Food: 5 Customer Service: 5 Location/ Parking: 5 Cleanliness: 5 Cava is a healthy Mediterranean restaurant, with a variety of good ingredients to choose from. Personally it reminded me of time in living in Europe some yrs ago! We decided to grab some lunch today at this Cava location on Sunset Blvd in Lexington. They are located where the old Zoes used to be. I really wanted to see what all the hype was about. Parking lot full and a line almost out the door for weeks. Customer service was excellent, everyone was very patient while we decided on what to order. We ordered two different bowls, everything tasted truly delicious. All the ingredients were freshly made. You have a variety of choices to create a bowl or wrap. Lots of choices for rice, beans, veggies and meats, hummus and sauces to choose from. Honestly I could have gotten my bowl without meat, all the food was seasoned well. Im in love with the black yummy lentils! We decided to get our orders to go because due to the line being so long. This was our second attempt to eat here. I liked that the menu was not hecka long, it was fairly simple. They do have fresh juices as well, maybe next time I will try one. Tip: You will have to time this right to avoid the crowds, I went approx 1pm on a Tuesday. My wait time was approx 10min, which wasnt bad at all. I will be back in the future to try something different. Enjoy

I built my own bowl ... too much in it too recall

Cava is one of the best restaurants I've been too in Lexington. Food and customer service are A1.

I can count on one hand how many times I have made a negative post such as the one ahead, but the…read moresituation my wife was in this morning is the type that I cannot be quiet about. This morning, while at Momma Rabbit's Nibbles and Sips, my wife, our barely 2 year old son and a friend were told by who I assume to be one of the owners, that if she was not able to "quiet" my child down, she would have to "take him outside" for fear that he make start to "rile other kids that were there up, and we can't have that". My son, who, again is barely 2, sat in his high chair the entire time, threw not one piece of food on the ground, and sat as politely as a 2 year old could, occasionally cheering "YEAHH" whenever our friend or my wife did something he found entertaining. YES his voice was elevated the few times he cheered, YES there were SIX other children of varying ages in the restaurant all making noises (as all children do), YES it is a very casual restaurant serving breakfast and lunch, and YES there was a grown man sitting at a table near them talking on the phone, on speaker I will point out, for several minutes. So to say that both her and our friend were shocked would be the understatement of the year. We have visited this restaurant on countless occasions, with friends, with my wife, with my children, purchased freezer meals from them, done our parts of supporting a small local business, all to be told to quiet our child down who was making far less noise than many other people were in this restaurant. My wife spent most of her young adult and adult career working in and managing numerous successful restaurants spanning an almost 11 year period. I am appalled, disgusted, and saddened at this clear lack of compassion, professionalism, and customer service. And we wonder why moms are fearful to take their children out in public these days. We will unfortunately not return to Momma Rabbits, ever.

We checked out the menu and although we were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary, we opted for a minimalist approach: the delicious complementary fries with dipping sauces, charred asparagus, the steak, and a bottle of Zinfandel blend. We were greeted warmly as we entered the restaurant and the good service continued with our excellent server Renée. There were no empty tables in the restaurant and everyone seemed to be having a good time without being too loud, perhaps due to the good acoustics of the unique ribbed ceiling. My wife ordered her filet medium-well and I opted for a medium ribeye. Renée explained that they butterfly the filets to encourage more even cooking. Our steaks came out after about 15 minutes, followed by our asparagus. I thought the timing was perfect. Our steaks had a deep char, but managed to be cooked to our liking. We were pleased with the meat. It was very flavorful. The asparagus spears were quite thick, and I was worried they might be woody, but most were tender even at the base. We saved room for dessert and we're really happy with the lemon cake. We also had some caramelized peaches with ice cream and whipped cream. We enjoyed our dinner very much, and look forward to sampling some of the other menu items.

The food was amazing, we loved the wedge salad, Korean meatballs, lobster mash potato's, lemon cake, and crème brûlée. Everything was fresh and delicious! The service was excellent. I also ordered a glass of red which paired well with my meal. Perfect spot for celebrations, date nights, girls night, and family dinners.
