We are frequent flyers of The Stage for the last few years but we took a break and started going other places. We just went back Thursday night for the Doobie Bros. & Rolling Stones. Although the band was good we were appalled that the cost of the concert(s) is just that. No longer are the days when it was one price (mostly $110/ea) and most everything on the menu was included in that price, never alcohol. We were shocked when we received our bill of 357.47 cash or 369.98 if you use a cc. Then we gave a 20% tip so total for 2 people was 443.98!! Unfortunately we won't be going back, or maybe we should eat first LOL read more

Be careful. Look at your tab before paying. They tried charging me $49.95 a ticket when they were $24.95 as well as food I didn't order. When I tried to rectify this the owner tried to engage me in a fight. Seems the waiter was in cahoots. Too bad because the show was good read more

What a find! We bought tickets to see the Aerosmith, Bad Company, Foreigner show the day before the concert. Tickets were available so we bought two "preferred bar" seats and crossed our fingers. We wondered how this could be good if tickets were available the day before the show. Boy, we were wrong! Place is great! Right from the get go it was a 5 experience. Cindy, who sold us our tickets over the phone was patient and super nice. The event location is in an office park so parking is free, plentiful and close to the venue. Upon arrival we were seated immediately. Wow! The seats were amazing. Great view to the stage with menu and our names at the seats. We were quickly greeted by our server who was efficient and very nice. Then Howard, an owner stopped by to welcome us! He explained how the evening worked and then sent a complimentary appetizer to our table as a welcome. How awesome and delicious (Buffalo cauliflower). Prime rib was really tender and perfectly medium rare. I wasn't as fond of my chicken with blueberry rice. Salads are a nice addition but nothing special. Chocolate cake was rich and delicious. We bought a bottle of wine and it was reasonably priced. The show: very well done. Good music, lots of people dancing. Music started right at 7:30 and all was over at about 9:45. Easy to get back to car and we were home in a jiffy. If you see a show you might like, book it! read more

The Stage is a nice place and has good entertainment with dancing and serves dinner. The entertainment are tribute bands that are pretty good. We we're at The Stage tonight and got kicked out because we made a comment about our server that served us a bottle of wine and never came back to our table/seats to see if everything' was alright and if we needed anything. My husband walked up to the owner and our server to tell the owner that our service was substandard not knowing the server was his son. The owner must have been intoxicated and he got upset and escorted us out of the restaurant. We will be cancelling the remaining shows that we signed up to see! The owner is very unprofessional and not surprised that many seats were empty! read more

I have been to The Stage several times over the years. The show was OK Tina Turner being the best. I like to sit at bar west side for good view of stage. A new menu limiting choices. Last time there about 3 months ago had baby back ribs with salad & dessert was very good. Ordered same last night no salad or dessert offered. Ribs tasted day old & very small portion. Nice vegetable replaced with thinking frozen peas and pearl onions. Go for shows not food at this time. Bartenders not welcoming, attentive or interested in giving good service. One lady asked to have first round of drinks charged to her bill. It was on both bills. Upon getting bartenders attention he says what do you want removed? I didn't recognize any management being there. I realize slow off season but for prices charged locals should be treated better. read more

We visited The Stage to see The Bee Gees for my moms birthday, and we had a great time! A ticket was $90 and included a salad, entree, dessert and the show. It was a little pricey, but we had fun. Our waitress, Jenna, was fantastic, and the food was pretty good. I liked that they will add a protein (shrimp, chicken, steak or salmon) to the salads, pasta, and stir fry dishes free of charge. I ordered the pasta, and my mom ordered the stir fry, and while I wouldn't go there for the food alone, the dinner and a show was a fun experience! While the band took a quick break, the owner stopped by each table to check in, which was nice. Speaking of the band, they did a great job! They covered songs from The Bee Gees and The Rolling Stones, and had everyone out on the dance floor. I thought they were supposed to play from 7:30-10:30, so we were bummed when they played their last song around 9:30. We really had a good time, and will definitely go back! We went to this venue for the evening with our friends. The food was not bad. The entertainment was amazing. We are very picky about food. My spouse and I owned our own restaurant and my spouse is a chef at a country club. Prime rib was bagged prime rib, rolls were frozen, salad was ok I had to pick out bad lettuce. The wine choices were ok. The dessert was overly sweet and bought. However, it is not really about the food, but the show. The services was really good and the show was great. Don't go there for the food, go for the music. We sat at the bar and had a great view of the stage. Service was excellent but the food was mediocre. The band paid tribute to Tina Turner and KC and the Sunshine Band. The woman playing the part of Tina had a good voice and mimicked Tina's moves very well. Beware!!! The owner of this establishment directs and overseas his entire staff to overcharge every customer. This is intentional and a practice. In my case the bill should have been less then 100 and the waiter present a bill for almost twice what it was supposed to be. When I pointed out the mistake they tried to explain it away and presented two alternate bills each being reduced but still overcharging intentionally. Finally on the fourth time they corrected the bill and then the owner came over not to apologize but in hopes that no other table noticed or overheard. Terrible practice and very dishonest. We met the owners who were very kind, personable, and accommodating. The tribute band was the best one we have seen there although have never been disappointed by the others. We booked dinner and show tickets for an ABBA tribute band at the Stage about a week in advance of the show. There were 4 of us and we were celebrating a special birthday. When we arrived, they seated us at a table directly next to the front door that was meant for 2 people, not 4. There was barely enough room for drinks, much less food for 4 people and every time the door opened, we were blasted with Florida summer heat and humidity. The band was cheesy and the food was marginal. We couldn't stand it very long, so we paid the $530 check and left sortly after the sad meal. Never going back there. read more

