So I would like to start off by saying I went here with a friend to just get a cocktail because we ate at another restaurant and just wanted to try it out. I ordered the fried shrimp appetizer and the Pornstar Cocktail (naturally). The shrimp tasted like it literally came out of a frozen bag and was microwaved so much to the point I was convinced they didn't have a kitchen lol. The cocktail was really good though. Y'all know me though....always give places more than once to woo you. It's only fair. The service was great. There was a women who made a reservation for a big party. She arrived late and was plain rude to server/owner because she was falling behind. The server was handling the unfair treatment well. This woman also wanted the table we were sitting at. She was so distracting and loud. We were fine to move over. We felt so bad for the waitress. It very much pains me to write this review but I just have to. Came in as a large group for a team dinner. The restaurant was kind enough to accommodate us and confirmed such ahead of time. The service was great across the board; the waiters and manager were very attentive to our requests. The ambiance was quiet and modern. The food on the other hand was tasteless across the board. Half the group did not enjoy their meal and complained about no flavor, some food being cold and overall mediocre food being overpriced. It seems like a nice spot to grab a drink or pregame before going out. They also had a liquor menu but no liquor; everything was wine based. We lucked out finding this hidden gem in Winter Park! The service is warm, welcoming and friendly and the food is delicious! We started our evening with a glass of wine and a sangria. Our server suggested the Mix Dip Platter and it was sooo good! The dips consisted of hummus, spicy yogurt, eggplant and stuffed grape leaves. This is served with a nice basket of pita bread. Everything was fresh and so tasty! For our entrees we opted for the grilled salmon and the grilled jumbo shrimp. Everything was well seasoned and the portions were generous. My experience at the Bridge was good. It is a really cute place to come and dine in. The service we had was really amazing I can say that and the food was really good. A few things that I wish didn't happen: when boxing my food that I was taking home, they took away part of the food so I was kind of bummed by that (they box your food for you). It was also very hot and it did not get better throughout my time at the restaurant, as it was a hot summer evening. I believe something was going on with the AC, so it made it a little uncomfortable during my time here. The food, service and ambiance were on point making me stay. This is such a cute spot off Park Ave in Winter Park. I was looking for a brunch spot with outdoor seating so I could bring my dog. They were so welcoming to my pup and brought her a water bowl and made she had a shady place to lay down. They offered both brunch and full menu at the time so that was great for options. they have mimosas and bloody mary's for brunch and their bar has drinks that are wine based so it was very interesting! I went with the winter blue, for a pretty colored drink and a shrimp cocktail. The presentation of both was amazing! Visited at 5pm hoping for happy hour and was disappointed to find out their happy hour was 2-5. No problem, we opted to sit on the patio and ordered a couple glasses of Sauvignon Blanc and some french fries to snack on. Wine took nearly 15 minutes to arrive and pours were generous, but arrived very warm. I also strongly suspect they swapped out the New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc (my go to) we ordered for a California Sauvignon Blanc. French fries took almost 25 minutes. We were with our two young children and checked out the kids menu, but $17 for sliders and French fries is absolutely outrageous, even for Park Avenue. The restaurant was quite empty - yet service was slow and awkward. At one point we could see the server/bartender (?) texting on her phone at the bar as we were waiting for our second warm glass. She was pleasant and kind (and patient with our little ones) but very slow and didn't seem trained well at all. We will likely not return. read more

I hate to knock a place down, but I have to say that I was thoroughly disappointed with my experience here. Lets evaluate. Food - severely overrated in price. The food here is mediocre at best, almost similar to someone who is making you something quick and modified at home. Very underwhelming. I had the grilled cheese and soup- it was lacking really in any flavor and was not worth the price buffalo cauliflower - again disappointing, the cauliflower was not cooked to a crisp and overall it was soggy and not that flavorful My biggest biggest pet peeve here are the cocktails The restaurant does not have a liquor license so their entire bar menu is based off of wine. Now rather than serving just different wine and sparkling, and beer - they are making classic cocktails with a wine base. Like an old fashioned with a cherry wine as the base instead of bourbon.... The service here is unexpectedly slow as well. There is not enough staff for a busy Sunday lunch hour and many patrons were complaining of their extended wait time post-order. I personally felt that it was such a challenge getting anyone's attention and would have to flag whoever walked by at that point. Overall, for the cost per meal and the ambience, this restaurant has greatly disappointed me. I think they really need to rethink their entire model from too many menu options (it's really overwhelming) to price to staffing to maybe obtaining a proper liquor license. There is so much about this restaurant that I love. The service is wonderful and the kitchen delivers. On my first visit I ordered the swordfish and it was perfection. The meat was mild and slightly sweet. The seasoning was delicious. I also loved the eggplant and hummus appetizer. It's a must order. Recently I returned for drinks and appetizers and again was blown away by the service and food quality. The mixed dip platter was so good that we ordered a second one. It has hummus, eggplant, guacamole and a spicy yogurt dip. It is all excellent with the spicy yogurt being my favorite. read more

