I've been here a handful of times and always had a great experience. The ambiance is nice and clean and the waitstaff is very attentive. The food is yummy and the wait for it was not long any of the times we visited. Definite want to go back soon!

    Family platter for 4. 2 lamb/beef, 2 chicken, 2 vegi, 2-shrimp...the best!

Always greeted with a friendly smile and seated quickly. The salad, hot gyro bread and humas to start. Platter comes out fully loaded and in less than 10 minutes. Best food in town, don't miss out.

10/10! Will definitely return. Excellent service and the food was incredibly delicious. We tried the kebab plate, and the chicken shawarma, so goooood!!

I walked in not knowing what to expect and was delighted to be seated and waited on. I ordered the falafel wrap and hummus. It was all very delicious. The hummus was creamy and very tasty and the pita was warm and fluffy! The falafel wrap was exceptionally delicious! The service was great. Very attentive, i felt taken care of. The ambiance was very comfortable and clean. I would definitely return and highly recommend Sam's Pita and Kabab!

Sam's pita and kabob is one of the best Mediterranean spots in Riverside. Their food is very flavorful and decently portioned. My favorite definitely has to be their chicken kabobs perfectly cooked and juicy. I will say 2 items that surprised me were the chicken shawarma wrap and their mango lemonade. I'm usually not a wrap fan but this one was full of flavor and not dry at all. And the mango lemonade has to be one of the best lemonades I've ever had. All the employees are really sweet and i appreciated Their helpfulness with any menu questions we had. The restaurant is very spacious and clean and seats are not crammed together. It is a very quiet and relaxed vibe inside.

Super yummy food that leaves you feeling satisfied. The mint lemonade was amazing it's flavored with real mint leaves not some yucky tasting syrup. Super refreshing! We ordered the gyro wrap and chicken kabob plate and both were delicious. The wrap filled me up but it also comes with a side of you wanted more. The chicken was juicy and the rice and salad were tasty. Service was great! The girl who took our order recommended I order the fries next time with my wrap. It's a big space and clean inside. While we ate there we saw lots of people come in for pick up, that's how you know it's good. Come check this place out you won't regret it!

Great food , good flavor ! I always receive Friendly service at Sam's , their restaurant is typically quiet and always gives me that home away from home feel. Highly recommend the gyro plates so yummy !

My hubby and I always pass by this spot and decided to stop by and give it a try. First, I want to let everyone know if you can't find parking in the front there is a ton of additional parking in the back. We walked in and got a friendly welcome. We were sat at a booth but they also have tables. The inside was like a diner type setting. The service was quick. Right away we got drinks. We ordered feta fries as an appetizer. We ate it up yall!!. No crumbs. They were fresh, hot and flavorful with a ranch aoli. Now the main course. I had a two proteins shrimp and chicken with rice, hummus and a salad. I finished the whole thing. (Don't judge me it was flavored so well!) My husband got a curry. The only thing we took home was a dessert. Lemon creme slice of cake. Great place to try at least once!

    Cilantro Jalapeño Hummus

the jalapeño hummus was 10/10! Sooo good! The overall food was good but the beef shawarma had a cinnamon taste and I don't like when meat has that sweet taste as much. But I would definitely come back again to try other things on the menu! The water also tasted really good which sold me because I hate going to places that have tap water! The workers were friendly as well.

Really nice hidden gym. The ambiance was great, the service was great and the food was delicious. It started with the garlic cilantro potato's appetizer. These were excellent. Sliced thin and fried crisp. The garlic cilantro seasoning was great. Everything looked good and I couldn't decide. They let me put together my own 3 protein combo and charged me the same price as their 3 kabob combo. I went with: chicken shawarma, shrimp and gyro meat. All 3 proteins were great. I topped it off with the mint lemonade. Straight mojito vibes.... Excellent. I definitely recommend this place.

    Appetizers sampler. EXCELLENT!

Incredibly good food, spotless, not fancy but very comfortable. Free refill on the house made mango lemonade.

Park in the back! Big spot and definitely good for a family. Kept clean and service is prompt and fast! Baklava IS REALLY GOOD. I got turkish coffee, 2 baklava, curry chicken plate, veggie plate and a small fetoush. Good portions was roughly about $60 including a tip. For the amount of food and the health and freshness I think it's a good place to go here and there. I ate leftovers for 3 days!! It's nice because you have leftovers and it's healthy food instead of feeling hungry a few hours after eating. My only suggestion would be for them to lower the prices just a little bit on where a few items can be so that they're able to have more clientele that will come back regularly. This would be something I would go to maybe once a month or once every few months. If they lower the price just a little bit then I could see myself coming more often. But I know rent is crazy food prices are crazy especially when you're doing everything fresh so hopefully the community supports this location! It's a big location so this should be a spot that families go to to eat healthy! Would like to see 2 person specials line the Chinese food places you can get where it's an appetizer the main dish and a dessert and drinks for like 60 bucks. I think that would be a huge hit at this location! Keep in mind all of the main dishes that you get is enough for probably two people and a small child possibly. Definitely great portions! The baklava is big almost double the size where you would get it elsewhere. I keep wanting the baklava and Turkish coffee again. Turkish coffee is really big and it's a nice clean caffeinated experience I had to call back and get the name of what they use it was so Good for keeping me up without jitters.

