    branzino and potato

The food at Bicyclette Cookshop was delicious, and the service was extremely attentive and friendly. I had the branzino with the layered potato, which was so good that I wish I had ordered a double portion!!!! Great menu. The seating is comfortable, but the noise level is high. There is plenty of parking in the lot in front.

I booked a reservation to celebrate Father's day at Bicyclette and while it wasn't as packed as I thought it would be, it was great and it allowed us to stay at the restaurant longer than we anticipated. I had read so much about this place and had driven by it and so when we finally were to try this place we were not disappointed. The menu is so creative and eclectic and the drinks were divine. We tried the onion rings and omg, so delish. For fathers day they featured a prime rib benedict and that was so good, we tried a couple of other appetizers and everything was great. The service, the aesthetic, everything was great. It is on a pricier side, and my wallet is not there yet, but I would def come here more frequently if I had the opportunity.

One of my faves to dine in Naples! Incredibly unique dishes, with a fun, chill atmosphere. The front of house and wait staff arw always hip and friendly. Its a ten for me and worth the visit, if you appreciate adventure and quality food/flavors.

I can't say enough about this place! Amazing service, the food is really unique and top notch and great environment. Honestly, their octopus with papaya slaw and coconut was out of this world. I think it's one of the best octopus I've tried in Naples. I can't believe it took me a year to finally try this place. Highly recommend!

Third time we've been there .we live in Fort Lauderdale! this in a1.5 hour drive ! As is the case each time the flavors were stupendous . This time we also experienced customer service unlike we've ever had before . there was little glitch with regard to the timing . They went far and above comp'ing us .

Except for 1 food item (will discuss later), Everything was Fantastic! The atmosphere is compact, cozy without feeling cramped. Good mood lighting and noise average. The servers were beyond knowledgeable, helpful and extremely pleasant! The food was over the top delicious and perfect quantities to fill you up but not push you over the edge and no leftovers. The olive oil ice cream is WOW! *Do not order the key lime cake - dry and tasteless.

Bicyclette is an absolute gem--one of those rare places where creativity, flavor, and heart all show up on the plate. We ordered the tartare, the hamachi collar, onion soup, and the chicken liver, and every dish felt alive with innovation. The textures, the balance, the seasoning--there's a level of intention here that you usually only see in Michelin kitchens. The hamachi collar was the standout of the night: complex, tender, richly layered, and plated with a confidence that shows the chef truly understands flavor. The tartare was bright and precise, and the chicken liver was silky and deep with beautifully controlled richness. This is food made with both technique and soul. The service matched the cooking. Christina took time to talk with us, share insights, and bring an energy that made the experience feel personal and special. We even left with a bottle of the chef's own olive oil, a wonderful detail that shows how much care goes into every corner of this restaurant. What a gem. An inspired dining experience that feels Michelin-worthy in its passion, craft, and creativity. We'll absolutely be back. -Max and Monica

On our last trip to Naples, we decided on Bicyclette for our food forward dinner. Based on the yelp page, it maybe looks like there was a restaurant here with some of the same decorations but the latest Cookshop is about a year old? Anyway, we were excited to try it. We had early dinner reservations and the restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived, but it was when we left. Service was very good and attentive! Loved the plates! The drink I tried was just ok. We had the zucchini blossoms based on reviews. It's not an attractive looking dish, but it was tasty! One bite was noticeably bitter. Probably not something we'd order on repeat. We had bread & better which was solid. The style is slightly dense. Next was mortadella peppers. A winner and delicious! Entree we shared the short rib which is kind of served to eat sort of like Korean bbq. (which we love) It was fantastic. Maybe not enough lettuce included. We appreciated that the dishes were original, and modern. To some, this might be a turn off but there are a lot of old school places down there. If we lived in the area, this spot would be something we'd try often!

Wow! What an absolute delight. We ate here twice in the last two weeks and will surely become regulars. The food is delicious, the service perfection, and good vibes all round. If you don't like restaurants with dim lighting, this is not your spot - but don't worry there are plenty of people ready to take your place! A nice surprise and addition to the neighborhood!

Really creative, fun menu. Great specials. The Far From Downtown is one of the best cocktails I've had (and I've had a lot). Food was fantastic. Our group had the waygu corndog (special), squash strudel with caviar (special), mortadella Cuban, and chorizo potatoes. We had the banofee bostock for dessert. Everything was awesome. Exceptional service. Fast and attentive. One of the waiters who was waiting on another table even stopped at our table a couple times to do magic tricks for our young son which he really enjoyed. The inside of the restaurant was very cool. They also had a nice little patio where we sat since it was such a nice day out.

What a great gem of a gourmet dining experience in naples. Probably the most eclectic combination of sauces and flavors presented beautifully in a laid back atmosphere. Service was great the owner was serving our plates all the wait staff were super enthusiastic about the food and menu preparation. Definitely will return Branzino and special short rib ravioli were off the charts. Ramp pierogis were great chorizo potatoes great drinks and craft cocktails also great.

Fantastic spot that has something for every eater. We came in on a Monday night in June; very quiet. The decor is modern and inviting. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Definitely start with at least one order of "good bread & butter" - such a treat. The bread is actually crumpets. We also had the leeks with that. For our main we split the burger, the octopus, and peppers. We appreciated they cut the burger into quarters for easy sharing. Everything was delicious, it was hard to pick a favorite. Though stuffed, we couldn't pass on trying some desserts. We tried the olive oil soft serve (unique and absolutely fantastic flavor combo) and the flan, loved both. Will be back next time I'm in town the menu had too much else to try!

