I have been wanting to go to this place for over a year. I am sad that I waited this long. First of all this staff and their treatment was top-notch. Nicole was outstanding and so knowledgeable about every entrée on the menu. Her pride and knowledge about what this restaurant had to offer was impressive and refreshing. With a dining room serving as a full tribute to the beautiful country of Peru, the staff is so nice and you'll settle in right away! Start with the calamari, an excellent appetizer that is expertly prepared for maximum crunchiness and perfectly tender meat. Good Peruvian in the West Valley? I, too, was skeptical... and then boom, Avondale quietly delivers. This spot is cute, clean, and low key vibey without trying too hard, and the service was EXCELLENTTTT like my server understood vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian fluently and happily made me an off menu veggie moment. The chicha morada was not doing the usual sugar overload thing, which I respect, and the yucca showed up crispy and perfect like it had something to prove. They start you with sweet bread and dried corn on the house which feels like a warm hug, just note a lot of the sauces sneak in dairy so speak up if you need mods. I got the Incan Fusion Mix. The rice was really tasty. Hibachi style meat. Veggies. Hot "sauce" was delicious but more of a paste. Meat was just good. Nothing special. Meat, veggies,and rice. Ok listen, listen.. i JUST got out of this place WADDLING because I'm SO full. This is the first time I've ever tried Peruvian food and this won't be my last time at this place. First of all, the service was AMAZING. Our server was so nice. She gave us samples of some Peruvian drinks and at the end even gave us free refills to go . Everything we ate was so yummy. Yucca fries were so good with the sauces it came with & i don't like fried stuff that much because it can get oily but this wasn't oily to me! Saltado was so good too. I am a big fan of ceviche so I was excited to try the leche de Tigre. The amount of citrus made it bitter. But the dish and shrimp was fresh and was very good. When it comes to this subject, I'm like a broken record. I absolutely love Peruvian food. A lot of people haven't had it. It's highly underrated. If you fall into that camp, I highly encourage you to try Peruvian cuisine. There are a couple of options in Phoenix and the surrounding areas. I have checked out Inca Fusion Peruvian Restaurant twice. Both for dinner. They share a parking lot with several other businesses. Parking won't be a problem. Ambiance (3.5/5): Inca Fusion is a relatively casual restaurant. You won't be amazed, but you will be comfortable. There's Peruvian decor, including pictures, so that's always nice. Including the iconic Machu Picchu. On Mondays, they have live music in the evenings. This adds to the experience. There's also a small bar area with a TV. Soccer is going to be what's on it, naturally. Service (3.5/5): I have had two different waiters/waitresses on my two visits. One was A+, one was average. So luck of the draw. If the gentleman who seems like the owner is taking care of you, you're going to be in good hands. With the attentiveness you would hope for. On my first visit, I was given a card with a $5 off coupon for my next visit. I didn't receive the same deal on my second visit. Drinks (3.5/5): Inca Fusion serves alcohol, including Peru's most famous liquor: pisco. If you haven't had a Pisco Sour before, that's the most popular cocktail and it's delicious. They have some interesting cocktails on the menu, though they're a bit overpriced. If you're not having adult beverages, I highly recommend you try Chicha Morada, another Peruvian specialty. It's a juice made from purple corn, along with pineapple, apple, cinnamon, and cloves. It's refreshing and flavorful, and its purple color is pretty awesome. One of my favorite juices in the world, hands-down. Food (4/5): I've tried several dishes at Inca Fusion. On my most recent visit, I had the chicken Milanese (breaded chicken cutlet) with pesto pasta, a tomato, and several oven-roasted potatoes. Nice portion size with a big cutlet. The pasta was delicious, too. I was slurping it up with ferocity. A little Peruvian flag stabbed into one of the potatoes was a nice touch. I ate half of the chicken and took the rest home. You're also given some complimentary bread with a sweet butter of sorts to start out with, plus some delicious kernels (I'm not sure exactly what it is). The bread is meh, but you will love the kernels. If you've never been to a Peruvian restaurant before, the most popular dish (and it's a great one) is lomo saltado. Ceviche and chaufa rice are also quite popular. Overall, Peruvian food is an interesting mix of Latin and Asian cuisine. Why? Peru has a large Asian population. Which you definitely see reflected in the cooking. Try it out, you won't be disappointed! read more

Every time I'm out in Goodyear for work, I make a point to stop at this Peruvian spot and it never misses. I've been here a handful of times now, and the experience is consistently great. The owner is incredibly kind and somehow remembers me every visit, which says a lot. The service is excellent, the restaurant and restrooms are always clean, and the food is outstanding. The Pollo Saltado is a must--especially paired with their spicy green salsa. The complimentary corn seeds they bring out are so tasty I could snack on them all day. I couldn't pronounce the name but mine was made with passion flower. So delicious. They served a hot roll with honey butter and what I thought were nuts ( its a dried Peruvian corn ). This is quite a distance from our home in East Mesa but it was worth the trip. The place is nicely decorated and adding pictures of customers on trips to Peru. I will provide one during our next visit. What also adds to the experience is the low volume Peruvian music playing. The owner Luis is very friendly and very engaged with the restaurant. He also introduced me to the young lady chef who made a fabulous Lomo Saltado. The dish was well prepared and served in a generous portion. We also had a ceviche that was good but the portion was less generous. My wife had Chicha Morada (a typical purple corn drink) and I had a Peruvian beer, Cuzqueña. We tried 4 different plates, the jalapeño firecrackers, the leche de tigre, camarones al ajillo, and arroz chaufa. The food was served quickly and warm. What a pleasant surprise this was and we really enjoyed our dinner at Inca Fusion. I had the the Saltado with chicken, steak, and shrimp and it had great flavor and was filling. My wife had the Tallarin Verde with fried fish. The pesto pasta was great and the fish was spectacular. I might have this dish next time we go. The owner brought us some bread and sweet butter to start with our drinks. We both has a Pisco Sour and they were really good. I was wanting another but had to drive so I stopped at one. The flavors were fresh, some were totally new to me, but still really balanced and comforting. I appreciate how everything was presented, beautiful plates, generous portions, and everything tasted amazing. I ordered the leche de tigre mixta, and just a heads up: it's spicy. I'm used to the heat, but the chile they use is intense, in the best way, but definitely not mild. I tried both maracuya (passion fruit) and chicha morada drinks and both were delicious and refreshing. The lucuma ice cream was also a standout. I took it to go and even in this summer heat it didn't melt quickly. It had this rich, buttery flavor that reminded me of butterscotch. Definitely coming back to try more. So delicious!! I've had a little of Latin American food but not Incan/Peruvian food specifically. This was soooo delicious. From the wide variety of food to the appetizers (and omg delicious butter). Oh and the drinks! My husband and I are in love with their specialty punch and teas. I would go back again. In fact, I would go right now.
