I usually book with Rebecca, she is awesome but I noticed her name wasn't on the website, where you can now book online. So I made an appointment with a certain stylist (I didn't know her, it was my first time booking with her, but people recommended her) and when I get there and they're cutting my hair, I talk to her about the people that recommended her and find out that someone else (not the stylist I booked my app with) is cutting my hair. She didn't even mention that she was replacing the stylist I originally booked with before she started my haircut. I was also charged $45 for a very simple, blunt haircut, she literally took 1/2 inch off, and I am normally charged $35 with Rebecca. I was very upset by the amount I was charge and the little effort and time she put into my haircut. read more

I went here because I didn't have another option. They left me worse then before I got my eyebrows done here. I left crying and having a panic attack because as everyone know eyebrows take a long time to grow. Lucy did not take her time doing them and instead rushed doing my eyebrows. I go to the threading place across from this place to get my eyebrows done usually but they were close for a month they are more precise and take there time perfecting the eyebrows. The service and price is unreasonable. I made an appointment to get my roots done and came early. As the stylist washed my hair, she told me she "ran out of time" because her next client was there. She informed me that she would send me home with wet hair which I knew was an incomplete service. Therefore she arranged with another hairstylist to blow dry my hair, which I believed was completing my service. I was shocked to discover that both of those stylists charged me! One charged me for the color while the other stylist charged me for the blow dry! To top it, the prices were higher than Marin and SF salons! The business has low integrity. It's a shame. read more

The receptionist was very nice and the salon was clean, but the haircut I received was terrible! Juanita did not even try to spend more than 10 minutes doing my hair and the result was exactly what you would expect from a 10-minute haircut. Sorry, but I would never recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a half decent haircut. I hope the other stylist are better, and actually put more effort into trying to do a good job. Beware of this business for important event Hair and Makeup! We made a bridal appointment for 5 women for wedding hair and 2 w makeup. We were quoted $75 for hair and $75 for makeup. The Bride was up-charged $100 over quoted price and MOG was up-charged $50 over quoted price. When we called to complain they said the Bride always pays more. I told the manager the bride had exactly the same service as her MOH and paid $100 more and the manager said "Bride always pays more"! they would not refund the difference so my only action was to leave an honest review. Also the stylist did not follow the pictures provided for MOG groom hair, she went completely rogue and did something completely different. This is not a quality salon, beware. read more

Jaunita is amazing!! I pray she never leaves!! Usually can get in the day of... she cuts my hair, which I always get great compliments on.. and washes and styles for only $25! I reccommend her to everyone and they are always pleased. She is hip and will give her opinion to help you out if you're wanting to try something new, or she won't.. Nice, small place. They are an all service hair and nails salon. They take cash, check and all major credit cards. There is a parking lot with pleanty of parking. I have never been disappointed with this place. One time I couldn't get in with Jaunita (she was on vacation) so I booked with another girl, she was just as great!! A++ read more

CC Salon There is a reason CC Beauty Salon has been around for some 15 years. An owner who is skilled, brings in quallity stylists, cares about customers and provides service and professional work at fair and reasonable prices. When I came home after 40 years my niece recommended CC's. Not sure how many men are clients but I have been getting my hair cut (not "done"!) at CC's for nearly 6 years now. Barbers are 'barbers' and its hard to find one with the perspecitve of a woman stylist. At CC's there is a culture of 'listening' to the client and working with what they want...not what the stylist thinks is best. Super friendly very sociable and totally asked for my opinion from time to time, I told her what I was going for and she did exactly that! I wanted to go short ( long A line with Balyage highlights) it was hours and hours of work but for $160 I couldn't complain! I had such great compliments from everyone! WHITE PEOPLE BEWARE!!! So I went in today to have a very simple one color put all over my head. A beauty school student with 2 weeks of hair experience can do this. It is the most simple thing in the world. You take a bowl with 1 color of dye and glop it on with a brush. And then you shampoo it out. TA DA. Done. Very clearly it says COLOR $70 on the board - underneath it, it says WEAVE $90". That " is not a typo that's what it says. So after I got my one color done I go up to the register and they say $130. Now I have never paid over $75 for an all over color at the fanciest salons in Santa Barbara and San Francisco but I don't live here and I really needed my hair done so I thought sure - I'll pay $70 even though that's crazy overpriced for a place that serves clients water in a paper Dixie cup and is basically a barber shop. But excuse the fuck out of me $130. I was the only white person in there and obviously they were being racist and thought they could over charge the guerra white girl. Um hell no. Long story short, the owner came out when I protested and she ended up charging me the $70 which was not worth it after that BS. IF YOU'RE WHITE, skip it! Also, if someone from the salon is reading this I speak Spanish. My husband is Mexican, my baby is half Mexican so you might want to watch what you say in Spanish because some white people do know what you're saying. I booked with this salon a week before my wedding. Juanita, the hairstylist, was very easy to deal with and she booked me for a trial run that Thursday. I originally chose a simple bun but she said it was too simple so I got a more complicated hairstyle. The makeup artist, Rosie, didn't speak English but Juanita translated for her. I liked the final result and I only had to pay $75 for the trial run and $95 for the real thing. They're the cheapest I've found here in Sonoma and I was happy with them. I called two hours ahead of time, got an appointment (although walk-ins are welcome) and went in to have an up do done for my company holiday party. I got to look through a picture book of current up do hairstyles to select what I had in mind, and Carolina did a fabulous job giving me an elegant french twist with just the right amount of height, lots of hold, and a beautiful strand of glitter. The stylist didn't listen to (or understand?) my husband's request and ended up cutting off way more than desired providing a very below average, standard 10 year old boy cut. I would disagree with these other Yelpers, Juanita is a nice person but her hair skills leave much to be desired! I went in based on the yelp reviews here and even went in for "consult" which was me walking in and her going no problem I can do that. Anyways, I ended up paying $115 for partial highlights which I have to pay to get redone at a diferent salon because she couldn't grasped the concept of natural highlights that don't resemble zebra stripes. $115 frickin dollars for a messed up hair job...which is more expensive than some high end salons!!!