I held my national conference in Bonita Springs. We always take a trip off-site for a change of pace. Last Wednesday, I took 220 attendees to the stage. Campbell, Howard and the entire staff provided excellent service and the food was delicious. Campbell and Howard walked to every table to make sure all was good. I found The Stage on Google and it looked fun. But, I had no idea how much of a good time we would all have. Campbell and Howard booked the Motown tribute singers for us that night. They were outstanding and sang many old favorites and my group could have danced the night away. Such a great time. The setting was cozy and compact and just perfect. I would highly recommend The Stage for your next event or night out. If I'm ever in the area, I'll definitely be back! read more

Visited The Stage for Breakfast/Brunch. Arrived at our reservation time at 2pm, and was seated late at 2:30. No problem! Was seated, waiter was helpful and pleasant - no problem there. Got up to the buffet, there was no food. I've never seen that, expect one or two empty serving dishes, but not everything. They slowly brought food. The restaurant was dark, dirty and the staff (other than our waiter) were very creepy-strange. Cleanliness is not on offer at The Stage. Visited with two friends who are in their seventies and are patrons of the Phil, where 18th & 19th C. classical music reigns. Without dispute, the Beatles are classics in 20th C. popular culture. The Stage show was to be a Beatles tribute. Unfortunately, my table guests couldn't bridge the two Centuries' fan appreciation gap. We left halfway through the performance. But since there's always good and bad to any experience. here's the breakdown: Bad: Loud is not better. We love a place to thunder, whether it's a symphony or a rock band. Unfortunately, the sound was heavy metal deafening, making the slightest word, between people even seated side by side, impossible. The faux Beatles were accompanied on stage by a keyboardist, who overwhelmed the pretend boys from Liverpool. Yes, in real life there had been a Fifth Beatle - Billy Preston - who added posterity to the Fab Four's music with his keyboards in recording sessions. But The Stage's entertainment pretty much maligned the memory and creativity of the actual Preston/Beatles collaboration. The keyboardist at The Stage was powerful, and really came into his own during a solo when the imitators left to take a break and do a costume change into tan Nehru jackets. His solo showed off his very adroit skills, but seemed at odds with the '60s theme of the evening. Entertaining,but more like what Paul Todd may do every Sunday with dual electronic keyboarding at local churches. Good: The venue is really well thought out and attractive. The stage is in a corner and raised to assure that there are no bad seats in the house. The tables are aligned so no one has his back to the stage. Pendant lighting gives out the best ambient light during performances, and a boxy area in front of the stage lets an old white crowd bob and heel/toe and hoot and holler for hours. It was obviously really nostalgic and joyful for everyone on the dance floor, and even for the ones sticking to their seats while singing along. The food is delivered to the More is Better crowd for about $45 PP, before tax, gratuity and drinks. Drinks are cheap - $6.50, but the Virgin Pina Colada was served at the same price. No loss, as the vodka came with water. Lots of water. Da. OK, put part of that comment up in the "Bad" paragraph. The prime rib is the scene stealer here. Very good. Salmon was dry, though tasty. Peas and onions came from the peas and onions can. o dear. The salad was mixed iceberg lettuce with a dash of tomato and red onion. Service was terrific. Apparently the family puts a daughter on the front door and a son in a bus boy red shirt. Everyone worked very hard and came around repeatedly to be sure all was right with the time travelling world. If you're looking for a kitschy evening on a Throwback Thursday kind of day, book here. It's a friendly, hungry, dancing, happy crowd, despite the mediocre entertainment and minor culinary sins. read more

