My sentiments about CAVA are pretty much the same as most people. There is no doubt that the food is good, you can tell it's fresh, whole food. Even the fountain drinks are Maine Root, known for using cane sugar. This place uses good ingredients. But you are paying a steep price. I had the lamb meatballs sweet potato bowl with pita chips and a regular fountain drink. The standard portion is two baby sized meatballs, I asked for double and my total came out to $35.

Inflation is real. I just realized they this small drink (kid size) cup for coke cost $3.25 I totally forgot to take a pic of my food, but this was the splurge for the month for m, I don't think I got the value for what I paid in total for this bowl and drink.

Food: 4 Service: 4 Ambience 3 Date/Time: 10/6/2024 12:30pm Crowd: 3 tables occupied and several waiting in line (mostly to-go orders) Order: Spicy Chicken & Avocado Wrap Service was quick. The folks behind the counter looked a bit tired with all the serving they were doing but were efficient at their job. After going public on the stock market, I thought there would be some changes in the restaurant but the same cement floor was still there. They did change the app with rewards. The food is still very good. Ordered the wrap with the harissa vinegarette on the side just in case the harissa hummus made it too spicy but it wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be so used it to dip the wrap into. Still a good place to eat!

This time I decided to try the new date vinaigrette and it was soo yummy. I also threw a couple sweet potatoes in the bowl and it offered a balanced of sweet & savory. Cava is always consistent, I can't be upset with the service as we are always waiting for fresh harissa chicken. Who can be mad at that?! Overall, I always enjoy cava and would recommend.

I can't really say I enjoyed this location. It wasn't very clean, the staff wasn't very friendly, the food wasn't that amazing for the price we paid. I can see how it could be, but not at this location for me. I eat here only because the person I was having lunch loves their food. I really wanted to enjoy it - but no. The one thing that really bothered me was when I asked for some suggestions from the staff since it was my first time. The person was kind of shrugged like "I don't know what to tell ya". Like I am not looking for you to give me a Yelp review, but what is the best sellers? That would have helped. That was the introduction and well we know how first impression are. Once I decided on what I wanted, the quality of the protein the staff member was placing within my bowl, I asked could they give me something that looked fresh as that looked to have been out for awhile. They became annoyed. Yeah, at that point I was like you know what - let me get thru this. I will not be back nor would I recommend this location to anyone.

The store is severely understaffed. The cashier should only handle checkouts, not food. This raises serious sanitation concerns. Even though hands don't touch the food when making the bowls, there are still opportunities to improve the food prep process. I didn't see gloves being changed frequently and the food prepping area needs cleaning. The dining area tables were dirty and required deep cleaning. I acknowledge that I visited during a busy time, but that doesn't excuse the issues I observed. Overall, the food was good as always.

I finally tried Cava!!! My daughter and my nephew both rave about it, so I ordered delivery for a Sunday dinner. I'll definitely go to the actual location next time to make sure I'm getting everything I ask for and the correct portions. I had the grains bowl, with basmati rice, 1/2 braised lamb, 1/2 grilled chicken, cucumber & tomatoes, pickled onions & tzatziki!! It was absolutely delicious. It was love at first bite. I'm already planning my next visit. The grilled chicken and the braised lamb were both so amazingly tender and melted in my mouth. The flavor profile of the bowl was perfect! They forgot my side of pita and my side of yogurt dill sauce, but it didn't take away from the delicious, fresh taste of the bowl. I can only imagine how delicious the pita will be.

First time at cava was a success! Sad it took me so long to try, apparently I've been missing out! These pita chips and garlic spread have me in a chokehold! The summer drinks are good as well

Food was delicious. The server suggested I try the balsamic date vinaigrette, and it was fabulous! I'm so glad I tried it. Thank you ! I had the lavender blueberry lemonade, it felt "dry" I really don't know how to explain it, but it was not sweet whatsoever. Ambience, pretty chill inside. There is seating outside but the other restaurant across has seating there and during the weekends it gets pretty busy. During the week it is quiet.

Roasted veggie bowl. 6 cups put in due to it being low, it was barely a half bowl. More came in a kids meal. Shouldn't be able to fit 6.

The restaurant was clean. Plenty of parking. The drink area was clean as well. They also offer a pickup area. The food was good. Meat was well seasoned & everything was fresh. I love eating at any of their locations. The employees were great. Robert displayed excellent customer service. However, I believe some training for some employees would be helpful. When preparing bowls, is you choose not to get lettuce, then you should get more rice (see pics). I did bring it to their attention & it was corrected. I appreciate that. The restaurant has a nice ambiance & outdoor seating as well. Very relaxing inside. I will say this, I got a warm feeling from the staff; like a family unit. The impression was they work well together & care about each other. That's so important nowadays. I love that versus a hostile environment where people have attitudes & chaos. I will definitely return to this location. PLEASE REMEMBER, have patience, you never know what someone is going through or what kind of day they may be having. It may be a reason they aren't smiling or talking.

Bowl with super greens, grains and bomb toppings! I snapped this when my bowl was half way gone lol.

So I finally tried CAVA and I have no idea why I waited soooo long! I got created my own bowl and loaded it with super greens, brown rice, red pepper hummus, harissa and tzatziki dip, tomato/cucumbers, fire roasted corn, olives, harissa honey chicken, pickled onions, pita crisp & finished it up with green vinaigrette, yogurt dill & hot harissa vinaigrette. It was amazing and although it was super light feeling I was full - 10/10 recommend. Now they're kinda high but it was expected so I wasn't caught off guard. I got my order to go but the inside was cool- there were a lot of people inside. It was a semi small but comfortable vibe. The pineapple mint drink was like a 6/10, but I would try it again. Servers were super cool & patient! I'll be back to try a different variation of the bowl.

