I'm a big fan of this place. They have lots of veggie options and solid protein choices. They also have lots of fun drinks. If you do decide to get a drink. Service is always nice and the staff are very accommodating with all of my questions. I came here one time to work for a while and there were plenty of outlets and seats. I usually love Cava's but this is the worst location I have been to, sadly. When I ordered the lamb meatballs in my bowl they only gave me 2, and said anymore would be an up charge. I'm obsessed. I have gotten the Greek salad bowl both times and I add corn so yummy! The ball comes with a pita and I get a side of pita chips that are so delicious this time I got them super fresh. The guy cooking them in the back was really nice and got them out to me ASAP. The staff were friendly and quick ! Stopped in for lunch during the work week at around 11:30am on a Tuesday. It was my first time in and I have been dying to try this place for a few months now. It's taken me a while to make it out but I asked a friend how he made his bowl to get an idea and avoid being a deer in the headlights on my first visit. They have a made to order system, think Mediterranean Chipotle. I lucked out and was the only customer in the store so I didn't feel pressured to rush and move the line along. I asked so many questions and was pleased to see all the options. A little bummed that there weren't any super greens for the day, especially since it was still early, but more to look forward to next time. I made it work and asked for pita chips on the side. The bowl was delicious and I'm so happy my friend sent over his recommendations since we have similar taste. No complaints on the flavors and I can see the hype. The price is very comparable to other made to order establishments like Fresh Kitchen and Chipotle so I wasn't surprised. Overall a successful first visit but was surprised to learn they no longer make their wi-fi available to customers. I would love for this location to be successful but there are some issues that need to be worked out. Food: More misses than hits. Often overly sauced or ingredients are watery which just results in a wet bowl. I think you would need to always order in person to remedy this. Meat is alright with some fatty bits here and there. I do enjoy the dips and the variety of sauces. Service: Mostly friendly but they often miss a lot especially with online orders. Every online order I've placed has been missing something. I really wanted to like this place. They were very friendly and had good service. Very good options. My problem was the seasoning in the food. Didn't seem to match up and complement each other. It was good, but it was too much for my digestive tract. I got a few different things in my bowl. I'm used to spicy food like hot spicy not Different kinds of herbs and stuff like that. I got mine to go. I didn't dine in. It is just a regular interior nothing fancy. One of the only and the best healthy food option near us! Food is always fresh and consistent. We call it our "Cava Clense" and come every week. Their rewards program actually gets you free stuff! The slowest service l've ever experienced at a Cava location. Waited 40 minutes in line and our food got cold. Also, they're supposed to give you complimentary pita bread with each bowl and they don't, unless you ask for it. Horrible customer service! My fiancé and I walked in 20 minutes to close and were not treated with hospitality. We were the only people in there. They did not speak to us or let us know they will need a minute with what they were doing. So we stood there for about 4 minutes and I had to ask "is anyone going to take care of us?" One girl facing away from us mumbled as if she were under the influence of drugs. The other 2 employees chose to ignore my question. Then they proceeded to tell us that they were out of all the crucial elements to make any bowl. Absolutely sad how lazy the workers were. They acted like they just woke up trying to avoid any sort of work and decided to close early. This place is absolutely the best. Super affordable and delicious, and above average portion sizes. I eat here quite a lot for quick lunches during work, and often have food leftover. It is very easy to mix and match whatever kind of bowl or wrap you want, for whatever dietary needs you have. All of the options are great though, everything tastes super high quality and healthy, especially compared to every other food option nearby. I've ordered through delivery apps and in-person, and the portions don't seem different at all, so they don't skimp for delivery orders. Updated review: The woman who was working yesterday did an incredible job accommodating my nut allergy. Sadly I didn't get her name. The online allergy guide states that none of the items contain tree nuts, however I experienced an allergic reaction at the downtown St. Petersburg location. She checked and told me the falafel contains tree nuts. Thanks to her diligence I avoided an allergic reaction. The other associate was clueless as to which items contained nuts. Thank you! Also wanted to add, I had hoped to leave my change in the tip jar today for the employees as they did a phenomenal job in service. However there was no tip jar at the register to leave a tip, and they could not accept my cash even as a gratuity. They allow tips next door at Chipotle, and if this is a company wide rule, I wanted to state that this would improve my overall experience if I would be able to provide tips.
