Every slice held up well and had just the right amount of sauce and cheese. The wings were another highlight, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. The fries arrived hot and crispy, which is always appreciated when ordering delivery. What impressed me most was how quickly everything arrived. I loveeeee chicken cutlet sandwiches in general. I had the American chicken which was good. Fast forward 6 years later I was craving a chicken cutlet sandwich and couldn't find anything closeby. I remembered Ted's and realized that it is now only 10 minutes from me so I tried again. It was mother's day and I ordered ahead. I was grateful that my food was ready upon arrival and it wasn't hectic. I've been struggling to find a good buffalo chicken wrap in the area. I tried Ted's and wow. Amazing. It was a large wrap but I really enjoyed it. What saddens me most about this place is that they close before I get home from work so my opportunities to enjoy it are limited. Their online system is easy to use. I used it both times and it worked great. Both times my food was ready when I arrived. Staff isn't mean but they also aren't chipper lol very straightforward in and out transaction. There is a parking lot for Ted's that is shared with Dunkin Donuts and a few other shops there. D and I were here tonight for a dinner after a long day's work. She at her job and I spent the day…read moredeep cleaning the cage of our yellow sided green cheek conure. We arrived a little after 9pm. The service of the young server was perfect. He was prompt, polite and attentive to our needs. The food was as good as you can get at a highway diner. We got what we expected and enjoyed it. Desert, however, is another story. D is allergic to anything that contains caffeine. That means no coffee, tea, certain pain medications and NO CHOCOLATE. She asked me to go to the display counter and see what kind of cheesecake there was. There were many different kinds: mango, orange, caramel, banana and more. Unfortunately, this diner's idea of garnishing a desert is with a creme topping loaded with CHOCOLATE STICKS, CHIPS, AND COOKIES! (see attached photo) EVEN THE DESERT LABLED VANILLA CAKE WAS FESTOONED WITH CHOCOLATE HOO-HAH! When I mentioned this to the management, I was told, "Well, we have rice pudding and baklava." No matter how I worded it, he just couldn't seem to comprehend that a good 90+% of his deserts had chocolate which was discriminatory against people who are allergic to chocolate. I even tried to put it in another reality for him. I asked if their baker made anything with peanut or peanut butter. He replied in the affirmative. I asked if they had a special preparation area so that there were safe deserts for a child with a peanut allergy. He didn't seem to understand the premise. So, if you, or your child have ANY food allergies, I strongly suggest that you avoid the Suburban Diner at all costs. We will be doing so in the future.
