I love CAVA but we doordashed it and it felt so half assed, less than half what we normally get in person and one bowl was missing harissa chicken, the whole main protein was forgotten. if employees can't work in a fast paced environment then train them. the food great but giving half a scoop is not worth a consumers money. I also overheard the conversation of the worker who was serving the customer next to me and she didn't charge them for an extra scoop of chicken?? but when it came to me they were gonna charge me double avocado. My visit at Cava was a letdown. Usually, it's much better, but this time the rice was hard, and the service from a worker named Abby was terrible. Went there last week, it may have been opening day or close to it and it was very crowded with a very long line of people waiting to order. However, our mobile order using the app was ready soon after we arrived. Considering the amount of food you get, in my opinion this place is overly-expensive. The food was good but EVERYTHING on the menu is on the pricey side considering the size of the portions received. This was my second time going to the newly opened Cava. I again was disappointed on the customer service. There seems to be many employees, but only one or two are preparing meals which creates a long wait and long line. The food wasn't good either, the food is salty and they add too much sauces making the pitas wet and soggy. When it came to pay, the cashier took awhile to check us out, because she was dealing with a customer who was over charged and there was no other cashier opened to get us checked out, then she was looking over other employees conversation, while our food sat at the counter after we had already paid. This place lacks management and food prepping efficiencies. I will not go back and rather go to Elias Pita or Georgie's Mediterranean restaurant. read more
