It took longer to find a place to park than it did to order and eat our food. No Valet service available. We asked the server behind the register where they park and she smiled and said "right out front.....it's early when we get here". I love the Cava concept but I will not go to this location again. I don't eat here enough. CAVA is a fast casual Mediterranean place, similar to a chipotle style setup. There's a ton of proteins and toppings available and the hardest part is to refrain from just piling on everything they offer. My first wrap was overflowing and kinda too messy to eat because I went overboard, but the second time I came back I edited down my toppings and thoroughly enjoyed it. Ordered for at home delivery and had no regrets, just be mindful that your greens will get a little soggy in transport, normal stuff. I really like their rightrice bowls and chicken. Their sauces are tasty and good to save for a quick at home salad since you get plenty of options, the roasted eggplant dip is amazing and must be my favorite. My family and I needed a healthy quick bite to eat, and I saw that this CAVA just opened up in Birkdale Village so we decided to stop in. The restaurant is open and has plenty of seating, including outdoor. Clean and bright. Nice modern decor with pops of yellow. We were greeted immediately and a staff member asked if we had been there before. We said no and they directed us where to go. The staff was very helpful and patient with us. We ordered the following: (2) Greens + Grains $9.37 each Mini pita + soup $7.92 (2) Watermelon Mint Juice $1.95 each So fresh, flavorful, and filling! The hubs and I loaded our bowls with various spreads and toppings. Some for an additional charge. I couldn't get enough of my bowl and surprised myself by finishing the entire thing. I've always loved this place. Good food and great location. But tonight I felt compelled to leave a review. I ordered take out from here and they forgot the pita chips. I didn't realize it until I was gone stuck in traffic while trying to pick my daughter up from dance class, meanwhile my toddler was in the backseat crying and I went to give her a pita chip to calm her down, snacks always work, but there was no pita! I called them to let them know I'd be back after picking up my daughter and the manager went above and beyond to help a stressed mother out. She apologized and gave us a gift card towards our next meal. At the end of the day it was just pita, but the thoughtfulness of a gift card for our trouble was very kind. Traffic, hungry crying kiddos and two trips to Cava was not fun, but she made it right. We will be back for sure! Thank you! read more

Just completely dazzled by this place. They've taken the best elements of the fast casual build your own meal concept, and upgraded it with fresh and unique food. Sure, you will appreciate the fact that you are eating something on the healthier side, but really, you'll appreciate it more because it's plain ol' delicious. I'm not going to describe each station along the ordering counter to you. Other folks on here have done a good job with that. I will recommend a few things to top your greens and grains bowl though. The falafel is awesome and flavorful. They are packed with whole chick peas and have a great consistency. The harissa is awesome, and spicy enough to melt your molars. The spicy apricot dressing is also great, and has just enough spice to give it some kick without overpowering that great apricot flavor. Honestly, everything I chose was great. They do it right. Get your dressing on the side. You may find that you don't even need or want it. There's already a lot of flavor here. This service team was extremely friendly too. Having never been here they walked me through the process, made suggestions, and answered questions. I was greeted when I came in and thanked when I left. They had a full time employee just in the dining areas, cleaning tables, chairs, the floor, etc. the whole time I ate there. This was all during a busy lunch time when so many places let these important details fall through the cracks. I looked them up on line and am excited to see there are also a few of these in Southern California where I live. I can't wait to go back. All three dips i.e Red pepper hummus, harissa and tzatziki were so flavourful and tasty! For once the food didn't seem bland to my Indian palate! We bought fried pita chips to go with the bowl and it was crispy and absolutely delicious. The falafel was a bit dry and chew though. I am a super fan. The fresh ingredients, the sauces, the service, and the message they send. CAVA is a Mediterranean-style Chipotle. You walk up and order the type of food you'd like. We ordered the greens and grain bowl. You can pick the protein, sauces, toppings, etc as you walk down the line. The ingredients are all fresh, and many of them are locally sourced. When you eat in store, they have many items that are reusable (including their silverware). When you order to go, their packaging is recyclable. I like that they have the option of ordering ahead of time like Panera. I haven't used this option, but I just wanted to put it out there. I've seen some reviews stating that they think it is expensive for what they got. Judging some of the pictures, I'd say they may be right! However, the greens and grains bowl in my opinion is very filling and plenty of food! I do wish they had a loyalty program, but maybe that's something they can develop in the future. read more

Really it's a combination of a couple things... One, the flavors and two, the fact that it's relatively healthy. The healthy angle comes doubly into play for me as I am NOT the healthiest eater out there by a long shot. Think more meatatarian then vegetarian as a starting point then throw in anything fried and you get the point. But the bowl I had the other day was loaded with mostly healthy ingredients and was really, really good. I say mostly healthy as I did get the spicy lamb meatballs as my protein but it was on top of a bunch of fresh spinach and had all kinds of other veg stacked on top. I just love the variety of toppings and the layers of flavor, including some heat, that you can create with your choices. I'll review again I'm sure once I go back and get more familiar with all the ingredients and options but in the meantime, consider me hooked. read more

Fresh food bursting with flavors + a super clean and modern decor with extremely friendly service. Can't really ask for anything else! Brianna and Sophia were both very helpful when answering our questions, and gave excellent recommendations. They even used their "LOVE BUTTON" on me so I got my meal for free! Never heard of any place doing something like that but I think it's brilliant, and will most definitely be a customer for life. Down the road I might even try to open one of these where I live; it's that good! :) PRO TIP: get the hummus and spreads on the side so you can try each of the flavors separately. Great and healthy option! Yes folks it CAVA and it's really really good. Most people are familiar with chipotle and their style of pick a base, and meat/ veggie and then toppings. CAVA is the Mediterranean version. Start with a pita or a veggie/ rice mix or even just rice and then add your meat or keep it vegetarian. Then you'll add humus and few topping and last but not least sauce to tie it all together. Price is just over $10 per person not including a drink and the location in birkdale has plenty of in door and out door seating with a section of covered outdoor that also has heaters for the cooler nights. Lines can get long but they move quickly and while the beef meat balls are my fav the other meat options are worth giving a try! Can't have dairy or you're living gluten free, not a problem.
