Nothing was said about refund, a discount or the quality (was mentioned they had additional calls on the same quality issue). My husband is currently sick, so I came during my lunch break to buy ingredients to make tinola. I run a clinic nearby, and I was on a time crunch. A 5 minute shopping experience turned into a 30 minute long torture session. The store itself is clean and stocked. There were some kids touching and playing with the raw fish on display. If there was self check-out, I'd be fine coming here. I waited in line as one of two cashiers counted change for a customer. Then she picked up one of my items, and immediately turned around to price check another customer, who was already being helped anyway. After a few minutes, I was shooed away to the other older cashier, who treated me like I was a piece of garbage and wouldn't even look at me. Even as I bagged my own groceries. Then I made the mistake of going to the nearby Philhouse, which added another 15 minutes of apathetic inaction to my lunch break. I'm ashamed to have given this store any money. I am actively telling all of my Filipino patients and friends to avoid this place like the plague.
