Come here if you want to be treated like a cog in a wheel. Never met my doctor in person. They only did telehealth. If you have symptoms after the procedure they won't see you if you're not on an active protocol. Truly felt like a paying customer in a business, not a patient. read more

Been going here for a few months now. Their urgent after hours line doesn't work, it reverts straight back to their automated voicemail system. We wait weeks to schedule an appointment with a Doctor only to be told that we have 15 minutes to ask all our questions via telehealth appointment. Our doctor is impersonal and curt. What one person mentioned on another review is true. We really do feel like a cog or a number. Have to call multiple times to send medical info over or get a call back. read more

I reached out to CCRM for a 2nd opinion and after less than 30 mins of a conversation with Dr. Styer he decided he would not take me on as a patient. Afterward I received a bill (post applying it to insurance). Instead of a complimentary 2nd opinion they charged for a full appointment and then when I tried to reach out to them about the charges they would not call me back and sent the claim to collections. Not only did they deny me as a patient but they charged me extra money to not take me on. The billing department phone number goes straight to voicemail whether you call during business hour or after business hours and you have to call alternate numbers to even reach a person. Very cookie cutter approach to fertility. I've done 6 retrievals and this was the only facility that I had to cancel after starting stim. After leaving, the following clinic gave me 100% mature eggs from my AFC. The worst part is that when my body wasn't responding early on, I had to advocate for myself to connect with the doc who I never saw or spoke to again after our initial consult. If not, they would've had me continue and get zero yield. When we (an ultrasound tech and I) noticed early on that my body wasn't responding I again had to advocate for myself and inquire if they had considered my original protocol but the doc would not consider that nor even review it. In the end, that was the exact protocol that worked for me when I left. It's really unfortunate as I wasted a good cycle with one of my highest AFC months here. Beyond a more patient-centered approach, please also consider the experience and provide tissues following transvaginal ultrasounds instead of hard hand towels. Dim lights during same ultrasounds so the fluorescent glare isn't in your eyes as you lie there. My new clinic does all of this and has the assigned doc available for at least one of the ultrasounds (but ultrasounds are always with a doc so that you can ask questions). Bloodwork was terribly painful here as well. The front office staff is highly unprofessional, gossiping loudly about patients in the waiting room, etc. If I hadn't don't this elsewhere I would have no idea that this highly invasive experience doesn't have to be so horrible. The only positive is their ultrasound tech is incredibly empathetic, smart, and kind. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Unless you want a terrible and upsetting experience. My husband and I are going here (after having three miscarriages in a row) because my OBGYN referred us. The biggest problem is with the administrative support and and general customer experience. They are very inept and unfortunately it makes my husband and me feel like we can't trust anything they say. Many couples come to them trying to find some hope after trying and trying to conceive or after losing pregnancies. It's a very difficult time for a lot of people. They should be giving couples a sense of hope and that they are having the best of care. Instead you get the sense that they are just a massive money making machine that actually doesn't care about you in the slightest. If they actually cared they'd make sure that they weren't contradicting themselves and they'd make sure you got the help you needed as soon as you could. All they've done is made us feel upset and angry. Because you are dealing with a bunch of people no one person wants to take responsibility. My husband and I have already done everything on our end so we are planning on getting our results, see what they say and definitely getting a second opinion. Wish we'd never gone here. read more

I also feel compelled to warn others of my experience: 1) if you have endometriosis, do not go here; they will waste your time to pad their pockets and not check you for it unless you demand it. Meanwhile, they will discard your embryos without telling you because they are "too poorly graded" and "not associated with success" direct quote from one of their embryologists. Apparently, this is their policy which you will only find out if you ask for your fertilization report. Meanwhile, LOTS of research shows that those poor embryos deserve a shot, as they have a 25% shot to succeed; something is better than nothing, but again trying to pad stats! For me that was 4 chances at success they took away without telling me. Unfortunately, they set up a limited liability contract so you cannot get legal damages once this happens. So beware and good luck! I am switching! read more

