Our gate stopped working because the people who installed the operator did a bad job. I first contacted someone else to repair and the guy came and told me he won't even fix it, with a bad attitude. He started telling me I need a new operator and the price was jaw-droppingly high! Then I got in touch with Chris from CBRO Doors. He listened to my issue on the phone and he said, "I think I can fix that." He said he can come the next day at 8:30a. And right at 8:30a I got a call and he was outside. When he looked at the operator he said it was more broken than I had told him (I didn't know how to describe it properly since I didn't know what that part is called). I asked Chris if we needed a new operator or he can fix that. He said he can weld the broken part so it wouldn't come loose again or he can order the parts and replace it. He said our operator is new and it can last a little longer. I opted for the welding. In 1.5 hours, Chris fixed it and tested the gate and adjusted the belt so our gate wouldn't slam so loud. Everything cost less than $200. I even asked him for the quote of a potential new operator and his pricing was much more fair than the other guy. I did look up the operator and Chris' pricing was fair in comparison. I really appreciate Chris' honesty, promptness, and skills. From this experience, it is clear that some businesses out there are just to scam you for the money. Chris, on the other hand, isn't like that. I definitely recommend him ! read more

The vendor I bought 2 garage doors from sent CBRO Doors to do my installation. His team does outstanding work. One of my doors is a commercial roll up. The other is a standard 2 car garage door. I wanted both to be smart Alexa compatible solutions. Although my contractor said that wasn't possible Chris Chee of CBRO Doors made it happen! His team arrived with everything they needed to install my doors & left the place spotless. They spent time programming & explaining the system so I could open both doors from my iPhone or Alexa. Everyone I interacted with was professional, highly knowledgeable & very kind. I couldn't be happier. But that's not the end of the story... My contractor insisted on having my doors installed before the garage dry wall was up. The day after my new walls were painted both doors stopped working. I contacted Chris in a panic. My heart sank when he showed me how the new dry wall pressed on the rails causing the large door to buckle under pressure when the motor tried to push it through. He also revealed the disconnected wires for the commercial roll up door on the other side of the structure. He pointed to unsecured wires dangerously hanging near tracks & door openings that made it clear amateurs sabotaged his work. My contractor obviously left me with a disaster that compromised both my new doors. Chris could have easily left saying none of this was his responsibility & walked away leaving me with 2 non functional doors. He could have told me to have the contractor fix the mess or recommended expensive repairs. Instead after investigating the situation he professionally focused on solutions without disparaging anyone's work. Since the work involved 2 completely different types of doors Chris had to evaluate & resolve complex problems. Because he's highly intelligent & super resourceful Chris politely rolled up his sleeves & corrected other people's errors without any negativity. To make things right he had to grind metal rails, attach wires, test software & much more. I watched him do the work of a framer, handyman, electrician & tech expert all in 2 hours. His fees were reasonable. The fact that he did this with a positive attitude & respectfully ended the visit by testing & confirming everything worked from my iPhone again speaks volumes about his work ethic & integrity. Chris Chee is an asset to anyone's operation. He extended my vendors customer service reach & invisibly reduced their support headaches. My garage was wrecked! Apparently a Domino's pizza guy backed into my garage and completely bowed in the front panel. Too bad my neighbor told me who the culprit was about a month after the incident. Never fixed it and a month later I had some guests stay over...forgot to tell them not to go out the garage and they opened it and jacked it up more! Then I went out of town and someone tried to crowbar their way through the broken panels! They knocked the wheels off the hinges! It was a mess. Enough was enough. I finally called up CBRO Doors and Chris stopped by, gave me an estimate and when I was ready we made an appointment and he fixed it within a few hours. Our garage door stopped working suddenly and we called another company to check it out. They suggested the entire motor was shot and estimated more than $900 to replace it. They also made some other statements that had us worried. We called Chris and he came out in less than two hours. He figured out that the door needed some adjustments and spent a good amount of time ensuring the door was properly installed and fully level. It works great now and cost less than $200 for the repair itself. We were saved from a lot of unnecessary work and now I have a go-to garage and gate installer and repair recommendation! Above and beyond! I can't recommend Chris highly enough-- he did a great job installing our garage door, in a not optimal space, kinda low overhead, but he made it work. Very competitive pricing, and he follows up and supports his work like you wish all companies would. Simply the best. I had Chris work on an electric gate to add some safety features and install gate closers on a few non-electric gate doors. He was punctual, responsive, knowledgeable, professional and very hard-working. His fees were considerably less than some other quotes I obtained and his billing was fair and honest.
