This is one of my new favorite lunch spots in Orlando. It's quick, the interior is well-designed, it's reasonably priced, and most importantly, the food is delicious. I've tried the Greek wrap as well as the lamb, and both were packed full of flavor. The ingredients are fresh, the portions are spot on, and their drinks are also amazing (I had the mint lemonade which was perfectly refreshing on a hot day and not too sweet). This chain is really fantastic. I've tried the spicy lamb meatball, the spicy chicken and the steak + feta wraps. They are all excellent, especially the steak! I didn't customize any of these...just went with their creations as is, and let me tell you these things are packing serious FLAVOR. I can't believe i took me so long to try Cava. I have always seen rave reviews about it and wanted to finally try it out. I was greeted upon entering and the young lady taking my order did a great job of explaining everything. I ended up going with a salad bowl with the lamb meatballs and a bunch of other veggies and toppings. It was so darn good. I loved that everything tasted fresh and the meal was pretty healthy. I was a little nervous about the meatballs because lamb is not my favorite, but they were moist and flavorful. I've always had a great experience at Cava, but not at this location. You walk in- you're greeted by silence and a death stare. There's a blonde girl who has her hair in two braids- she gave me the worst service I've ever had in my life. You go to a restaurant and ask for something, but you receive the complete opposite. Not because of a mistake. She basically made my whole order up for me. When I asked for my base, she gave me an attitude, on top of that, did not give me what I wanted. Moved on to another girl who did my toppings, and I wasn't even done with my base order. So I had to tell her to start from the beginning again. I felt rushed, unheard, and uncomfortable. If you want to feel this way, come to this location. You'll get exactly what you didn't ask for. read more

I would call this place the upgraded and better quality version of Chipotle with a Mediterranean taste. We ordered a signature bowl they had but you're able to customize and build your own bowls. The blonde girl with the braided pigtails wearing a black hat with a V working who did the base scoops completely disregarded my request and gave me the ugliest most nastiest attitude and look I have ever received. I am allowed to get 2 scoops of my own choice of rices that were given and this blonde employee did not give me what rices I wanted and chose to ignore me which lead to my order being messed up. It was disgusting knowing workers like this still give customers this type of crap. Her attitude and manners are gonna be the reason why customers will not be coming back to this cava. I've been to CAVA multiple times because the food is so good, however this time the service was what really ruined it for me. The bowl comes with two choices of dressing and when I ordered the garlic dressing online I wanted to get an additional side of the garlic sauce, but that wasn't an option. When I went for the counter, I asked to order an additional side of garlic sauce and they immediately responded saying they were out. However, right before me someone ordered the garlic dressing and she poured it for them. The bottle was just empty and she didn't want to refill it. When I received my bowl 20 minutes later after the pick up time, there was garlic dressing on it. So I know they had extra in the back. I was willing to pay for an additional side even though I shouldn't have had to. Overall I was disappointed in the service I received tonight. read more

We ordered some dressings on the side and didn't get half of them. We were supposed to have 6 different side dressings with our orders. We had 6 sides of dressing, 3 of one and 3 of the other. Stumbled upon this place, and it was a great experience. They were having a soft opening and offering a free meal. I got a Greek chicken pita wrap, and it was really good. If you're looking for something quick, fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced, Cava is a great option. The staff is friendly and the food is flavorful. There are plenty of options to choose from. The saffron rice base and harissa honey chicken are my go to's. I've been experimenting with different toppings, dips and spreads. Some of my favorites include the harissa, crazy feta, roasted eggplant, lentil tabbouleh and the garlic sauce (pairs well with the pita chips as well) I am also a fan of the juices; there is a traditional soda machine but there are also several seasonal house-made juices to choose from. My favorite is the blueberry lavender lemonade. As for the portion sizes, there are definitely inconsistencies. On my first visit, it was minuscule but on my second, it was plentiful. Regardless, I left both times satisfied. I will be back! read more

The service & food are spot on here! While there is typical turnover among the servers like you see elsewhere, this place is more consistent than other Cava's we have been to throughout SC, GA, TX, and FL. Every time we come in, the customer service is on point, it's clean, and the food tastes like it should. It truly has been a let down to go to locations in Columbia, SC, Athens, GA, Augusta, GA, various in Atlanta, GA, various in Orlando, FL, various in Houston, TX, and even Gainesville, FL. While this sounds like a lot, you have to understand, this place is a staple for our family so we look for a Cava wherever we are traveling. Chris and Micky keep the front of house on par while Sirmontay keeps the kitchen in order. You never feel like a number here in Winter Park and you never have to guess how the meat will taste that day because it's consistent! And, you can count on being greeted with a smile to help set the ambiance vs. an attitude like we've experienced in many of the aforementioned locations. We are not sure who the head manager is because these guys take charge and anytime they are busy, even when they're not, you see them working. Paid just short of $20 for one bowl with double protein and avocado. The bowl was not even half full super small pieces of chicken, and 4 quarter size lamb meatballs. The avocado which was literally half of a regular avocado for $2.25 extra. For a bowl that price I could have eaten at Prato and have gotten a nice freshly cooked meal with a drink. read more

Feta cheese everywhere and it seemed like an easy place for cross contamination especially for vegan options.
