1st Yelp DFW Community Event at Postino-- Southlake, TX Postino's is a popular, chic wine bar & café located in Southlake Town Square-- Southlake, TX theyre known for their huge wine selection, bruschetta boards to choose from, paninis, salads and snacks. & for all of my happy hour connoisseurs they have happy hour EVERY DAY before 5p! They also have a Board + Bottle deal for $25 every Monday & Tuesday after 8p! Definitely a nice vibe!! Super Grateful for the opportunity! I was able to enjoy a Free glass of wine of my choice. I chose to have a Sparkling Rosé called Intuicion (I loved the name) and hot donut holes which are house made ricotta donut holes with salted butter chocolate, caramel and vanilla glaze dipping sauces! They were airy and fluffy!! Thank you, @Yelp -- DFW for the invitation! Looking forward to more community events in the future! #Postino #YelpDfw #Rosé #Donutholes #SouthlakeTX

Torn seat really bothered my legs

Postino is always busy and we've usually visit on weekdays around dinner time. I think they offer happy hr and bottle and board specials throughout the day. Our waitresses have always been very nice. Today I got the watermelon spritz with our donuts. The spritz was very bitter, I ended up not finishing it. The donut was the dense cakey kind with chocolate, caramel, and maybe vanilla dip. My husband ordered a board of bruschetta for us and a cider for himself. The cider was good and the board was okay. Some of the bruschettas were very burnt or lacking in toppings (made it bland). Smoked salmon very burnt Prosciutto fig very minimal topping Mushroom - okay, bland, watery mushroom Tomato bacon - okay - bit sour today Def our first visit the Bruschetta boards were our go to. Last two visits it has not tasted great to justify $18 for 4 slices of toast. We don't do wine so we don't partake in bottle and board specials. Today It was a bit hot inside and we were seated near the back which had no airflow. We were all sweating back here. The seat I was in had some tears in it and I kept readjusting or standing bc the tears would scratch my legs (I'm wearing shorts). Def can update these old seats for a busy and not inexpensive restaurant in southlake. Would come here with group of friends or events but I think for a dinner again, we'd skip.

It was my third time at Postino Southlake, and this place is always busy. It's the perfect spot for a date night or meeting up with friends. Their happy hour wine is a great deal and runs until 5:00 p.m. daily. I came on a Saturday evening, and our server, Kaiyan (I believe that was her name), was very sweet. It was my friend's first visit, so they took the time to go over the menu with her. If you're indecisive about the wine selection, they're happy to bring you a few samples. I had the Antioch, which was excellent. We shared the new herbed French fries, the table cheese, and the OMG Grilled Cheese without the smoked bacon, which came with creamy tomato soup. Everything was delicious and made for the perfect girl dinner. For dessert, we ordered the hot donut holes and the fudgy brownie. I really wanted to try the Basque cheesecake, but they were sold out, so I'll have to save that for next time. Both desserts were rich, but I preferred the brownie over the donut holes. It was a little warm inside the restaurant, but overall I look forward to coming back again.

The service was alot better than last time due to the hiccups here and there but it was definitely on point this time. The inside of the restaurant is always nice and got a little bit of retro going on but relaxed. My friend and I shared a charcuterie board which they are always good especially with the different flavors of sweet, salty, and savory. I ordered the tuna salad with the soup of the month I believe, which it was like a tomato based with cheese ravioli and it was delicious especially paired with the cucumber lemonade now that one was good, sweet, and refreshing. The food is very fulfilling so if you don't eat alot then you will have to take it to go.

The appetizers kept this as a 4. Warm Saturday hanging out at the town center. Dropped into Postinos just missed the $6 wine. The burrata was outstanding. The only critique is that they bring out 3 pieces of crustini instead of 6 or 7 to get all the cheese, tomatoes and peppers. Great flavor. We also ordered the bruschetta, there are a variety of options. We did the salmon, tomato w/ cream cheese, special with leaks and a prosciutto. They were all amazing, can't go wrong. We shared paninis to end the meal. We ordered the nine iron (smoked chicken and bacon) and the prosciutto and brie. They both were disappointing, the paninis were dry as well as the meat. The prosciutto was extremely chewy with the stings of fat making it tough. Definitely going with benefit of the doubt with the wine and appetizers. Our server was great and it was a cold spot so going with the 4.

