The pita bread was not fresh. The hummus was over mixed and tasted a little processed, too smooth for me, and could use more tahini maybe some lemon and garlic. The rice was boring and the cucumber mixed salad that comes with it tasted like it had been sitting around a while, which surprised me considering that I was there at lunch time. The lamb was okay but not spectacular or as juicy as I had hoped, and the portion size was a little small. I felt the price was good and the atmosphere was fine but yes, a little disappointed in the food. I'd probably try again because they could have just been having an off day. If I go back and it's better I'll update my review. I wish them luck because we do need more healthy food options in this town.

It was their very first time trying Mediterranean food, and they absolutely loved it! We started with two different types of hummus served with pita. The hummus was incredibly flavorful, and the pita was exceptionally fresh. We also ordered the falafel, which was perfectly prepared and delicious. For the main course, we shared the Chicken Shish Taouk with sides of beet salsa and Lebanese potatoes--everything was cooked beautifully and tasted amazing. Honestly, the highlight of the meal for us was the drinks. The mint juice and beet juice were so refreshing and easily the best part! We finished our meal with baklava and basbousa for dessert, and both were fresh, sweet, and incredibly tasty. Beyond the fantastic food, the ambiance is very neat and clean, and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. I brought some home to my family because they sell tubs of hummus to go (for a similar price to what you could get at HEB, actually, and much better) and they ate it all within minutes. Just last week I ordered a lamb kebab plate. Folks, be prepared if you order this. This meal is HUGE. The lamb was heavenly, and I was really happy that they grilled the kebabs with some onions and peppers, really added flavor. The kebabs are made to order, so they're always fresh. The hummus, baba ganoush, garlic sauce, eggplant salad (delish) and pita were all excellent. Get one of their family packs - and try it all of the kabobs plus cold appetizers. This place is a gem. I am beyond excited it's so close to us.
