMP and I will fight you if you disagree. I think the caprese sandwich on focaccia has been my favorite but I have been working my way thru the menu, all of the salads and bowls have been great too. A wide variety of healthy and comfort foods like the walking taco bowl. Check out the lemon cookie also, you won't regret it. I happened to be at the AMP and decided to try the Yamallama deli. I wanted a salad and they had several great options. I went for the greek salad and it was excellent. Note you can add a variety of proteins to the salads but on this occasion I just wanted the salad. The salad was very fresh and had the expected variety of greek items in it like olives and feta cheese. The homemade dressing offers many choices but I choose the tzatziki dressing which was very good too. This location features a variety of ready made foods so it is a quick choice if your in a hurry. read more

Although they are a new business in the AMP, with just a few tweaks and some extended hours, I could raise my rating here. Although I have only tried one meal, I have stopped by several times, but due to limited staffing or some other reason, the shop was closed when I stopped by. Not a good thing when you are trying to draw in customers. I would consider this one of the healthier options to grab lunch with mostly ready to go bowls, sandwiches, and hopefully coming soon, Bento boxes. If I understood properly, they are having packing problems on the Bento boxes so that they travel well. MY first choice was a Napa Bento, but when I was informed that they didn't have any because of the non-food issue, the staff was helpful and recommended the Roma bowl and even suggested which dressing might taste best from about a dozen choices of sauces/dressings which you can see listed on a small blackboard at the counter. The wait time was minimal and when offered a small bag to haul all my lunch and beverages, I was soon on my way. Napkins and plasticware were included. My wife and I decided to eat inside the spacious food hall which wasn't too loud during lunch time. Expect to have to bus your own table since I didn't notice any "AMP" staff walking around the food court to assist. There did seem to be quite a few trash bins around the perimeter for easy disposal of your trash. The restrooms are close by on the north end, so washing up before and after eating was easy too. I hope they get the problems with the bento boxes solved soon since they sounded like an option I would likely return for. Still waiting on the parking garage to be added on the back side of the building. Finding parking is hit or miss unless you have a specific app on your phone that lets you pay for short term. Having been wanting to visit The Amp for some time, this gloomy December day finally got me there and what a treat. The 2 women running the place were so helpful and friendly. I chose the El Classico panini opting for something warm on a cold day. Delicious house made bread with eggplant, artichoke, cheese--yummy! She recommended the tomato tangerine soup to accompany and it hit the mark. So many other options on their menu sounded great not to mention the other vendors in their shipping container shops! I took my dad to The Garage so we both had tons of options for dinner. We both were visiting Indy for a concert (and I used to live in Indy). First off, I love The Garage as a whole, but Yamallama is new since the last time I was there a year or so ago. It has many great options on the menu. My dad and I both got salads from there. I had the curry cauliflower salad with chicken and with tahini vinaigrette. My dad got the Yama Cobb with blue cheese dressing. All the dressings are homemade. We both loved our salads, and they were quite large portions which is even better. Mine was very fresh and delicious, and you can tell the ingredients were intentional. The person working (not sure if he is the owner) was very kind and accommodating. He knew exactly what was in his food which is much appreciated due to my need to avoid dairy/eggs. That is not always the case at many places. I'm sure their sandwiches/paninis are amazing as well. I would definitely go back if at The Garage and think it fills a role that no other place there did prior to its establishment in The Garage. read more

Original location is in AMP food hall with new location in garage at bottleworks. The bottleworks location has expanded menu options. Will say that the quality of food is high with locally sourced ingredients and nuanced flavors featured in classic more bland types of dishes. For example, the tomato soup is actually a tomato tangerine soup. This does not sound much different but my oh my it makes a world of difference. I do not like tomato soup, but this is one of my favorite soups in the city. Such a nice tanginess to it with house croutons adding more depth and substance. Another example would be the sandwiches. Again, not a sandwich lover but the combination of one of their sandwiches with the tomato tangerine soup makes my mouth water. Their Italian sandwich is usually my go to. It is well worth the visit and is best option in AMP and up there with the best at the higher quality and more diverse garage food hall. read more

I ordered the salad with falafal and the chicken wrap. Both were delicious. I also ordered a strawberry/ Greek yogurt/ granola dessert. Unfortunately I couldn't eat it I had asked if it had chocolate in the granola because it looked really dark and I was told no I asked 2 more times and was told there's no chocolate in it so I bought it but it was chocolate. I felt so disappointed and that I had wasted my money on something I couldn't eat especially after asking about it 3 times. read more
