Just Wow! The other day, a friend of mine ordered from Cava (Door Dash); it was my first experience with this particular restaurant. I love Mediterranean food and I was pleasantly surprised. Cava serves the most delicious dishes with all kinds of sauces. The pita bread is amazing, but the pita chips are over the top. Two kinds of hummus and all kinds of tasty sauces. What I really like is the ability to create a bowl to your desire. Very generous portions. Only thing I find a little disappointing is that they don't offer baklava for dessert. Only complaint is Celeste she gave me rice like I was a baby. I serve my kids more than what she gave me. When I told her if I can please have more she said that's how it is and I showed her the people in front of me had a lot more and she said they have "lettuce in the bottom" so I proceeded to ask the lady in front of me did she have lettuce and she said no! Celeste still didn't want to give me more rice! Lol. I don't know what her problem was rice is like a few cents! I love Cava! So I wanted to see if this new location was as good as the others. This location is near the freeway, but the other stores in the plaza do not compliment well with this type of restaurant. The line was long but moved pretty quickly. Once it was my time to order, I could see the servers we're having a hard time getting people through the line. The store is so new (first weeks it's been opened) it looks like a lot of the servers haven't been trained well. I ordered my usual a build your own bowl. However I noticed the serving size sizes were much smaller than other locations.The server barely wanted to give me greens and told me it would be extra to add arugula. I had never heard that before. I think she just wasn't well trained. However, they have made some nice renovations, but the storefront hasn't been updated at all. The door handles need to be painted. Overall I hope they improve by training their staff (Knowledge of menu and pricing) to move a bit more quickly when it comes to making the food with a high volume. read more

First time at Cava not the first time eating Mediterranean food. This place reminds me of Chipotle. The place was packed and service was very slow. I ordered a pita and they didn't have chicken so I had to wait for it to be cooked, by the time the chicken came my pita was cold and was supposed to be hot. I enjoyed the taste of the food but did not enjoy that it was ice cold. I love fries with Mediterranean food but they don't have fries. They have garlic Parmesan pita chips, which were ok. The store was clean and had different types of soft drinks like different lemonades and teas which is unique. I'll come again when it's less busy. read more

The food was delicious! I got a bowl with the grilled steak and spicy lamb. The best part is you can add all the toppings you want! But that was not even the highlight of our experience. Thanks to lorainna! She provided an amazing experience at cava where we had some uncertainty of meats and dips where she provided a small sample ensuring that before we added it to our bowl it was something we found tasteful! She treated us with great care and provided the best service I have ever received! I truly felt like I was being treated like a family member! I have been so excited for this location to open. I am often in Orange County and always stopped to get some because there wasn't a location near me. I placed a pick up order. App said it would be ready by 8 got there at 8:15 and was just placed on the pickup area. Honestly not a big deal to me. Although, I'm pretty disappointed with the portion sizes. My bowl looked half eaten. Usually other locations that I've been to will fill the bowl to the top. Considering this is a pretty pricey meal ($18 for one bowl no drink) to not have portions that correlate with that is very disappointing. I really hope this is just a first opening kinks that will be worked out soon. read more

I drive 30 minutes to go to this location since it's the nearest and I've noticed the service going downhill. Clean. Fast and great portions. Customer service was great too. Always cleaning and sweeping. A good amount of options for fresh lemonades (6) and your usual fountain drinks. I did the steak and feta pita. Both had around 8-10oz of steak each. Fresh ingredients and plenty of options. Bowls are popular and pitas are messy, so don't eat them in your car haha. I went to try it out for the first time and nobody was helpful as far as how to order what was the best thing to get, the guy making my food TJ was just laughing and conversing with the other guy packing orders for pick up. I was in there for about 20 minutes just to get one bowl and one cup was in front of me in line. They moved very slow as slow as they possibly could. What is the point of having a mobile app with mobile ordering if when you get here the order is still not being worked on? I've waited a long time to post a review after but I have now been back several times (worth the wait) and it's been the exact same customer experience each time. I really hope their ordering system gets a revamp. There doesn't seem to be any organization between pick up orders and the regular line. read more

My issues is not with the food. The food is delicious but my issue today was with the customer service. The young black girl was pretty rude. I'm standing there for my online order and she did not acknowledge me. Didn't Let me know she'll be right with me, she rang out three customers and yet to be acknowledge. My dad and I enjoyed our bowls and saved one for my mom. But when she came home, during the middle of eating, she noticed a dead fly sitting on an avocado piece in her bowl which she stopped and immediately threw away so I couldn't take a picture. We were disgusted and although my bowl along with my dad's seemed perfectly fine, I was really disappointed to discover this with my mom. I went with a party of four and was really disappointed. The service was rude and rushed our order. I only got 4 meatballs, 3 cherry tomatoes, and 7 pita crisps in my bowl. Even after asking for more, the bowl still looked very small. On top of that, my family and I didn't receive our pita side--even though we paid for it, they claimed it was in the bag when it clearly wasn't. The food itself is good but the customer service is just so horrible!!!! I've never seen any restaurant as horrible as this one. The workers there ignore you for good 15 mins at least. They act like there's nobody there waiting for their food. I ordered on the app and the app said it will take 10 mins to get it ready. It took 40 mins to get my food!!! The workers there work so slow and they stop and talk among themselves. They have no sense of urgency!!! No communication on why the food is getting delayed whatsoever. Cannot believe it took them 40 mins to make a bowl from ingredients that are already all out there.