While driving by, I decided to stop here for a quick lunch, and I'm so glad I did. First of all, the place is impeccable. I work in cleaning services, so I notice these things right away. Everything was spotless. The ambiance is clean, welcoming, and comfortable. Service was fast, but what stood out was that the cashier still took the time, with a smile, to explain parts of the menu when we had questions. The prices are surprisingly affordable. When my mom hesitated because of the language, they made the effort to speak Spanish to make her feel comfortable, which meant a lot to us. We were served at our table, and honestly, the first bite was heavenly. I thought I already loved Greek food, but this went beyond anything I've tried before. Definitely coming back

The omelette was good enough, but I have to be completely honest about the hash browns they were very bland and lacked seasoning. The texture was fine, but I would suggest adding some seasoning during cooking. I think that small change could make them much more appealing to customers. One thing that confused me was the ordering process. When I placed my order in the drive-thru, the employee asked what style of eggs I wanted with my omelette. Since an omelette is already a specific style of egg preparation, I wasn't sure what she meant. Then, when I got to the window, I was asked whether I wanted pickles from a breakfast burrito and whether I wanted potatoes again. I'm not sure if there was some confusion with my order or if they were joking around, but I didn't make an issue out of it. Now that I've finished my breakfast, I'd rate it about a 6 out of 10. That said, I come here often, and there is one item that keeps me coming back: the zucchini. Their zucchini with ranch is an automatic 10 out of 10. In my opinion, it's probably the best thing on the menu, and I highly recommend trying it if you visit. Overall, the breakfast was okay, but the zucchini is definitely the star of the show. Enjoy at your own discretion.

Today, I had a powerful craving for my old favorite - a hot roast beef sandwich with BBQ sauce and horseradish, and some onion rings so I decided to give Lucky Greek another chance. The total for the two items was nearly $25. The rings were pretty good, but the serving was enough for at least 4 people. I wish they would offer a lower priced half-order for single meals. The roast beef sandwich was a real disappointment. The meat was very fatty and had a lot of hard gristle. I pretty much had to take the sandwich apart and pull off the objectionable bits which were about 1/5 of the total weight of the meat. The meat flavor was bland and really needed all of the sauces. The bun was kind of smashed and gummy but held together. Sorry to say, but for me, Lucky Greek just isn't worth going to anymore.

I've had halal kabobs from restaurants all over SoCal and the country and this place is still my favorite. It's a great option for catering (I always get the family platter pictured) and this was my go to place when we lived nearby - the flavors are tasty but not too overpowering so it works for all guests no matter their spice preference. We still drive up to 30 mins to cater from here because the food is always so good and a reliable hit with any guests that we have over. FOOD: The meat is not just flavorful but most importantly, it's somehow always just so moist, so juicy, and so tender all the way through. And it's not just the meats - every item they serve is just really unexpectedly delicious. At most kabob places, the rice/pita/salad/hummus are just weak add ons to fill up the plate, but these items are always so delicious at Kabob House and you can always taste the flavor bursting in every item (my fav is the salad which has a lemon/vinegary kick to it that just elevates the meal). All the items on the menu are great, but my personal favorite is the salmon kabob (if you've never had a salmon kabob, do yourself a favor and try it out and at least add one skewer of it if you get a combo) - the owner recommended this to me years ago, and I've always added at least a couple skewers every time since - all my guests rave about it. SERVICE/AMBIANCE It's a small casual family owned restaurant and the service is always super friendly. You can see the food being made fresh behind the counter which shows their confidence - it's clear they take immense pride in the quality of all their items and are eager to share their food and Palestinian heritage. The price is also exceptional value for the quantity of food you get, especially compared to other similar restaurants. The people saying the vibe is off are correct. The owner holds a strong and friendly presence in the business and is always welcoming. The food at the restaurant is great although I mostly get the cheese flatbreads or cheese and zaaztar. These are basically Levantine pizzas and I argue they are better than pizza and no offense to Italy. The cheeses have more character and pungency than mozzarella and are palatable for just about anyone. I love Mediterranean cuisine in general and if you love it too, please try this food! They also cater. I really appreciate and love how clean and aesthetically appealing the establishments are. I give them a five-star rating because the food is excellent, the establishment seems very clean and the owner is present and welcoming, but if I wanted to, I'd give them two stars because of the girls that give such terribly unprofessional ugly looks to me and apparently, to others as well from reading the reviews. Those girls would be fired immediately from the double Forbes five-star establishment I work at. The most important part of our uniform is a genuine and welcoming smile and always greeting guests with direct eye contact is non-negotiable.
