This is literally the slowest Cava I have been to in my entire life. The only thing saving the review is the food of course because Cava always delivers in that category. I truly don't even know why it was so slow ... and when I say slow I mean a good 20 minutes on line before my order being taken. There were people on line trying to order on the app to see if it would've been quicker. I will probably not visit this location again bc time is money and I can't give them both!

So not sure what's been going on but we used to love coming to Cava for its freshness and delicious flavors! BUT the past few times, around 2/3 months, the quality has drastically changed, the lettuce is always 'just ok' with some red sections, the rice is stuck together and at times over cooked or soggy and the chicken has lots of fat or burned pieces. Not sure if it's careless or supply has been coming in in poor quality, but they aren't good changes in any way

If you haven't tried the GREENS + GRAINS BOWL at Cava, you're seriously missing out! I love how customizable it is; you can mix and match your favorite greens and grains to create a bowl that's perfect for your taste. My go-to combo is the shredded lamb and blackened chicken topped with all the fixings--because why not go all out? Cava truly embodies its mission to bring heart, health, and humanity to food. They focus on serving delicious Mediterranean and Greek meals that help everyone eat well and live well while caring for the earth and the people who cultivate it. Plus, the atmosphere is welcoming and inclusive, making it a great spot for friends and family. If you're in the area, swing by! I stopped by Cava on a weekday noon to get a bowl for lunch. Luckily there was no line, store was relatively less busy. I got to start my orderr right away. All the ingredients were available. Got my favorite braised lamb with lots of toppings and sauces. Service was excellent, I was done paying and walked out in minutes. The store was clean and condiments section was well stocked. I started eating from the bowl an hour later. Yet all ingredients tasted so good. Just love the flavor all of their ingredients bring it. The skhug is such a unique sauce, I can't get enough of it.

Have absolutely nothing bad to say about Cava, the Mediterrean Chipotle so to speak for fast food dining. Been to many Cava locations but this one is among my favorite. Always a generous helping of animal protein here whereas they skimp out on most locations. I went with my classic choice the harissa but opted for a lamb option myself. Love that their is diverse animal proteins options here. I paired it with fried pita chips and of course all of the vegetable add ons (pickled onions, cucumbers. Corn, and much more). Service could be a little faster, but I noticed most Cava locations are just like that. It can be a bit slow as you move across the service line. But still recommend!

Why this place was so busy at 2pm, I'll never know. Is the food that good? I won't know that either. When I came inside the line was wrapped around and started near the entrance. I didn't have enough patience to wait so I had to leave. I noticed seating inside but the space seemed pretty tight.

I've been going here at least once a week for the past month -- I guess you could call me an addict at this point... Service and food quality has been consistent *chef's kiss* I'm a creature of habit, so I always get the same ingredients in my custom bowl: Base - brown rice Dips - roasted eggplant (the BEST), spicy feta, tzatiki Protein - grilled chicken Toppings - pita crisps, feta, cucumber, pickled onion, olives, tomato, cabbage slaw, romaine Sauce - greek vinaigrette Their drink refreshers are also very good and not overly sweet. Try the pineapple apple mint or the classic lemonade. Sadly, they got rid of the limited time garlic ranch pita chips :-( Hopefully they'll make another comeback in the future.

Sat 12pm for lunch. SUPER BUSY and LONG LINE! Great staff. Very efficient. The line is moving pretty quickly. Self service table so it could get a little messy. Food is good. I like their hummus, grilled chicken and fried pita.

Incredible kids meal. Half a pita with 2 falafels, lentils, dip, chips, and a drink for less than $7!

Picked up a kid's pita meal for a little one I was with and was shocked at how much delicious, healthy food was it this portion for less than $8! Their other full sized selections are also wonderful however I did not get any that day.

Beware of this young lady if you would have to simply ask for an order or help her with her job.