I was half way done before remember to take a picture lol this food is good!

"Consistency Matters"…read more The food is delish, let's start there. This hasn't been on my bingo card for a while and boo hoo! The garden pizzette and chicken shawarma are fan favorites for a reason. Chicken Shawarma is a (IMO) well seasoned cinnamon forward profile that delivers a tender chew. Don't let the cinnamon description deter you. The flavor is complex, savory, and very good! The garden pizzette is delicious. The perfect mixup of feta, mint, tomato, and cucumber...Chef's Kiss (dip in hummus and/or tzatziki for that extra, extra added flavor). We also loved the tzatziki/lebnah sauce. Perfect balance for our Americanized palate. My biggest complaint, would be consistency. I ordered twice in one week. Each meal was delicious, but noticeable different. Not a huge factor, but one I thought worth mentioning. Bread was whole wheat ... cool/ not a problem .. but also not my preference. All in all, a darn good meal! Sold side options. Fast casual Mediterranean/Lebanese : 4.5

I was going to be closer to the Raleigh location this past month so I decided to go to the Raleigh location and see if they could do the same as cary. I went in and asked a young man he said that should not be a problem for me to put in my catering orders and then have my payment done a certain way at the register, as they usually do, in cary. I placed my order and got to the register and then the very nice girl that was there was going to ring me up. She wasn't sure how to manually enter my credit card information that I needed to give, so she asked what I'm going to assume was her manager or whoever was in charge that day? The woman turned around and looked at me as if I walked in and started in her face. Her face was so disgusted, twisted up, and snarled with disapproval. She asked me, with a huge attitude, "what was going on here?". I politely explained the situation, which is that, at the Cary location our company pays over the phone when I arrive. I handed her the phone to give her the credit card information and she was speaking to my boss (who is a very world-renowned doctor) about the payment info. She was so rude to him and said "well usually we don't do this but we'll do it this time". I informed her that from now on, since it was such a problem we will gladly go to the other location or just another restaurant in general. The younger people at the register were extremely friendly and polite and really made this experience the most positive thing from this whole trip to this location. As I was leaving the female who had the attitude earlier did say that she " was sorry, and that she just didn't know what she was walking into". At this point, I really did not care about an I'm sorry, because I will never go back to this location. I don't care who or what she is, but if she doesn't know what she's walking into, then the best idea for her(if she had any business or common sense)would be to approach it in a professional manner and not with a stank attitude. I have worked in doing catering sales, amahing businesses, throwing events, and ordering multiple catering orders for other businesses that I run. I have never and would never, approach anyone like this if I was uncertain of any situation. It puts a really bad look on their whole concept. I have already talked to multiple people about this and told all the physicians that I work with. I have also discussed this encounter with other people who do multiple orders for catering and other event networking groups. I will never be ordering from this location again. I hope whatever they do, they get it right, and start hiring people who appreciate having a job, to make sure that no one else feels so turned off by someone like this. I'm only giving a two stars for the Friends League kids that were at the counter and at the cash register

Shared plates, roasted flavors and a cocktail driven menu sets the theme. We started out with a few amazing spreads then shared large format fish, beef and veg. For the starters, the roasted carrots and the roasted eggplant spreads were served up with home made pita served piping hot! Both spreads were delicious, balancing savory and a hint of sweet with just enough spice to add depth w/o taking away from the natural veggie flavors. The fried haloumi was gobbled up so fast I almost didn't get a picture of it! For the mains, we had the fried fish which was ZOMG!!!! Flaky but still juicy, bathed in this east Asian inspired sauce and sprinkled with fresh herbs that gave the whole dish a pop! The kids destroyed most of it. The Short rib fell apart with a fork!! Enough said!! And the charted cabbage and broccoli was such a crowd favorite we almost got another order but had to leave room for dessert. The table shared the strawberry shortcake and I opted for an espresso martini that was both sweet and balanced and so smooth you could take it in one glug. It felt like dining in a friend's home. Our server, William, is excellent at his job. Very efficient, great input on food choices, and quite personable. The meal started off with a burst of flavor as we enjoyed their fairly new offering of a ceviche called Eye of the Tiger that featured a sauce you can never get enough of. Wish their bread service was a bit more inspired, but the Le Farm bread did soak up some of the various sauces sent out from a very inspired kitchen team. For dessert I ordered Baklava Cheesecake (New York-style cheesecake with nuts and baklava filling) which was very nice and my mom ordered the Limoncello cake (lemon cake with lemon cream frosting) which was definitely the star of the show. If I'm back downtown I may try Taverna Agora again but will definitely avoid ordering the pork chop.

I usually order the two chicken skewer kabobs with rice, a super salad, and the jalapeño cilantro hummus. The hummus is *so* good that I often grab a small container to take with me when I travel. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, and you can really tell they use quality ingredients, especially with olive oil as a base. They offer both fresh pita and gluten-free pita, which is great for anyone with dietary restrictions. Honestly, I could make a meal just out of all the sides--they're that good. The menu is consistently solid, and I feel like you really can't go wrong with anything you order. It's a perfect spot for a low-key lunch or dinner. Also worth noting: on Tuesdays, kids eat free with a paying adult, which is a great bonus for families. Highly recommend!

The portions are very generous, so if you can't finish your meal, it's easy to take the leftovers home. They conveniently provide to-go containers and bags for customers. One thing I found a bit challenging was the ordering process. There is a huge selection of food, which can be overwhelming for first-time visitors. I would have appreciated a little more guidance from the staff when making my choices, as I think it would have helped me order more confidently. Overall, it's a good place with plenty of options and great portion sizes.