Current patient of CCRM, and feel compelled to warn others to choose another option if they have one. Very poor experience to date - while our doctor is very knowledgeable and competent, the administrative support and general customer experience is extremely poor - from a cumbersome app, to unreturned calls, to mistakes made in appointment scheduling, incorrect forms, delayed prescriptions, etc. Not sure if it is related to low staffing, inexperience, etc., but I've never been more frustrated with a provider. The number 1 reason why you should skip this clinic is that they force your embryos to attempt to grow for 7 days in the lab before freezing instead of 3. By then most of them will die and if they are not high enough quality for their liking, they will throw them out and not tell you. If you went to a clinic that froze embryos on day 3 you would have many more and a lot more hope. Dealing with the staff here is also mind numbing. I thought was prepared for this after reading reviews on other sites. It has been one delay after another, all created on the end of the clinic. I was given a list of items/tests I needed to complete before starting. I made appointments and got everything done within 2 weeks. After this, I had to delay another cycle because I had to have a zoom session with the doctor which they called a regroup. During that session I was told we could get started, and the clinical nurse never called me for the next cycle and I had difficulty contacting the clinic to get a response as to when we would get started. I was told by someone who called me that they were calling on behalf of the clinical nurse to tell me they didn't have room on the schedule for me and didn't know when they would. So I made an appointment for consultation elsewhere and while waiting for that in a few months, I got a call and said we could get started, but next cycle. So another cycle delayed and then I had to wait to ovulate and start estrogen pills. So then I got my injectables sent to me and was told I needed a baseline ultrasound to get started. But here is the catch, no one will schedule that. So here I have thousands of dollars in medications and no idea if I will start on this cycle. I was told I would need to be reprimed if I miss it, meaning I will have to start again with estrogen pills and miss another month or more. There have been mistakes and miscommunications that are unacceptable and have cost me thousands of dollars. The nurse insisted I pay out of pocket for my meds when I in fact have full coverage through insurance. She told me if I didn't get the meds I would miss another cycle. I finally got my prior authorization submitted after speaking to a nursing/clinic supervisor but this didn't happen until AFTER I completed my entire IVF cycle and they refused to refund my out of pocket expense for their stupidity. They try to get you to pay out of pocket for everything and I would contact my insurance to find out that services were covered and go back to them and they would backtrack. You will deal with staff but rarely your provider. Whichever doctor is there there on the day of egg retrieval is who you will see for a few seconds and then you'll have an appointment with your provider weeks later always by phone. My doctor sent me a text message to let me know that I had no embryos for my last cycle when I would have had 6-7 frozen 3 day embryos and they threw away a 5BC embryo at day 7. I was only worthy of a text message at this clinic for this bad news and the doctor would not respond to the a text back. Have you ever heard of a doctor breaking bad news by text? Be prepared. For the astronomical cost they want you to believe they perform some sort of magic when they just throw out embryos that have lower chances and only a few people will get a high grade embryo. So they claim to have higher than normal transfer rates but that is the catch. I would not recommend this place to a friend or family member, and neither will you. Find yourself a clinic that does day 3 embryo freezing and things will be much more successful and a lot less stressful. Don't convince yourself you are stuck at this clinic as I did until the final straw. I can't even tell you what finally made me switch clinics but know that this place is truly awful. It's not worth the time, frustration, pain or money. read more

What is there to say about a clinic and staff who help you through one of the most emotionally fraught and difficult experiences in your life? We were at the Boston/Chestnut Hill location for almost three years. The staff is top notch. After some disappointments we were successful, so that's what counts. It's tough to keep the faith. In fact we had literally given up hope and were simply going through the motions one last time because we had genetic material already available. And guess what. That's the one that worked. If there's one thing to keep an eye out for, it is challenges with back office integration. ...Bills (multiple) for extended cryo storage on material already used....bill for transfer fees for transfer that never occurred because nothing made it that far..... But that's got nothing to do with the medical staff....and from what I've read things like that are a challenge everywhere. A+ and fingers crossed for Jan 2022 read more

Dr. Styer and his entire team have all been so compassionate, kind and caring and worked so hard to make our dreams of having a family come true. At each and every appointment, message and phone call my voice was heard and my concerns were important and addressed. Throughout this journey Dr. Styer and his team went above and beyond and helped us to feel confident with each step and decision made. A very big difference that I experienced and greatly appreciated when going to CCRM compared to other facilities we have gone to, is that Dr. Styer was involved in every appointment we had, including consultations/discussions of our plan, ultrasounds, procedures, retrieval and transfer. The only time we didn't meet with Dr. Styer was for quick blood work only appointments. This made me much more confident that Dr. Styer really knew me and my case and that we had a greater chance of a successful outcome. The facility is easy and convenient to get to with free accessible parking. The facility and CCRM is new, up to date and clean. All of the staff is attentive, kind and helpful and treat you as if you were family or a friend. After going through 4 failed IVF cycles with one miscarriage and experiencing two other facilities in Ma and RI, CCRM and Dr. Styer helped us to get pregnant in one IVF cycle!
