He showed up within the time window he gave me and they checked in at certain points of the work to make sure I was happy with the amount they were trimming. They also took care when trimming over my neighbor's driveway and near my roof. I will be happy to call him again when I have landscaping needs. They did a great job.

Having just purchased a new home and getting a pool put in, I went into our landscaping project on…read morea strict budget ($6000) and with very few ideas. I initially asked 5 different companies to come out and give us some quotes and design ideas. Some had some nice ideas (but way to expensive), some took weeks to send out their bids, and others, well they didn't even bother showing up (I'm guessing because of our budget). Eduardo on the other hand, came out two different times (I'll explain later why) took measurements and sent us a bid, including itemized expenses and designs so we could visualize what our back yard could look like. The first time Eduardo came out I told him I wanted a walk way to connect our driveway through the side of the house and onto our back patio, landscape rock/gravel, some curbing, and an irrigation system (I was planning in on putting sod in myself at a later time). He came in right on budget. We decided to hold off on doing any work because I read in the pool contract, that when a pool is being constructed the pool builder is not responsible for any damage done to existing landscaping. Eduardo understood and never once pressured us or tried to get us to put down a deposit, this was in April. In July once were finally settled in the home and no more heavy equipment was going to be coming into the yard, we contacted Eduardo again to come to give us some new ideas. The idea for our lawn needed to change now that pool had been excavated and because the Mrs. wanted to have some input. This time we asked Eduardo, for stamped concrete to connect the drive way through the side of the house to our back patio, to build a retaining wall that could double as a gardening area, level, remove and haul away dirt from around the pool to add additional decking area, gravel, irrigation, curbing, and 300 Sq feet of sod. As you can see our demands doubled and so did his bid (rightfully so). We shared with Eduardo that our budget had not changed, he understood and instead he assisted us in determining what could be done first and what could wait. Ultimately, we hired his team to; complete the stamped concrete, build a retaining wall, and to level, remove and haul away dirt from around the pool, as well as add about 380 sq ft of additional concrete to the perimeter of our pool (the 380 sq ft put us $1500 over budget but we needed to do it so the pool fence could be put it.) Once we signed the contract (digitally) and gave a deposit of 50% (also online), Eduardo and his team went to work. During the entire process Eduardo stayed in contact, letting us know when his team would be showing up, what they would be doing and what we could expect. If you have ever had a pool put in you know their process is nothing like that. Anytime we had any questions or concerns, Eduardo was quick to respond. When we made last minute changes to the walkway, Eduardo understood made the changes we requested and gave us a new timeline for when we could expect the project to be completed. Eduardo reached out to us on 07/29 and told us our project was complete and if we had any questions. My wife and I decided to do a thorough inspection and raised some minor concerns and 1 major concern (crooked joint lines on stamped concrete). We took pictures of the issues and sent them to Eduardo, he thanked us for the visuals, so he could inform his team of what needed to be repaired and agreed to come out to our home to discuss the crooked joint lines. When we met Eduardo and his team, they took ownership of the mistake and did not make any excuses. The stamped concrete was repaired to their best of their abilities but it was evident that a mistake had been made. Eduardo agreed to give us a discount because of this mistake. Our project was completed on 7/31. The retaining wall and extra concrete around our pool is done and looks great. No project will ever be perfect and because Eduardo and his team took ownership of their mistake, provided great customer service, great communication and owned up and tried to correct their mistake I feel extremely comfortable giving them a 5 start rating and recommending their services. The next day he text at a time I wasn't available and left shortly there after when he didn't get a response. When I did answer about an hour later, I reminded him I wasn't there and explained what I needed done since some of his text were looking for clarification. Once that happened he pushed for a next day meet up, I'm almost guessing he expected to do the yard work right then and there, which would explain his frustration with me. I told him I didn't need it done yet, and I would contact him back when we were ready to schedule. Once I did get back to him to schedule something, he proceeded to bitch me out about how badly I wasted his time when I didn't answer before. I had mentioned I wouldn't be there, so if he clarified he may need to call or text, I would have been by the phone. I explained this and apologized for my part, and proceeded to schedule something the next week. We said we'd touch base the week of maintenance to confirm with each other. When I contacted him the Thursday because I had not heard from him, he proceeded to be unsure of who I was or what we spoke of at all. When I remind him, he then says he can't on the Saturday I requested now, it would have to be Wednesday. My lease was up Monday, and the yard work had to be done that weekend. I had explained this all many times before to him. With one day left of the work week, he left me utterly screwed to find anyone else. Honestly, find it fairly obnoxious he made such a big deal of wasting someone's time for an unpaid estimate after all the shinangins he pulled just trying to get a yard the equivalent of a 3 car garage cleaned. Completely hypocritical. I tried to find someone last minute and came up empty so when he suggested he could do it first thing Friday morning I agreed. But again, I warned I would not be available by phone as I was moving my rv that day. Said it was fine and the job would be $100. Friday rolls around and while I'm in the middle of nowhere, towing a 16k pound fifth wheeler down south, I start getting texts 3 hours after he said he's originally be there asking, where I was. When I already explain I a) wouldn't be there and b) wouldn't be reachable. Thankfully I wasn't in a cell dead zone yet. Once AGAIN I reiterated what needed done because he was thinking he was just whacking a handful of weeds. Feeling very uncomfortable sending money ahead when he requested payment, we agreed half up front, half at the end. While he was rushing and spamming me for his first payment, he then proceeds to tell me he misunderstood how large my yard was and was upping the price. Mind you he'd come out for an estimate (which I understand he probably needed clarification if I had been able to answer) and I contacted a confirmed multiple times before what I needed done. I wanted to end things right then and there but of course Zelle can't refund anything. So I was stuck losing $50 or paying him more to actually do the job. I agreed, he did the job and then spammed for the rest of him money, barely giving me time to do anything. Remember I'm supposed to be towing? All of this was insanely stressful on an already stressful process. The work was completely decently, and that's the only reason he got 2 stars. But the whole process to get there shouldn't have been that hard. If you have special instructions or a schedule you need to adhere to I would not recommend this person.

Even dumped a piece of furniture on the outside of our wall. They were scheduled to come on a Friday but didn't show up until Sunday. When they did the original bid inspection, they didn't even come to the door. They instead looked over the wall and came up with a bid. Then, 2 days later, they texted and asked if we could send pics of the work to be done. THEY ARE NOT LICENSED ARBORIST on any level. Just some non english speaking guys with chainsaws. As an individual who was a contractor for many year and had a landscaping division of the company, I can tell you that this is the worst "Landscaping" company I've ever seen. I recommend highly that you stay away from these fraudsters. A complaint has been filed with the Register of Contractors. The following are complaints found about this particular Morales Landscaping: *Debris Management: Crews blowing leaves, grass clippings, or yard waste into neighboring yards or onto public streets. *Property Miscommunication: Cutting or trimming specific bushes and plants against the owner's direct instructions due to language or communication gaps. *Conduct and Cleanup: Instances of workers leaving trash or improper roadside dumping behavior in public areas.Communication: *Delays in response times for scheduling, estimates, or follow-up maintenance visits.
