Our very first visit here... This is part of Bally's Casino in Evansville, Indiana so it would not be fare to compare to places we have dined at in Las Vegas at casinos. We made reservations in advance and were seated right away upon our arrival. The staff was very polite and professional. Our table was by the window with a river view. The restaurant was nicely dimmed and the atmosphere was one of fine dining. The singing piano player in the bar area was an unexpected surprise and was very enjoyable. We started our meal with a couple of appetizers, my wife had the French Onion Soup and found it tasty. I had the Tuna Poke, it was ok but can't say I would order it again. For our dinner my wife had the Prime Rib (which comes by itself). I had a chef feature the Blackened Redfish over Corn salsa. We split an order of Augratan Potatoes. Wifey loved the Prime Rib and she knows her prime rib!!! The Potatoes were a hit!!! The fish was good but would have been helped with a little more blackening and some more viscous sauce. The bread accompanying the meal was fresh but does not come warm to the table. A nice touch was the fresh roasted garlic that comes with the butter. The meal was very enjoyable and filling, service as great! Only reason I don't do five stars is I save that for places that go above and beyond. Dinner for 2 was about $150. We felt that was a fare price for what we received. Nice stop for a weekend getaway dinner.

Lovely upscale restaurant situated on the Ohio River. The bar is a nice last minute option, and window tables make for a stellar dinner with a view overlooking the water. Nice cocktail list too.

The restaurant consists of three floors, all decorated amazingly. We were seated in the basement area and had a wonderful server named Jordan. We started off with drinks. I had a non-alcoholic strawberry garden fizz, my husband had a tequila old fashioned, and our son had a Shirley Temple. For an appetizer we shared the Maine Lobster Caprese. Next we ordered the Nando wedge and French onion soup. For our entrees we enjoyed the Maine Diver Scallop Bucatini, Agrodolce Wild Duck Breast, and our son had sides of macaroni and cheese and Parmesan Truffle Pommes Frites. While we were absolutely full after these courses and had parts of our meal boxed to go, our son insisted he had an extra stomach for dessert. We ordered the Lemon Tart and Creme Brulee. We had the bourbon soaked cherries that came with the crème brulee put on the side. The menu selections, the ambiance, the staff, and especially the food were all amazing. We can't wait to come back with other family and friends. *I did forget to snap a few pictures of some of our dishes.

I couldn't wait to try it out after I saw it. It wasn't super busy when I was there but was really impressed that the gentleman seating patrons chose the perfect spot for my daughter and I. She is in a wheelchair and the booth he set for us had a nice amount of room on the end so she was able to scoot nice and close to the table. They have paper on all the tables and bring out paper plates and plastic ware for you to enjoy your cheesy garlic toast and appetizers on. Our server was amazing and very attentive. She brought out that cheesy garlic bread and it was delicious! It didn't take long at all after we finished our bread that she brought out our appetizer. We chose hush puppies and there was a nice honey mustard type sauce that was served with them. They weren't the best hush puppies I've ever had but certainly not the worst either. My daughter loved them and she normally doesn't care for them. It wasn't long and our meal came out. Her catfish and Cajun fries were piping hot. My crawfish etoufee and white rice wasn't quite as hot. It was very tasty but could've been a smidge warmer. We didn't safe room for dessert however they do have options if you are so inclined and have saved room. The one downfall, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is that it isn't very wheelchair accessible. We had to use the restroom when we were there and it was a little difficult to maneuver thru all the closed doors to get where we needed to go. That would be the only thing I would suggest working on! Otherwise this place is excellent! I cannot wait to come back and try some of the other dishes and drinks!

For our appetizer, we tried the crab cakes, and we were not disappointed. My date ordered the bone-in pork chop with roasted potatoes and broccoli. The pork chop was tender, juicy, and well seasoned. The roasted potatoes were cooked to perfection and tasty. I ordered the scallops florentine butterfish special for Mother's Day with a side of kung pao brussels sprouts and broccoli. My date and I both agreed that the broccoli left us disappointed, as it was bland and not seasoned (as we have found at most restaurants). My fish and scallops were tender and fresh. The kung pao Brussels sprouts were flavorful and had a nice caramelization. It's definitely a great date night spot!

I've been to various locations and can always count on a solid meal, so you now have a loyal customer! Service is always stellar, and tonight was no different. My only complaint, if I'm being picky, was that I sat at the bar, and the lighting was so dark I couldn't hardly see my food. I'm all about setting the mood, but it was a little extreme, and I don't recall it being that way at any other location. I had one of the specials, the unicorn fish and that was my first time ever trying that particular species. It came with a diablo sauce that had just enough spice, rice and perfectly cooked asparagus. I was offered bread and dessert and even a drink Togo and enjoyed chatting with the bartender. He also told me about a social bourbon dinner that was coming up and gave me the menu for it. Unfortunately I am just passing through but it looked like something I would totally attend. It was crunchy and fresh with a nice amount of toppings. The fillet was good but pretty standard in my opinion and not anything that stood out. One thing is that they forgot someone's steak and we had to wait until they brought it out. It took about 15 minutes for it to come out and when it did it was raw. Overall I'm not complaining for a comped meal but if i was paying i would probably not come back with how expensive this place is for what you get. The service was not amazing but I would cut them some slack being that they just opened and we were a big party. It was all good but not anything special compared to other steakhouses I've been to. Disappointing Experience After Years of Loyalty…read more My husband and I have been regular customers for years and have visited this restaurant several times a month. We have always enjoyed the steaks, seafood, and especially the salad bar. Unfortunately, our last visit was enough for us to decide we won't be returning. For quite some time, the quality of the lettuce on the salad bar has been declining. I'm not talking about a few rusty edges--I'm talking about brown, transparent, wilted lettuce that should never be served to paying customers. Over the last 10 visits, I'd estimate 8 of them had lettuce in unacceptable condition. I've always picked around it and kept quiet. This time, after paying premium prices once again, I politely mentioned that the lettuce was not fresh. I was told multiple times that they were "working on it." Thirty-five minutes later, my husband had finished his entire meal while I was still waiting for fresh lettuce. The salad was my meal. When the lettuce was finally replaced, there was very little fresh lettuce put out. To make matters worse, while I was serving myself, old brown lettuce was dumped onto the area where I was getting my salad, including on my tongs. Whether intentional or not, it felt dismissive and unprofessional. What disappointed me most wasn't just the lettuce--it was the lack of urgency and concern. The waitress could clearly see that I had no meal while I waited, yet the situation dragged on for over half an hour. When you're charging roughly $25 for a salad bar and over $70 for dinner for two, customers should not have to beg for fresh lettuce or wait 35 minutes for a basic ingredient to be replaced. We genuinely loved this restaurant and gave it chance after chance because we wanted to support a local business. Sadly, this experience was the final straw. We won't be back. Fresh food and attentive service shouldn't be too much to expect at these prices.