We arrived at 7:05 pm and were assigned only one server. By 7:40 pm, the server was still taking drink orders, so I requested the front desk to assign another server, and they did. However, what shocked us was that both servers assigned to us were new and had no idea about the menu. One of them couldn't even spell the menu items, and I had to dictate the spelling of each item. She didn't know what a flight was, and I had to explain it to her, even though it was mentioned in their bar menu. The restaurant/bar should provide proper training before hiring people. Our food order-taking was done by 8 pm. We waited for our food to arrive, only to get another surprise: the server forgot to write the table number with the food orders. So, she had to take everyone's order again at 8:05 pm. One of the ladies with us ordered a burrata salad, and it took 40 minutes to arrive because the server accidentally gave it to another party. While the food, drinks, and music were amazing, the service was horrendous. I can only say that I am never returning, nor will any of the ladies from our group.

We made reservations on Open Table, and I wanted to ensure I got my points. The computer is down.......sorry. They let us to a high top table. I do not want a high top. Took many minutes to decide which table to seat us at. We were there when they opened at 4pm and were the ONLY customers in the restaurant. When we left at 5:45pm we were STILL the only customers in the restaurant. Finally they seated us at a table. The absolute most uncomfortable chairs in the history of dining. Chairs with wooden bottoms. They explained that there was a concert this evening, and the place was booked full. OK. why not explain that on the web-site, so we could come another night. Or better yet, don't accept reservations for that evening. The noise level was horrible. Everyone of the staff scurrying around, moving tables, and chairs, setting up the speakers. Yelling, yelling, yelling, yelling. Could not hear myself think. Then, one of the owners opens a cabinet, and around 50 glasses come tumbling out, crashing to the floor and breaking. OK accidents happen. Then the performer arrived. Sorry, I do not know who he is, but the entire staff did and were very excited. They dropped everything and started taking photos with him. Then, they had to spend another 15 minutes showing each other the photos. This whole time, we are still the only customers, and we were totally ignored. The web site says happy hour is 4-6PM. The waitress tells us because of the party the happy hour is only lunch. Then, she asks a manager, and they bring a happy hour menu. We order from the regular and the happy hour menu. The one good note is that the cod fritters and the ham croquettes were excellent. The paella was soupy (I understand some folks enjoy it that way. I like mine with crispy rice) The waitress was very nice. She said she was sorry about all the confusion. We finally flagged her down and asked for the bill. She did, in fact, give us happy hour pricing. But, sorry, that does not make up for the evening. We left thinking that we would come back another day and give it a try. But, the next morning we woke up saying it was a horrible experience, and it is just not worth it. https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g34230-d33076380-r1056307800-Taberna_Ole-Fort_Myers_Florida.html#

Start off with a glass of Red Sangria. Garnished with slices of apple, orange and a good pour of Sangria, this drink gave you an instant relief of humid Florian weather! There are good wine beer selection as well. There are selections of tapas or small plates but we opted for a seafood Paella and shared an appetizer, Croquetas de Jamon Iberico. Our original was Croquetas de Pollo but our wait staff, Leo suggested ham croquetas is better than the chicken croquetas. The ham croquetas coated with Panko crumbs gave the crunchy feel and the Iberic ham with bechamel gave that savory taste. Leo scored 100%! The seafood paella come with shrimps, clams, mussels, calamari and scallops and cooked with Calasparra rice. Normally, paella is prepared with Saffron gave the traditional golden color and flavor. However, this paella is used a saffron substitute. It tasted so good that I forgot to ask the staff what they use! We rounded off the dinner with a flan with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It is a perfect ending for dinner!

A Hidden Gem in Downtown Naples -- Don't Sleep on This Place!…read more I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and the place was buzzing -- the outside patio was at full capacity. I asked for a seat at the bar, and even though space is very limited, the staff went above and beyond to find me one. That kind of effort on a packed afternoon says a lot about this team. The bartender was phenomenal -- attentive, warm, and somehow managed to make every single person at that busy bar feel like they were the only guest in the restaurant. The whole staff carried that same energy. They were also wonderfully descriptive about the daily specials and menu offerings, which made ordering a pleasure rather than a guessing game. I decided to try the crab cake, and I'm so glad I did. I grew up on the East Coast eating crab, and I've had my fair share -- I've long held that Phillips in Maryland made the gold standard. I am happy to report that Captain & Crew has dethroned them in my book. This crab cake was pure lump crab meat, not overpowered by fillers or seasoning. You could actually taste the crab. The accompaniments they served alongside it elevated the whole dish even further. Thoroughly impressed. The wine pairings were equally well-curated. I took the staff's recommendations and they absolutely nailed it. A heads-up for first-timers: parking is the one small challenge. There's no convenient lot right there, so you may need to use a parking garage and walk over. Honestly? Embrace it. If you're already in Downtown Naples, it's a beautiful stroll that perfectly sets the mood before you arrive. Captain & Crew is a true hidden gem. Many people come for the fresh seafood market, but don't overlook the restaurant side -- it's absolutely worth your time. Highly recommend.
