The bowl was really good using fries instead of rice honestly made it hit way harder. The chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, and everything on top tied together really well without feeling too heavy. The combo plate was just as solid. The chicken was tender, the beef had a nice char and flavor, and both tasted fresh. Portions were generous too--definitely didn't feel like they were skimping. Everything tasted authentic and well-made, not dry or bland like some Mediterranean spots can be. Sauces brought it all together without overpowering the meat. We were feeling Mediterranean and decided to try out a new place. First off the service and delivery were great. The food arrived on time, the order was correct, and it came all the way from Riverside. I'm not sure on the ambiance because I had the food delivered. As for the food, i opted for the combo plate. It came with 3 pieces of steak, chicken, and 1 Kefta kabob, rice, 2 sides, and pita bread. They have a lot of sides to choose from but I don't like that there's an up charge to substitute salad for rice so I got the rice. I love that they allow you to select how you want your beef cooked. I ordered Medium and it was cooked perfectly. The kefta kabob was well seasoned and packed full of Mediterranean spices (delicious). The chicken was full of flavor, cooked all the way through and tender. The rice was full of flavor. I've never had Mediterranean food with rice like this. You may or may not like it. I enjoyed the extra flavor than just having white rice. The tabbouleh was fresh and gave my meal some brightness. The pita bread was a disappointment for me. You could tell it's store bought or not freshly made. You can taste the flour or starch on it. It was dry and not good. It reminded me of the Pita bread in the bakery section of food4less. The other disappointing element to my meal was the cucumber yogurt (tzatziki) I don't like that the cucumber was cubed and it was watery. It lacked that cucumber flavor and it appeared to be prepared watered down intentionally. It was even lacking that tart yogurt taste because it was so thinned out. Overall, it was still a fairly good meal. I would suggest making or buying better pita bread. Option of take out or dine in. Inside is limited with seating, about 4 tables, but there are also outside patio tables. We were greeted when walking in but a bit of a delay when getting order taken. I do appreciate the hostess bringing our food to our table, due to my limited mobility. I would say its pretty costly but the portion sizes were generous. The combo mix came with a good portion of meat while the lamb kebob only had 6 pieces. The rice was well seasoned and it was the perfect bite of hummus, turnip, lamb, rice, wrapped in pita bread. My friend brought me here for lunch yesterday and everything was so amazing! He had the lamb kabab plate while I got the chicken shawarma bowl. The rice was soft and flavorful. I've been coming to this restaurant for a little over a year, and I've always had a good experience so I was especially disappointed by what happened during my most recent visit. When I first arrived, I was greeted very nicely by one of the employees. She was incredibly sweet and helpful. While I was waiting for my food, the employees switched shifts, and that's when the experience completely changed. I was told my food would take about 10-15 minutes. While I was waiting, another customer came in who worked at Ralph's and asked about a discount. The new employee was very rude to her and told her that she had "misheard" because the owner has an accent. It was uncomfortable to watch, especially because there were only two customers in the restaurant at the time. By the time I had been waiting for about 30 minutes, the other customer went up and politely explained that she needed her food before she had to return to work. The employee responded by telling her that if she was in a rush next time, she should order online. I then went up to ask about my own order. The employee looked behind her, noticed my order sitting with the other to-go bags, and handed it to me. I honestly have no idea how long my food had been sitting there. What bothered me even more was that she then told me she had already called my number. I was literally the only other customer in the restaurant, and she never called my number while I was sitting there. When I told her that, instead of apologizing or acknowledging what happened, she simply rolled her eyes at me. Throughout the time I was waiting, she was also standing around talking to the cook and asking for gossip about someone who was going into the Army. Meanwhile, customers were waiting for their food. I'm honestly not as upset about my own experience as I am about the way I watched another customer being treated. Everyone has bad days, and I understand that we are all human and still learning. However, kindness and basic customer service go a long way. I hope this employee can learn from this experience because the way she treated people was very disheartening. I've been coming here for over a year, which is why this experience was so surprising and disappointing. This gem is located in the 'Canyon Crest Towne Centre' shopping center near Ralph's with plenty of parking. There's inside and outside seating. We wanted a good, but fast-casual Mediterranean meal so this was a great find. I had their 'Beef Shawarma' Plate which consists of rice, topped with beef, 2 cold sides, 1 sauce, and piece of pita bread. I had the hummus and potato salad as sides, which were both excellent choices. The beef was tender and flavorful and the garlic paste was a great addition. We have been to numerous Mediterranean restaurants and I think this one gets an outstanding prize. Two things really stood out for me: 1. The overall taste was delightful, in particular, the Chicken wrap I had had a special memorable taste. The chicken was done nicely keeping the meat juicy. There were also generous amounts of meat in the wrap. 2. For the lamb Shish kebab bowl, we got salad only, so it was like a lamb salad. I was surprised that there were 6 or 7 large pieces of lambs, they were tender and delicious. Their garlic sauce and Tanini sauce were both lovely. Services from the counter and chef from kitchen were both prompt, friendly, and helpful. There are both inside and outside seating, both clean and comfortable. We came out to riverside for a show & decided to grab a bite to eat here. It was insanely busy & we were asked to order on the tablet. It's quite small inside but do have outdoor seating. My lamb plate was ok just a lot of gristle which it was kinda difficult to eat with plastic cutlery but the bites I did get to enjoy were tasty. My first time at Georgie's Mediterranean cuisine and unfortunately i was left with mixed feelings. I will say the location is pretty small and crammed. There is only a few indoor seats but the outdoor seating was not too bad. They offer several options shawarma, kabobs, wraps, and more. And overall my friends and i enjoyed the food. I myself ordered the 3 kabob combo plate with the steak being the star of the show cooked to perfection. Everything had good flavor and we really enjoyed it. The reason why i had to give 3 stars was because of the wait time. So 4 of us all ordered separately but at the same time (one after the other). 3 of us received our food about 15 minutes after i say and they were busy with to go order so we understand. But our 4th friend did not get her food til 30 Minutes after. At about 20 minutes i did ask and they assured me it was coming out soon but still took a while to come out. By that point the rest of our food was cold. So overall the food was great but the service/ time it took to receive was a bit of a let down which is unfortunate. read more

We ordered takeout when it was relatively empty and the food came out in 20 minutes. The chicken kebab plate came with 2 sides and rice. The rice is mixed with vermicelli, which wasn't my favorite and the chicken was a little bland. The dolmas were also too salty for my liking. Also, the food wasn't packed well - it spilled all over the bag, which was a little inconvenient. The salads are refreshing combined with the deep meat profiles. Need a bit more pita with the meals to help. Our side orders were red cabbage salad, cucumber yogurt, Tahini salad and plates included rice, pita bread and garlic sauce. The red cabbage had large chunks-I would have preferred smaller pieces. Every dish included Med. yellow rice. The rice was flavorful. My beef was tender and had a good taste. The shrimp and chicken had a good seasoning. Cashier Trinity was very friendly and had a good attitude. Because it was noisy inside, we chose to dine on the patio. The patio faces a courtyard with surrounding businesses.
