The only drawback is the owner never answers the phone and when he does amazing grace. This is not one time but many instances when I visit from out of town. Even caught the owner in a lie. Called from their parking lot and no answer. Walked in and asked about placing order over the phone but no one picked up. Owner said that the phone is working.. then a call comes in and he ignores.. Again, no big deal, we can pivot. Orders are in, app comes out, and waitress doesn't come back for over 40 mins. No checking in to see if we need more drinks (we did). No checking in to let us know how much longer on our food. Eventually, I got up and had to ask her how much longer on the food. She said upwards of 25 mins. Being from Chicago we are blessed by countless pizza places. Most times it's difficult to choose which place to order from. Because of that I usually find pizza outside of Chicago mostly of the ok grade. Meh. Tonight we were in town and figured we'd give it a try with relatively low expectations. We took a flyer on the cheeseburger pizza and to hedge our bets a cheese pizza. Hard to screw up a cheese pizza. Immediately after opening the box I thought wow that looks like a damn good pizza. Great crust and quality ingredients. The cheeseburger pizza, with what they call Malibu sauce was really really good. The cheese pizza has triple the cheese of a regular pizza and cooked to perfection. Honestly I would put this pizza up against some of my favorite pizza places back home. We will be back.