This was my first visit to Postino's in Southlake, and I'll definitely be back. Even on a busy Saturday afternoon, we were seated right away, and I appreciated the free parking behind the restaurant. I ordered the salmon bruschetta board, and it was absolutely delicious. The combination of cooked and smoked salmon was fresh, flavorful, and easily my favorite part of the meal. While we were there, the restaurant was hosting a couple of events, It's easy to see why this place is so popular, and I'm already looking forward to coming back for their $25 board and bottle deal.

My friend and I came here for a late lunch. Our servers name was Paige and she was a great server. I'm a vegetarian and wanted to get some item swaps on the charcuterie board and she was able to easily swap things out. Sometimes it can be difficult to be accommodated, but they accommodate with ease here! All of our food was phenomenal. Since we went on a Monday afternoon, the restaurant's ambiance was rather calm and not as busy as usual. We definitely want to return for $25 board and wine deal they host on Monday and Tuesday for a late night guests!

I had a lovely time here. I was sat immediately and my order was taken right away by the server that didn't mind at all that I was interested but not quite convinced by the odd pairings for battle of the bruschetta. She was very funny and reassuring and quick to drop in to check on me. Every member of staff was incredibly kind and seemed to be in a great mood. The restaurant was completely packed with a baby shower and plenty of couples and friends out for a Saturday morning shopping date so this is definitely a well loved spot. I very much enjoyed the pea bruschetta and the basque cheesecake paired with a crisp white wine that was perfect for a hot summer brunch.

The experience was fun, went with a friend for dinner, our server Kaiya was amazing, the food was delicious we ordered OMG grilled cheese without bacon, herbed fries, and table cheese board. My friend got Antioch wine and I got the rose. Service was quick, ambiance was nice but the AC wasn't on enough for it to be cool in compared to the amount of people in the restaurant and it became pretty uncomfortable. But the experience was fun I hope the weather would be better for patio time if I went again or it was cooler inside.

The staff at Postino were very nice and friendly. They checked in on us to make sure our needs were met. I came at a busy time, it was a twenty-five minute wait for a table or sit at the bar. I opted for the bar. Great choice. I loved the ambiance. It's upscale, yet casual. The Avocado Toast and Skewers were okay. I pinch of seasoning would have made all the difference. Postino is the kind of place you meet your girls for an after work wind-down.

We stopped by for the Community Yelp event during the summer series and were excited to try the drinks and donuts offered. When we arrived, there was some confusion because the host was not familiar with the event and had to check with a manager. To his credit, he was very kind afterward and got us seated quickly. Unfortunately, the service experience after that was disappointing. We waited around 10 minutes before anyone came to take our order, and it seemed like there may have been a miscommunication with the staff. We ordered a glass of the Blume, Fiore, and 2 orders of donuts with the three glaze options. The Fiore was absolutely delicious and was definitely the highlight, but one of the drinks we received was not what we ordered and we never had the opportunity to address it because our server did not return to check on us. The atmosphere and overall space are beautiful, and I can see the potential for this to be a great spot. However, the slow service and lack of attention to detail made the experience less enjoyable than expected. We had to leave sooner than planned due to an unexpected situation, but unfortunately, the service issues would make me hesitant to return.

Postino has gotten past their growing pains and have really solidified themselves in Southlake. The service has greatly improved and the atmosphere is fantastic. The bartenders are knowledgeable about their products and are great at recommendations when they change out their offerings. Happy hour is still $6 glasses until 5 and on Monday and Tuesday they have a bottle and board deal for $25, that can't be beat. The bruschetta boards are great and they have a really interesting variety.

This is my favorite restaurant in Southlake, Texas. The town square is modeled after the town in Back to the Future....so Postino pays tribute by decorating with clocks galore. Amazing ambiance. The food is wonderful. I love the charcuterie board assortment where you can select four. So good. The service is usually spot on and always friendly.

