Delicious n' Nutritious!
Shaun D.

I needed to change my eating habits immediately and decided to visit CAVA in my neighborhood of Timonium MD. I was so pleased with how professional, informative and courteous the young man was. He explained the healthy options and even gave feedback about the deliciousness of each item. I chose to "Build My Own' with Healthy Greens, Basmati Rice, Hummus, pita chips, greek dressing/honey/ what and he blessed me with a courtesy homeade lemonade! Thank you Cava I feel great and am striving to lose weight. From Pizza to Cava all the way!

I loveee cava in New York City and in Boston but when I heard there was one nearby on my trip, we had to go! Place was clean and the line went quick. This was the first time trying the Pita Chips and OMG - delishhhh! I will be getting them everytime I go to Cava. This was also my first time trying the green mint drink and it was very refreshing

Yummy pita wrap!

We arrived at the wrong time: 5:30 on a hot, muggy Saturday afternoon. I noticed slips for several pick up orders on the counter. Strike 1. There were three in my group: my kids and yours truly. The CaVa team alternated between take out orders and ours. In other words, we were in line some quite a while. Sadly, people behind us in line were losing patience and left. Strike 2. When it came to checking out I thought I gave the cashier 60 bucks. He thought I gave 80. I simply said maybe I had two bills stuck together when I got them from the ATM as the bills were newly circulated. That kerfuffle lasted a while. More customers left. Was I trying to pull a film flam on the cashier or vice versa? Regardless, i conceded I MAY have tendered 60 bucks. For a $53 and change order, cashier turned over $10 in change. Ball 1. After eating I summoned the manager to my table and mentioned cashier applied some bad math and I gave him $3.50. The food? I ordered the curated Harissi Chicken bowl and the kids each built their own. We all ordered fountain drinks. The kids had their new age beverages and I enjoyed my Maine Root pop. I drew a black cherry soda but it tasted like root beer. I can't say Strike 3 but I'll rate this visit three stars. The food, as usual, was a home run. Am I supposed to say something about ambiance in order to cover all the bases? Let's just say "contemporary, utilitarian and sterile." As most fast casual joints are these days. And I do empathize with the Cava team as they seemed to be short on help.

My food was delicious though- thank goodness because I was hungry.

Order ahead- you might get there before they make your food. They are disorganized and rude. I will not order here again. Messy- they hadn't filled a bunch of orders.

This was Tulip Grill before so I don't know what it looks like now since the hubby picked up our order. Parking is not too bad but be aware that it can get busy due to DD, Lantern Sushi & Roy's are nearby. They notified my hubby that they needed 5 more minutes to get all our order cooked, and put together. Minor comment- though I like the flavor both green and tamarind sauces were a little thin. I like a thicker sauce for dipping. Also the fries though well-seasoned could be crunchier. Still highly recommend trying them out. I have two more meals from my platter.

Everything on the menu is packing a fairly hefty punch of flavor, and the servings are generous. There was a short line when I arrived, but the counter-style service moved pretty quickly and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Sometimes counter-style is surly and brusque; not here. The staff go out of their way to make sure that you get all the toppings you might enjoy. As a first-time customer, I appreciated that. The shop itself is small with some seating but nobody was dining in; this was not because it's not popular (see the aforementioned line), I think they're just primarily geared towards takeout. I'll definitely be back, especially if I'm in the neighborhood anyway.

Food is great with their bowls with rice, lettuce, chicken, couscous, & various other ingredients. Staff is nice enough. But my complaints arise in May & more so in September 2023. December 2022: On my way to seeing my parents for Christmas, I popped in a movie at AMC Owings Mills. I bundled up greatly as Friday, December 23, 2022 was when the Polar Vertex came in, temperatures fell throughout the day. That night after my movie before my dinner at Mezeh, the temperature was down to 10 F, but high winds made feel like the -10's. It was less than ideal timing to be going up for Christmas, but I had to do what I had to do. Food was great as it's been at any Mezeh I've been to. May 2023: After a movie at AMC Owings Mills on Sunday, May 21, I popped in again. Their drink machine was broken. I said I wanted a cup of water, but they at least had a back up plan with bottled water for free, which was good. It's still not good though to have the drink machine broken. September 2023: On Friday, September 1, I had an unusual travel to Owings Mills as I had to pick up a parking pass from my condo company's office. I got a Doubleheader of movies at AMC Owings Mills. Between the 2 movies, I got a quick dinner at Mezeh. And after over 3 months later, their drink machine was still broken! That was completely unacceptable. They should've taken care of that quickly. I couldn't believe it. They did give me the bottled water. It was poor business. I do really like Mezeh, but if I had wanted to boycott for that nonsense, I didn't have time as I was pressed for time between my 2 movies. In conclusion, would I return to this Mezeh? Maybe, staff didn't piss me off. It's just rare I'm at Owings Mills.

Clean, vibrant, friendly and plenty of optionality and variety in the food and combinations…read more Aside from Cava, I would say Mezeh is absolutely one of my favorite fast-casual sit-down or grab n'go spots. This location in particular is close to home, reasonably priced and always a treat whenever I find myself in the metro area of downtown Owings Mills. Convenient and appropriately situated local next to a whole slew of stores, restaurants and shopping depots!.

All I can say is WOW. My dining partner and I had such an amazing experience here. First of all,…read morethe restaurant is gorgeous inside. We had an earlier dinner reservation so it wasn't as crowded at the beginning but was quite busy at the end. We tried a couple different cocktails and I loved both of mine - Ashta Affair and Asfar So Good. The Ashta Affair was sweet and creamy and the Asfar So Good was deliciously refreshing. My friend really enjoyed his Old Fashioned Date and had a fun experience trying the El Massaya Arak. For appetizers, we ordered Muhamara and Mousakhan Chicken Rolls. The Muhamara came with pita and was such a great dip. The chicken rolls were equally as good with their own sumac labneh dip we enjoyed. For entrees, we shared the Braised Lamb Shank and Makloubeh. The portions were large and the meat was tender. Neither were over seasoned and were absolutely delicious. We couldn't finish it all and saved the rest for leftovers - yum! We wanted to try their dessert and ending up getting the Ashta Bil Asal and Ruz Bil Karaz. The Ashta Bil Asal had cotton candy which made it a fun dessert to try and the Ruz Bil Karaz had a great caramelization coating. Neither were overly sweet which we preferred. It was such a great ending to our meal. I absolutely loved my experience here. Our server, Miriam, was friendly and attentive. We even chatted with the GM, Iman, who also made sure we were provided a great first experience. I cannot recommend this place enough for anyone who's looking for a boujee but amazing time!

We started with Arabic coffee and the Harra Wala cocktail--both were really good. The coffee was strong and flavorful, and the cocktail was unique and refreshing. For food, we ordered batata harra, beetroot hadiqa, lentil soup, saffron pita pie, and saffron rice. Everything was solid, but the saffron pita pie and batata harra were probably my favorites. The lentil soup was super comforting too. For dessert, we got the raspberry sorbet and baklava--perfect way to end the meal. The sorbet was light and refreshing, and the baklava was sweet and flaky. Service was great. Our server made sure we enjoyed our meal and was available to explain the menu options and checking on time to time if we need anything. Overall, a great experience. I'd definitely go back!
