We stopped into Benedicts Largo for lunch on a Friday. There were plenty of tables open in this bright and clean dining room and we were seated immediately. We both ordered a brunch meal. My wife got the quiche Lorraine with fruit and the blueberry-lemon bread which was buttered and grilled, yummy! I ordered the "traditional" breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage patties and 2 huge pancakes. All of the food was excellent. Our server, Abigail, was nice and efficient. I'm so glad we drove by this place. The service was amazing Elizabeth was outstanding! We got sat asap! We got our drink orders taken asap! I got the traditional Eggs benedict with home fries and fruit. I haven't had a traditional eggs benedict in a while. It was seasoned to perfection. The potatoes were great, and the fruit was fresh. Who doesn't love a good diner feel, the booth are large and cozy. The coffee was unlimited and actually very good. My waitress was Brittany or Breanna i apologize for forgetting. Either way she was very good to be the only waitress on the floor working with the tables. It was about 7 am so maybe only one waitresses is in at that time. They have both qr code menus and paper menus.I ordered an omelette with rye bread, and grits. The grits were solid definitely gotta add some salt and pepper but good nonetheless. Family friendly environment and lots of folks from multiple generations. Food was so so in my opinion. Crab cake Benedict was delicious, but the grits were watery. Not enough cheese could save lack of substance in those grits. I asked for a water with lemon and was given a plain water. Waiter circled back with coffee, which I mistook for free. I didn't necessarily want this coffee, but was charged for it. I had to ask again for the lemon for my water halfway through my meal. I let that go, but kept this in mind when it came to tipping. My coworkers and I were in the area and needed to grab a quick and filling early lunch so qw stopped here on the suggestion ofnone of our group. She said their breakfasts were awesome. Since it was around 11, we were avle to get breakfast or lunch. I had the blt on rye which was delicious. The fries were too. They were super crispy and nice and hot. One of my coworkers was being good and ordered the chef salad, which as you can see bynthe photos was humongous! Two people got breakfast combos and... pro tip.. you can get some of their special breakfast breads instead of regular toast. One person had the tuna melt. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Yesterday AM we finally made it here after a few people recommended coming here for breakfast. I've always never been in a rush to come here because I always wondered where do you park besides the limited parking in front. Well there is some parking in the back and one of the 3 entrances is on the west side of the building steps from the parking lot. For the ambiance itself, it was large, spacious and very clean. We were welcomed right away. The service was great as Caitlin C. was very friendly and engaged with our 20 month old (which is key). I ordered the Eggs Benedict Florentine and it was quite good. Now there was some striped pieces of bacon (unless that was their Canadian Bacon?) in there so I think next time i'd rather get it on the side. I asked to get the home fries crisped up which they accomodated and it was good. I also appreciated how big they cut up the veggies in their skillets. Came here with the family before we left for a cruise. Service was good and the waitress was great with all of our questions. The food was good, but was a little on the pricey side. They have lots of different quiche flavors, which I like. You can buy them by the slice. I felt like the quiche was a little overpriced for what you got. It's just a slice, with a side of fruit and then a big piece of bread. I do wish there was a little more substance. If I came back, I'd probably skip the quiche or order something else. This restaurant is less than a block away from my daughters dance studio, so it was an easy decision to give it a try on a Saturday morning. It's a lovely location on the Main Street lined with venerable Crepe Myrtles planted when your grandpa was a baby. The front porch invites you in with its generous outside seating. We were seated immediately, and our server, Megan, had our coffee poured minutes afterward. The interior is bright and large enough to appreciate the privacy. The menu is old-school breakfast and served quicker than most drive-throughs. I ordered the traditional--because sometimes it's best not to try the caramel pecan waffle even when you really want to--and my wife ordered the chicken skillet. My meal was good with the bacon crisped perfectly and the eggs actually over medium. Unfortunately my wife didn't care for the mushrooms in her skillet and she didn't finish. Megan popped in, topping off our coffees and clearing dishes as soon as we were done. We sat around and chatted for quite a while and never felt rushed or unwelcome. Why oh Why? Benedict's is a small, local chain. The Largo location is larger and nicer than some of the others. The servers are very nice. I only wish that the food had matched the rest. The scrambled eggs were good but could have been fluffier. The ham was nice but should have had a better sear. The biscuit was heavy and doughy. Worst was the grits which were so bland that adding butter and salt couldn't help. Also not very good was the French toast. Even though it was very thick bread, it was still soggy in the middle. The server was kind to take it off the bill and to replace the grits with a very nice bowl of fruit. When a restaurant has a nice atmosphere and very good servers, it's a shame that the kitchen brings it down. read more

I've known about Benedict's restaurants for a while now, having driven by they're Dunedin restaurant many a time. So I was looking forward to Largo's newest restaurant on West Bay Dr. They have quite an extensive menu for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast: They have seven different types of eggs Benedict, traditional, Florentine, corn beef hash, smoked salmon are a few of them. They have various skillets, breakfast sandwiches, quiche, omelettes, and not to be forgotten waffles, pancakes, and French toast. Lunch: Burgers, Patty melts, Philly cheesesteak, Rubens, Lots of salads, and soup's. But I was here to check out their namesake, eggs Benedict. So I ordered the country Benedict, biscuit, sausages, pouched eggs with sausage gravy. Imagine my surprise when my country eggs Benedict came out with hollandaise sauce! But fear not, our terrific waitress Pamela made it right. My new Country Benedict came as ordered slathered with sausage gravy, which by the way was one of the best sausage gravy's I have tasted! Poached eggs were done perfectly with just the right amount of delicious yoke, also the home fries were seasoned perfectly. This whole meal came with a side dish of fruit, hit the spot, I will definitely be coming back here. Ask for Pamela, you won't regret it. read more

The food wasn't bad could use some more seasoning. The skillet dish we had isn't actually cooked and served in the skillet rather than a ceramic dish. It needed that skillet flavor! The waffle was good. The country fried steak was good it had sausage gravy on top. Breakfast potatoes needed some help with seasoning and needed more crisp on them. They didn't have any color whatsoever. The service was pretty good and the atmosphere was nice and calm on a nice sunny beach day yesterday. Liked this location better than the one in Pinellas Park. Large restaurant but parking is limited. Small parking lot in the back or off street parking which was very limited. We both got the western omelet. It was very good. Home fries are just potato chunks, no seasoning .. good rye bread. Service was great and food came out pretty quick. This place is really good for a nearby diner. I usually come here when working for a quick late breakfast. The staff is always friendly and usually prompt. I will say I need to order extra capers for my salmon breakfast as sometimes it is forgotten so pending the wait staff ya get minor issues like that happen but I typically come here once a week.
