Dinner was ordered and again our dinners came out at all different times. We never complained but we knew this wasn't right. We go to pay the bill as we were out for business and they told us the system was down. Manager told us we needed to go to the ATM or stay for 20 minutes longer. Awesome Place for Happy Hour and a nice evening out in Naples. A large group of our Wine Tasters Club Members were recently Hosted by Manager Billy and his wonderful team and the Food, Drinks, Music, Atmosphere, and above all, Service were beyond our expectations. Great open air lounge with seating outside, yet a nice cool space to relax and listen to music on the inside. The menu has a variety of great appetizers to choose from with attractive Happy Hour pricing. We had the Salmon crustini appetizer and it was Outstanding. A variety of other sliders, fresh tacos, Mediterranean style dishes are also on the menu. We danced there after the music started around 7:00 PM. What a fun night! Give Cavo a try some evening! First and foremost, this low score is based on one experience (last night, 10/9/21). Five of us wanted to have an after dinner birthday drink at Cavo after having dinner downtown. The music was fun, the energy was fun and we entered blending in on the dance floor looking forward to staying a little while. The club was busy. Line to get in! We were happy and excited. The problem started when a man (extremely jacked and fit) kept bumping into one of our friends, several times. Beyond what is normal on a dance floor. Way beyond. We all know what to expect going into a Club atmosphere. I was right there watching. They had a brief exchange like "what's your problem, or what's wrong." No cussing, nothing that would be considered confrontational. Within a split second this man put my friend in a choke hold/head lock and forcefully dragged him outside and threw him down on the concrete. We followed them outside seeing our friend on the ground. It turns out that the man bumping my friend was SECURITY, and works there. Why was he perusing through our little group causing problems. This was EXCESSIVE and WRONG. A complaint has been filed with the NPD which, by the way, they said the odds of us winning, is unlikely. What kind of a comment is that. It's a discouraging comment trying to sway from filing a complaint. We are year round residents, love to go to Mercato at times for special get togethers and are not trouble makers, quite the opposite. We have had dozens of dinner parties at Cavo, celebrated New Year's Eve there, and so forth. I ask myself why wouldn't security have said to my friend, "I'm security and attempt to address the situation." I can almost assuredly say that there would have been an apology for whatever it was and that would have been it. Instead, SECURITY was totally out of line, physically aggressive and put him in a headlock and threw him down outside on the concrete. In doing so, he broke my friends watch. There is no reason for this level of VIOLENCE for a situation like this. Perhaps if there was a bar fight or something extreme where you need to haul people out. I understand there are situations that warrant such. But we were dancing. A group of 5 adults dancing. Also, 2 bystanders came forth and told the Club manager that they saw everything and that SECURITY was out of line. They told the manager the force was inexcusable. Shame on Cavo. We were there for less than 10 minutes, weren't inebriated and never got a drink. Get your security in line. Teach them to first address the situation before using excessive force. I am so thoroughly disgusted. The Manager said "I have a Club to run." Okay...go ahead and run it then and take care of your Patrons. This is a mistake on Cavo's part. If they could apologize, if they were forthcoming with any kind of decency I wouldn't be writing this. Mistakes happen. I came here while on vacation with my friend on a busy Friday night. It was packed and loud, but what a fun atmosphere! We just wanted to get some apps and drinks, so this place was perfect. Even better, they do happy hour pricing until 8, so we were able to get some super great deals! They have an awesome assortment of mules, which are my fave. I tried the "thymely" mule, which had elderflower liquor and a thyme garnish and was easily the best mule I've had in my life. For food, I got the tuna tartare, which I have never tried before. It was cut poke style and arranged on top of guacamole. They seasoned it with sesame oil and it was served with fried wonton chips. Amazing! My only issue is that I could have used a few more chips to scoop it up. I shared with my friend, and it was so so good. I also had the apple and manchego salad. It had a really flavorful dressing and some delicious roasted nuts on top, and was huge. The apples were julienned and I really enjoyed that. I will definitely come back here next time I'm in Naples. Only negative comment is that they have all waitresses wearing short black mini dresses and some of them literally stalk around looking miserable. The strutting is kind of comical. My waitress was sweet, but some of the others seemed a wee bit over the top. I felt like it was a club atmosphere with delicious food, and not really necessary. Absolutely horrible experience last night with a specific bouncer who aggressively got in my