I went to CAVA for the first time today, and it was such a great experience! I almost walked out because I had no idea what to order, but the staff was incredibly helpful. They guided me through the menu, offered recommendations, and even let me sample a few things to make sure I liked them. Everyone was so kind and welcoming it was truly some of the best customer service I've experienced in a very long time. I've had a really tough week, and they have no idea how much their simple gestures meant to me. They completely turned my day around. This location sucks. My PREGNANT wife ordered takeout and when I showed up they didn't even start the order (10 minutes after ordered). I had to wait 15 minutes for them to make her bowl just to get home and see that they didn't add the 3 scoops of spreads or the 2 sauces on top. It was completely dry and disgusting and ruined her day. Thanks a lot. Wasted $13 on a bowl that we threw out. And when you try to call it's always instantly busy no matter what number you choose. The food is consistently good. The restaurant itself continues on a downward slide. Grubby tables, seating and floors are the norm. The bathrooms are disgusting. Make sure you "go" before go. You don't want to eat here if you have guests with you. Profits must be good because the owners are certainly not engaged. What a shame. read more

i wanna start off by saying my rating has nothing to do with the sweet cashier that took my order when i was here last, Emily. she was great and had an amazing attitude, but i unfortunately cant say the same for the actual food or the ambience. as soon as you walk in, you get hit with a strong stench, almost similar to rotten fish. ive heard good things about this chain so i decided to see it through and give them the benefit if the doubt. as i was ordering my food, i noticed the toppings were all at least a week overdue for a rotation. the olives were slimy, the corn had a strange green tint to it, and the feta cheese looked like blue cheese!! i asked the cashier if there was any way to have fresh toppings on my bowl, and she turned and asked who appeared to be the manager (older, heavier set white woman) and i was met with an unpleasant attitude. she told me they rotate the toppings daily and that i would have to wait if i wanted them fresh. at this point i just wanted to get out of there so i just skipped out on any toppings for my bowl. thank you again, Emily, for your exceptional customer service, but i won't be back! read more

I just moved here and love to find places that are good with allergies. I have to eat gluten-free and this place is a great option. I love some good lemonade but it's even better than that. Personally it reminded me of time in living in Europe some yrs ago! We decided to grab some lunch today at this Cava location on Sunset Blvd in Lexington. They are located where the old Zoes used to be. I really wanted to see what all the hype was about. Parking lot full and a line almost out the door for weeks. Customer service was excellent, everyone was very patient while we decided on what to order. We ordered two different bowls, everything tasted truly delicious. All the ingredients were freshly made. You have a variety of choices to create a bowl or wrap. Lots of choices for rice, beans, veggies and meats, hummus and sauces to choose from. Honestly I could have gotten my bowl without meat, all the food was seasoned well. Im in love with the black yummy lentils! We decided to get our orders to go because due to the line being so long. This was our second attempt to eat here. I liked that the menu was not hecka long, it was fairly simple. They do have fresh juices as well, maybe next time I will try one. Tip: You will have to time this right to avoid the crowds, I went approx 1pm on a Tuesday. My wait time was approx 10min, which wasnt bad at all. The food here is great, but the employees aren't very friendly. It's usually a hit or miss in portion sizes and they never include the free pita bread (even when you ask for it or order it online to go). Not sure why that's hard to get when you've ordered it. It's free so it should be automatically added to plate/meal without having to ask. We'd visit more, but the lack of friendliness and attention to orders makes this location a place we don't want to visit much. read more

We were big fans of the restaurant that used to be here and heard we should try Cava. We are glad we did. We are trying to stick to a Keto-friendly diet and this place rocks! The choices are vast and the flavors are great. My wife and I had two different varieties of the Bowls and we we both scraping the bottom of the bowl to make sure we got it all. Love Cava, eat here all the time. Food is great, but management needs to do something, and do it fast for this location. It's understaffed and undertrained. Been multiple times this month where there is a line to the door and only one person working the front line. Other Cava locations I've been to in other states, have at least three people working the front line with one person dedicated to the register. Cava has become our go to place for a dinner or lunch delivery. The food is absolutely delicious! Usually we can put in an order online via the Cava app (super easy to use with nice pictures so you have an idea of what you are getting) at say 5pm and it's at our door in 20 minutes. They have so many delicious options. You can tell they only use the best ingredients. We have also eaten lunch there and the ambiance is open, clean and inviting. You do have to wait in line and order as you go (kind of like a subway or Moe's system) but it is nice seeing all the ingredients laid out in front of you. We liked Zoe's but this is hands down a better food experience. read more

**this is for the delivery service** They use door dash, although through the Cava app select of deli instead of pick up. my experience was aweful. The app was not loading so I ordered online, then the delivery address auto polulated to the store address, when I went bacj to try to edit the only option was to add delivery "additional intructions". After putting in my address in the additional instructions area I received a notification the a "dasher" was assigned. Tried calling "David" and was hung up on 2 times. I called the 800 number for Cava delivery services who attempted to call the "dasher" and was unsuccessful. They refunded my money, but I just don understand why a "dasher " would not look at the additional instructions for delivery which is basic job expectations. I will never do this again!! Lets see if they are true to their word of refunding 100% of my money in 10-14 business days. "David" of doordash with a 385 area code...you should find another job bc you are shit! at this one. read more

Love Cava but this location needs some help. We have eaten here numerous times assuming they would grow out of the transition from Zoe's. FOR TAKE OUTS: They continually make mistakes, leave off paid for extras/sides, and miss the "ready by time" by huge time delays. Our most recent visit tonight was probably our last at this location. 1/2 size bowls, one with almost no chicken (main protein topping), wrong additional toppings and missing sides. It is sad because that area needs good options and this locations management/owners need to re-examine priorities. This should be better. Other Cavas are able to do it well. read more

The food is good but this location has issues. We've been here twice and both times they did not get our order correct. The second time we got the whole way home (which is like 20 minutes away) just to realize they left out an entire entree! They also had run out of Greek vinaigrette, crazy feta, there were no napkins, and there was no soda fountain ice. We placed an order through the app at 7:16pm for a 7:45pm pickup time. When we got there they were way behind with lots of people waiting and didn't get our food (which ended up not even being correct) until 8:05pm. We contacted support through the app both times we had a problem and they took care of us so that was at least good. I think the only way to maybe have a good experience here is to go in and order so they make it in front of you. Make sure you check your bag before leaving. I'll probably give them one more chance because the food is good. Really hope this location can get its act together. read more

We've been to the Sunset Blvd Lexington, SC Cava location multiple times and have been pleased. The location closed briefly for reasons we don't know and reopened but their service has definitely gotten worse since. We've been back twice since they reopened and both times the server could not follow simple instructions. Once, we told her to give us exactly what was on the menu and even though she used a card to read from, she made many mistakes and at the end slathered 1/4c of dressing on both orders, rendering them almost undesirable. The second time, even though we pointed out what we needed item by item, she made many mistakes and even though was asked to provide very little salad dressing, it provided a lot and again made the dishes unbearable. Cava needs to train its people better, both in understanding their menu and in their encounter with customers. It will be a good while before we go back. read more