The appetizers were better than the North Indian dishes. The paneer tikka masala and malai kofta were on the sweeter side despite us ordering them medium spicy. The kofta balls were also on the smaller side, and the paneer tikka masala had very few pieces of paneer. The chow mein was the star of the meal. It was flavorful and definitely my favorite dish. For the pakora, they only gave a small amount of green chutney, so we had to ask for more along with some tamarind chutney. There's parking behind the restaurant, which was convenient. If you're in the mood for chaat or North Indian food, I would probably choose a different restaurant.

We've driven past Craftway Kitchen more than a few times, always intrigued with a 'we have to try that place sometime'. Saturday night was sometime. Taking our chances as a party of three walk in's, the restaurant was full inside, and there were a few tables open on the patio. I generally don't like to eat on patios, because flies show up, etc. Not at Craftway... not sure what they were doing, but there wasn't a fly or other flying bug around. The patio wasn't just clean, it was meticulous. Welcoming too - It felt very much like an extension of the restaurant. Alex, our waiter was quick to bring water and menus. Returning to take drink orders, a margarita was ordered as was a glass of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. Drinks were quickly served. Water was never allowed to become empty. Alex asked if we had ever been to Craftway, we informed him this was our first visit. His ask "any allergies?" to which we said no. He disappeared, returning with an appetizer sampling plate with three items - the Reuben egg rolls, crab stuffed mushrooms, and blue cheese chips. All were fantastic! Three entrees ordered, the Chicken & Fig sandwich, Chicken Milanese and the Cajun pasta with Chicken. Food arrived; each entree was fantastic. Cooked to perfection, flavors were amazing. Dessert, shared, was a bread pudding with ice cream, a perfect finish. Alex never let beverages become empty, delivered superb service. The Chef circulated the room checking on satisfaction and chatting with patrons. Giving Craftway Kitchen a very well deserved 5-star rating. The staff did everything right! Most of the starers are mouthwatering, even the unexpected Ruben Eggrolls are a delight. Less daring items like the coconut shrimp are equally good. Without a doubt my go to entree is the Beef Wellington. I remember La Madeleine had an affordable one on their menu in the late nineties, this is reminiscent. I do usually swap out the mashed potatoes for the chopped wedge as side, just seems like the classical steakhouse side for the task. The only thing I would say that is lacking is the wine list, despite being very fairly priced. Their most bespoke bottle of red is the Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon (2021), which while amazing for the $99.99 they charged, it was fairly flat, lacking the traditional vanilla perfume you'd expect from a pricey California Cabernet Sauvignon. Also took a bottle of GH Mumm Grand Cordon, which also did not taste as anticipated. I think the most plausible explanation might be heat damage, as both wines are usually well regarded but came up short.

It definitely blows typical bar food out of the water; it's evident that the owners have restaurant and service industry experience because every little detail has been thought of. They even make their sauces in house!! The juicy thick hotdog - could not get enough. The parmesan French fries - devoured. The tasty, cheesy burger rivaled any other gourmet burger joint. The place is a great time for people of all ages. There's plenty of seating. The sports are playing, and they encourage people to socialize, chat, and play games. What's better than cold drinks, great food, and fun times with friends? My friends and I will definitely be back!

They do let you know that there is an automatic 20% tip added to your tab up front, which you can add too if checking out using the link they text you. The special thing is they have a wall where you pick your own beer, cider and wine(?) that you activate with your wristband and are charged per ounce. I love the drink concept because it allows for folks to try a little bit of various options ... which they do have a number of local options on their wall. This is what I would return for, and bring friends to tet before we end up at another activity. Food wise: got a smash burger which came with fries, which if I order it again I'd probably change cheeses and ask for some pepper to season the fries a bit more ... all personal preferences... but was ok for something to eat to off set the two drinks I had while there. I also got some tacos to go for my husband. Again personal preference, he would have liked more seasoning/spice on the actual meat of the taco vs being as reliant on the salsa. So, on our next visit we might just stick with shareables/apps with our drinks.