I came in here at 1pm March 3 to pickup an order for my sick partner. The store was not busy. There were more than customers. I walked to the counter gave them the order name than mentioned the items to Bebo out locating it. I didn't get her name but this particular young lady rolled her eyes, was dismissive & walked away. She didn't tell me if my order wasn't prepared or anything. I simply walked to the side & waited because she was clearly bothered. I tried to get someone on the phone after the incident. No one ever answers the phone line neither. Beware of this business for they only want your money & clearly have an agenda. I try to give businesses & people the benefit of the doubt but lack of accountability speaks volumes to corporate businesses like this. Support local independent businesses beware of these People places & things

While doing some after Christmas shopping at the Bergen mall we decided to go to Cava for lunch. We have tried to go before but the line is always so long. When we arrived around 12:30 the line was almost to the door. We started to wait and then we thought let's see if they have an app, which they did. We ordered and it said it would be ready in 20 mins. This was fine with us, we got off line and went and did some shopping. It was ready when we returned and in the pick up area. We spilt the rice and chicken bowl which was really tasty. I couldn't figure out how to custom on the app but I was happy with the toppings. It was large so I am happy we spilt it. We definitely will be returning again and using the app.

I think one of my new favorite spot for Mediterranean inspired foods. I love that they label which ones are vegan friendly. The line can be long at times but it moves fairly quick. I always order mine with extra corn and of course the garlic sauce on top.

Is there menu gluten free/ dairy free?

No. Their entire menu is not gluten and dairy free but they have some options.

Where in the mall is this place/how do i get there?? Spent a good 5-10 mins walking around looking for it. I found 2 signs split by a hallway, the sign to the left says Cava's to the left and the sign on the right says Cava's to the right. DAFUG?

The entrance is outside the building. You'll need to exit the mall.

One had eaten and taken out from here before and liked it, so we called, didn't need a reservation, off we went. At about 5:15, give or take, we were the first patrons there. It's a lovely large space, warmly decorated with tables and some banquettes. We chose a 4-top kind of right in the center! Comfy chairs, btw. The menu isn't strictly Greek or Lebanese or Turkish, kind of a combo of good choices from those cuisines. We started with an appetizer called Tinos Artichoke. Very interesting, served with small warm fresh wedges of pita plus a cup of deliciously seasoned pita chips. It's a dip of mashed artichokes with Greek yogurt, sun dried tomatoes, parsley, garlic, feta. S tasty! It's a great portion to share among several people. My friends each ordered the chicken soup with vegetables for appetizers. Quite a nice sized bowl for the price; I love avgolemono, if that's what it was (I didn't taste it), just didn't feel like having soup. They both liked it very much and then they were pretty full! I ordered two appetizers for my meal - Symi Shrimp and Grilled Halloumi. Excellent choices, and they worked really well together as a meal! The 2 slabs of perfectly cooked halloumi are served on a bed of romaine lettuce and some threads of carrot. The shrimp are small, very lightly breaded and deliciously seasoned; menu says garlic, lemon, but they were reddish so I suspect maybe paprika as well or cayenne + paprika (not hot but not bland), shredded feta sprinkled liberally on top. I'm a big eater, but after the appetizer I wasn't able to finish my meal; today I reheated in the toaster oven for a lunch treat! One friend had just the Symi shrimp as her meal; the soup had filled her up and she also took some home. Our other friend had the chicken shish. This came as a really well-balanced plate, with plenty of cubes of chicken, rice, and veggies. We ALL had to-go bags! Appetizer portions, just based on the appetizers we were served, are ample for sharing. Didn't stay for dessert, as I had a train to catch back into the City. When I'm out in Bergen County again, I'll think about coming back. If you live in the area, GO, It's very good and not exorbitantly priced.

Tino's Artichoke is a tasty start - an artichoke dip with feta and sun-dried tomatoes served with pita chips. We'll usually get the mixed grill (but subbing lamb in for the beef, way more flavor). Or, a mix of grilled octopus, grilled calamari and a salad. Everything is very flavorful and goes great with the pita bread. Our calamari was a little chewy this last visit, which surprised me. It's never like that. Octopus is always tender and comes with tasty charred onions, peppers, caperberries. Other delicious dishes here - chicken shish, the steak, gyro, grilled shrimp, lamb shish. Lately they've been decorating tables with fresh flowers - nice touch and complements the candles.

We preferred these over the chicken kebab, which were just as flavorful but quite a bit drier.