Very disappointing Easter Brunch. Waited 20 minutes even with a reservation. Food was institutional, they ran out of several items, food warming trays were continually empty and, often there were no plates. Waiter was a ghost rarely seen for drinks. No deserts and no Easter decorations. Poor performance. We had attended another brunch there that was good. Also have attended music nights but, this was bad. The choices for food were excellent! I had the steak. It was sooo tender! Several choices to select from. The venue was perfect for the show. Tables all around and good seats. Drinks were served right away by our server, and then our orders were taken. Food came out in a timely manner. Our server was the best. He stopped by often to check on us! The show was excellent. I thought the original Temptations and 4 Tops were "in the house." It was a Show Stopper!! There were NO BAD SEATS! And even a dance floor! Went for the first time on Friday. The band was horrible. $35 to see entertainment and felt like we were watching a high school band. I can't speak to the food because we didn't eat. We ended up stopping at Jacks after and the band there was so much better than the one at stage and it was free. Needless to say we won't return. Great show and dinner. I think it's a little overpriced but the service was EXCEPTIONAL!!!. I didn't care for the stuffed pork and would recommend instead the stir fry or prime rib . We had a party of 6 and a seat near the stage with an excellent view of the stage. Liked that it was spacious but intimate and not too large of a venue and didn't feel overcrowded. What a great place for a total evening experience. Reminds me of an old time nightclub. Contrary to some revues the food was excellent. We had a party of eight and everyone loved their dinner selections. Personally I had the best Prime Rib that I've had in a long time. The price included a salad, choice of entree and dessert, which in my case was the caramel cheesecake which was to die for. Drinks and tip are extra, so figure on about $100.00 per person for a fabulous night out. The Tribute Band really delivered and got the audience involved and dancing up a storm on the spacious dance floor. Well worth a return visit. read more

At one time I made my living recording tracks, for various audio/video products and performances. If you were in attendance at The Stage Monday, January 28, 2019, you witnessed live musicians perform "instrument sync" from pre-recorded music tracks. The only thing that was truly live about the tribute performance were the vocals. Of course, fill in tracks are expected in this setting to cover for drums, horns etc., however, "tracks" to take the place of the live musicians on stage is a complete bamboozle & totally taking advantage of unsuspecting, cash paying, music lovers. I had the displeasure of watching that fake performance by a tribute band. I can cite a mountain of evidence of this trickery. Just three examples: 1. The audience could not see the piano keyboard nor his hands playing. Musicians are performers, all we saw of him was his head and upper torso move to the beat of the music. 2. Many guitar & bass riffs were not performed yet we heard them with our ears. Eric Clapton's "Layla" is reported by music experts to be nearly impossible to perform live, yet this tribute band delivered the "audio" portion perfectly, note for note, however the physical execution was sloppy and obviously phony! 3. The supposed "live" music was too perfect, to clean sounding (just like a digital track) no one, not even the original musicians play without musical note mistakes during a hour & a half set. Those in attendance witnessed a well planned fraud at The Stage in Bonita Springs! I called to talk to the manager about this music scam but he never called me back! I wasn't going to pay their exorbitant price for a meal but my friends and I did pay a ridiculous $30 cover charge. The karaoke performance we watched wasn't worth $5.00. read more

Finally a great place to hear top quality music. 4 of us went to the Beatles Tribute show. Fantastic. And you were up close and personal. Plus you could dance right in front of the stage. Food -- of course. Packages include a terrific Prime Rib which they run out of early. Sign up for the early seating - have your prime rib then watch the show which usually runs from 7:30 to almost 10 pm. Service is first class and seating is on a first come basis. Call and ask for Liz or Howard..tell them Skip the burgermaven sent you. this is the Blue martini for the mature set...and better. read more

Our group saw the Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra impersonators. They were awesome. Sang many of the oldies. They were funny and very entertaining. The food was very good and worth the price we paid. I went to The Stage this past Sunday for the new Brunch Buffet. It was ReallyGood. They had a make your Omelette Station, Chef was carving Ham and Amazing Prime Rib! Cool place inside, kind of hip, colorful lighting ( I counted 7 hanging lamps out). At $64 a plate I expected more. My husband had the Prime Rib with a horseradish cream sauce ( not very good) and I had the pork chop. It was pretty tasteless/ dry and skimped on the sauce. Did not have alcohol and our bill, plus tip ( add a shrimp cocktail) was still almost $200. Show was okay/entertaining... waiter was friendly and efficient. Will I go back?