What a great experience! My boyfriend and I were walking by and was immediately invited in by this establishment. We sat down at the bar and our bar tenders, Garrett and Benji explained the menu to us. All their cocktails are wine infused which makes each drink a little stronger than you may think. We ordered the Winter Blue and NY Fashion. Both drinks were very unique but delicious! The establishment is very clean and well put together. We plan to come back and try their bar food. Beautiful Restaurant! Situated on one of the cute little streets of Winter Park, the only thing I was concerned about for this place was parking. I knew everything else would be top notch. Servers couldn't be friendlier, and even welcomed us with a Beautiful Rose for my Mom on Mother's Day. There's a really cute outside seating area. Small and reminiscent of a New York restaurant, but really cute. I love everything about the style of the place. Everything except the bathrooms really. Super nice bathrooms, don't get me wrong, but maybe it was just the seating arrangements that day but you literally have to awkwardly walk through people eating in front of a curtain and open said-curtain (sometimes hitting customers in the face with it) before finding where the door is. Just weird. Food-wise, this place was a hit. My mom loved her omelet and literally had no problems with it. My mom ALWAYS finds something wrong with her food no matter where we eat. I was shocked. Big props to this place for making my mom happy on Mother's Day. My Eggs Benny was perfect. Perfectly cooked, great presentation, nice portions, and super tasty. My Bloody Mary was friggin awesome too. The Bacon here was a bit weird, as are most of the meats, as they don't do Pork. Totally fine and really wasn't a problem, I just never had beef bacon before. First time visiting and just in time for Disney's Magical Dining, 3-course, pre fixe menu! The food was amazing as was the service. Alec was our server and he was great! Congratulate him on his recent engagement if you happen to get him. Drinks are wine based, they don't have a full bar, but that didn't take away from their delicious pineapple margarita (wine based) that they offer. I would definitely visit again. Nice relaxed vibe, indoor and outdoor seating available. Music piped in through a speaker. I could have literally sat, ate and drink all day. The Bridge Special Selection was delicious every meat was cooked to perfection! Just a note that you can't change the sides.. it came with turkish pilaf and seasonal vegetables. Decent restaurant! I came here for the magical dining experience. Oh my guest and I takes it off the magical dining list. I had the guacamole which was very flavorful and my guest had the yogurt dip. The portions were a little small but the flavors were all there. I had to seafood linguini as the meal am I guess had the skewers. We were both pleased with our meal. The apple crepe and lava cake were the dessert choices. I'm not a huge dessert fan but I thought the apple crêpe was light and just enough sweetness for a guy who does not like sweets. I don't think I'm coming back no time soon, first things for starters they do not have their liquor license so all their alcohol is wine-based. Which is definitely not gonna get you buzzed nor drunk. We walked in and we see literally eight people surrounding each other and all of them just literally having a conversation amongst one another would you let me know they're all on the clock but no one's really doing much of anything because there wasn't much people in the restaurant. We ordered the drinks and we were just dissatisfied with them all, however the Prosecco was probably the best. Because I saw how the menu was I just decided to go with the sliders. I just thought it was the safest thing that I could get. I decided to get it and it was OK, the fries were probably the best part of the entire meal. My friends also got the lamb chops and they enjoyed it as well. Another friend of mine decided to go with the cheese sticks and that was delicious we put together. Then towards the end we got the bill and what was more shocking was the gratuity that they added to it all, we were more than a group of six but definitely didn't think the amount of gratuity that they put on us was deserved. I visited this place with my family. It's a relaxing, comfortable atmosphere. The service was great. The server was attentive. The food was just alright for the most part. We ordered 3 salmon burgers which my family said were lacking in flavor. In fact, a member of my party only ate half of the burger. They said it tasted like they just threw it on the grill without seasoning the fish. The Bridge burger was pretty good, it was juicy and flavorful. I would recommend it. It comes with a gold sheet on the burger too. The lamb was amazing! It was the best meal by far! Yum!- highly recommend. The grilled chicken cubes were alright. My toddler enjoyed it, and he's a picky eater. My niece ate a penne pasta with grilled chicken. Not sure how it tasted. The Litchie martini was lacking the lychee flavor. I didn't enjoy it. Not sure how the 16 hour trip tasted, no one raved about it though. They offered free tea to my mom. She seemed to enjoy it. I complained and nothing was done. My friend ordered a $19 quesadilla which was equally pitiful, just a tortilla and grease basically. No salsa, no guac, no sides... it was a step below bar food. Magical Dining at The Bridge in Winter Park. I was excited to try this place and it was 'ok'. The place is very hip and well decorated and played fun happy birthday music when it was a person's birthday - there were two that night. The food was fine but nothing special especially in comparison to other restaurants on Park Ave and nearby. The wine we selected was excellent. The Caesar salad dressing was super salty but the cheese 'rolls' and eggplant were quite good. The chicken kabobs came out not cooked throughout and the restaurant was so dark that we didn't realize it right away and unfortunately had eaten a couple of bites. The rice was delicious. We sent the kabobs back and got another set but had lost our appetite a bit so those went home. The lava cake with gelato and the baklava were delicious. They made me a fermented margarita, first time ever seeing that & I loved it. Tasted just like a margarita. Thinking out of the box! 2.7/5 - The food looked and tasted like it was made hours prior and re-heated before serving. We got the shawarma, fried seafood platter, penne a la vodka (one with salmon and one with shrimp). The salmon and the lamb were very dry and had crispy edges like when you leave something out uncovered for a while. The calamari from the appetizer latter was soggy like it has been fried way before, the fries were under cooked and flavorless, the only good thing was the panko fried shrimp and the jumbo shrimp from the pasta platter. All alcoholic beverages were wine based which is always a bummer in my opinion. The drinks were good but did not meet expectations; we had the sex on the bridge and the pornstar martini. The service and seating was great! Which is the only reason I'm not giving them one star! The only thing keeping this restaurant alive is being on park Ave which makes for the perfect ambiance.
