I've been sick since then because of it, mentioned to the server it was warm not as cold as it normally should be and all they said was it probably just arrived, so you get your seafood hot ? The Mango Agua chiles were tasty, our server was nice, but the bar drinks took a long time to come out. I ordered a strawberry margarita and couldn't taste the alcohol at all. Have been here twice so far - once for lunch and once for dinner, both times during the week. Sat at the bar both times. Each time, service & food were great. I can't stress that enough. The atmosphere is interesting... at lunch, it was pretty quiet. Maybe 2-4 other people in there & I don't recall if there was music playing. At dinner on a Monday, they had a live musician in there. He did a great job, but it was so loud for just having maybe 8 patrons in the whole restaurant. Sitting at the bar, we were the furthest from the speakers & it was still too loud to have a conversation. Absolutely delicious Mexican style seafood!! The ceviche was fresh, aguachiles were spicy, and the molcajete El Rey is DELICIOUS (It is huge so I recommend sharing it but definitely a must). Great place to grab some beers and enjoy Mexican style mariscos. Tip: Weekend evenings they have loud live Mexican music so if you like that you'll have a great time, if not you may be miserable. To the reviewer who said they discriminate because their menu is not in English, it is. Spanish on one side, English on the other. Flip the menu dude. There was no way my tequila was a double with soda. The glass was way too small and the tequila was sparse. The food was just ok, overpriced, I am a vegetarian and was charged for 2 tostada's with beans. No beans or rice on my $14 plate. Just 2 corn tortillas with a few vegetables, chopped tomatoes and onions and guacamole. The music was so loud that our table of 7 could not even visit or hear each other. I asked and they turned it down. Then...the most horrific tuba, marching music started...live...if it wasn't so awful it would have been comical. Our waitress was ok. Not great! We will not go back. Our waiter was consistent in asking if we needed anything providing good service with a smile. The food was a bit pricey. We got there to get drinks and have music play for us, waited around 30 mins and no one attended us, so I called server over and told her no one had attended us, so she then proceeded to take our order, I didn't think of it as much until another 30 mins passed and the drinks had not been served, so I called server over again she went to go ask and she told us our order was not logged in, I proceed to just take off, the first time I went it was the same thing but the food was not that great I recommend "La botana" next door better service and food. read more

Went to Cayo Mango for lunch. It was very quiet and not many people. They bring out an fish type ceviche with chips. Absolutely fresh and tasty. My Mom and I got the shrimp tacos and they were so delicious. Service was great and friendly. I am a gringo that loves good Mexican food and this place has it. Highly recommend. The service is horrible! Everyone got their food and I waited forever to get my order of wings and by the time that happened everyone was done eating. To make things worse I got food poisoning from the food. Also, my sisters margarita had a bug in it and there was a hair in her food.
