I'm giving 5 stars even tho there's ONE major problem with this place...the playlist. The playlist is, in theory, pretty cool--all songs from famous mobster movies like Goodfellas & The Godfather. But there's only, like, 1 or 2 songs from each mob movie's soundtrack! & each song is a downer, no upbeat songs! Godfather theme, Comfortably Numb from The Departed, Layla from Goodfellas...why not add THE FULL soundtracks?? Each soundtrack has 12-13 songs so your customers/employees won't be hearing the same 5 songs every time they go in there, which is daily if they are anything like I am. You don't need to remove any songs, just add more! Add the complete soundtracks for The Godfather, Goodfellas & The Departed, then add The Sopranos soundtrack (who doesn't love the theme song??). If you're feeling adventurous, add The Director's Cut by Fantomas who do metal covers of The Godfather theme, etc. or add the soundtrack to Judgment Night for a little urban mafia action! I mean, shit, Sonic Youth & Cypress Hill do a song called I Love You, Maryjane, why the hell isn't that song on every dispensary playlist in the universe?? A specific large built female cashier has been very rude and shady on multiple occasions,…read morespecifically one time when she was "ringing me up" with my items at the cash register and I asked her a question about purchasing another item and I wasn't sure what it was called and she gave me attitude and was like ugh I don't know what you're talking about and the other worker (and actual bud tender and not just a cashier) knew and helped me and when I handed her the additional items to be rung up (me holding up the line) she gave me attitude because the item I asked for actually existed, and I still tipped her. Next time I came in, I was there for 1 specific item and she recognized me and instantly gave me shade as she asked me "what do you want". I looked down at the pre-rolls and took a moment to decide the flavor and she walked away.... so then the actual bud tender came up and noticed and helped me. HOW SHADY is THAT?!?!? When he was ringing me up she was giving me the hate eyes, like I wasn't welcome there and needed to leave. Made me feel super uncomfortable, who wants to feel that way when you're buying weed?? No thank you! I'd rather buy weed off a shady street dealer than come back and be "served" by this disrespectful cashier that doesn't know anything and has an attitude at the world. Anywhoooo other people on here seem to have complained about said worker, so here's another 0 star review for this Syndicate shop. I've never ever felt welcomed by said worker, everyone else is great. As long as she's there, I'll ALWAYS take my business to RESEDA, RDC for life. Considering this is for medicinal purposes, I would care and I assume most of the other clients would care as well. So stop by to check it out but don't listen to the workers - they are there to make money, not truly help the patients. UPDATE- I come in here quite often. The selection was on the smaller side, but they have a lot of really great brands! It definitely expensive and California taxes don't help, but that's to be expected in Malibu.