face yelling saying I was supposedly stumbling around and if I was okay although it didn't seem like he cared if I was okay rather it seemed like he was either ready to kiss or punch me with how close he was. Another employee came by and clarified it wasn't me but my friend who had too much to drink and they had taken him out. Once the bouncer realized he was wrong he continued with his big bad boy attitude rather than apologizing. This was unacceptable and disappointing of the owner to hire people like this. Went with a group of family to celebrate a birthday. One person set up the whole VIP back in January. After everyone was decently intoxicated the waitress gave me the tab, which I paid even though I didn't set it up. I was paid back by the group. That wasn't much the issue but that the waitress also gave one of the other drunk members of the group the tab that shouldn't have gone to her. They asked 3 of us for our cards. Being we didn't set it up we didn't realize that 20%+ gratuity was already included in the tab and intoxicated and with not so great lighting we added 20% tip to the checks. So our waitress got basically 50% tip by moving sneakily and us intoxicated not realizing that was already in there. We both took our tabs back to cavo to speak to Billy (have his number) who's I guess one of the managers. Explained the mistake that happened and even though he saw what transpired he said he needed to talk to his partner to see if there's any way he could help us. Even if it was giving us a few free drinks and easy entrance on the club nights. Did he reach back out, nope. Did I call him, yes. Did he pick up, no. Did he return my call or txts? Negative. They literally took advantage of our intoxicated group and instead of helping they ghosted us. So I've probably been to Cavo around 50 times since my last review and even hosted a company event there, I have to say, they really have it together!! Crystal is an amazing VIP host, server, and party planner! Specifically, I highly recommend this venue and Crystal for planning out fun events! Lately every waitress and bartender I've had has been super on top of it and service has been great. Their food is amazing (especially the octopus and the cevicheand they have top tier happy hour. In addition to the really good food and drinks, this is probably the best place to go out for some fun on a Friday or Saturday night in Naples. It's not like the night clubs in big cities, but it's the best Naples has to offer, so enjoy it! read more

Was harassed by a "bouncer" at this place and should have called the cops. Checking out Naples and came across this establishment. I paid for my drink and it's not closing time, why am I kicked out? The "bouncers" harassed me and I should have called the police. I am a young girl and one of the bouncers put his hands on me -- I immediately screamed for him not to touch me. His "posse" then surrounded me (wow ok scary) and forced me out. Mind you, I'm not belligerent at all as I'm typing this. If I were to call the cops, that "bouncer" would be in deep trouble now as he had his hands on me. I should press charges, the bouncer violated me -- touching me with no warrant. Again, they were not closed (this was before 2 AM on a Friday). One of the worst experience ever. My friend gets kicked out for NO REASON AT ALL after being there for a couple of hours. Security trying to fight the males in my group. There were folks all dolled up from a nearby wedding and lots of single people roaming the dance floor. This was such a disappointing experience. We brought some friends from NYC and from start to finish was just bad. We arrived and asked to sit inside, the hostess asked if we wanted a high top and we said no - she showed us to a high top inside and we promptly asked to sit outside. Then my husband moved his chair back a bit and the chair buckled underneath him and he fell on the floor. We stood the chair back and told our server it was broken and she moved it to another table and we had to tell her again that the chair was broken and needed removed. It was apparently broken when my husband sat on it. Thankfully, he wasn't hurt but no one showed any concern over the fact that a customer fell on the floor. We then asked our server about any Happy Hour specials and she said there weren't any. Then we noticed the fine print at the bottom of the menus and asked her again and she responded with "oh, ok"? She seem clueless. She might have been new but she was distant, not informed, slow, not trained well, etc. This was at 4:30pm on a Sunday and there were literally no other customers in the whole bar when we arrived. I had to ask a bartender to find her to get our bill. I think your staff should read "Unreasonable Hospitality" - the service and the food was so disappointing. We won't be back. read more

This is by far the shittiest club I've ever experienced. There were more fights here with bouncers and among guests within one night than I can count. Three or four people dropped their drinks on the floors instead of bringing them to the bars when they were done with them, or rather half done with them. I got a full beer tossed up my dress. Most of my experience was dancing around the clean up of glassware. The music was good, and the drinks were good. Strobe lights and atmosphere were nice.
