When they did increase the prices they went up about $4 or so which hurt But most places doubled or more for the same amount of hay which wasn't near the quality this place sells. The 2 other large stores in town wanted up to $15 more for far less quality bales the same size. This place sells the small compressed alfalfa & Timothy. For at least the last 3 years they have had the Best hay for my very picky goats. They also carry a few various things & some higher quality items u can't find at the other stores. They often have some good deals so I usually shop the whole store. This year they had chicks. I had already picked mine up BUT I wish I would have waited. Their chicks looked much healthier, larger & stronger & they had a great selection of the best breeds. Hopefully they have them next year cuz I would buy from them. The prices were also great.

I was upset and unfamiliar with the process, which made the experience more stressful and caused some delays. To be clear, my frustration was directed at the situation and my daughter, not the facility. Despite my attitude, the staff handled everything professionally and never allowed my frustration to affect the quality of care they provided. My second experience occurred when my daughter's dog got loose. He was taken to Companion, and thankfully they posted him on their website. Because of that, we were able to locate him quickly and bring him home. Once again, the staff was professional, kind, and helpful throughout the process. My final experience was when I needed to surrender another one of my daughter's cats. During the intake process, I appreciated all the questions they asked to ensure the cat would be matched with the best possible new family. It was an emotional experience for me, and when I started crying, a staff member comforted me with a hug. Their empathy and compassion made it much easier to leave him there knowing he would be cared for. He was adopted within about a week, which made me incredibly happy. Because of these experiences, I will continue to use and support Companion's services. Every person I have met there has been wonderful. They are not only professional but also compassionate, caring, and trustworthy. Their staff consistently makes difficult situations easier, and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of their services.

The only pets there on the day of spay were other pets for surgery, which was super nice. Great communication before surgery day on procedures to follow for check-in, what to expect, and after care. The vet recommended that we instead buy an open top octagon play area instead. Upon receiving the crate, it was slightly flimsy for $800. Furthermore, there are about 5 or 6 different areas that are sharp on the inside of the crate, where the dog can accidentally cut herself. Luckily we bought the insurance protection to make returns easier (or so we were told). We started the return process (which has to be approved by impact. We then shipped it off in its original packaging to the day after receiving the shipping label with no damage. Impact received the crate within 5 days of shipping, however, their website never acknowledged that they received it, it simply said "pending". 3 weeks later, still pending. There is no phone number to call, they only communicate via email. I was told that they have 30 days to process the returns, and 10 business days after that to issue the refund. At now 40 days, the website still shows "pending", emails are a reiteration or "we still have more time", and the $23 I paid for a seamless return was clearly a hoax. I'm now having to go through my bank for a fraudulent charge/return policy. Save yourself the money and the headache.

We adore the two pups that we now have in our family and words cannot express the depth of appreciation we have for their kindness, generosity, and drive to help us succeed. They know their stuff. We have learned so much and appreciate their honest approach in "training us" to uphold the training our pups are receiving because training an animal is not like sending it off to school and hoping for the best, it's a team approach with the whole family involved. We dropped in to get a tour and immediately we received a personal tour of the entire facility. We were very impressed! They stayed a week and were very happy and bouncy when I picked them up. K9CC was very accommodating and follow all directions for food and meds. Everything had been clearly labeled by K9CC and I had also requested my babies have a bath before picking them up. Randy, their groomer is excellent! He was very sweet and loving with both my babies and they loved him right back. They looked fluffy and smelled great! I am writing this review to document my personal experience so other pet owners can make an…read moreinformed decision. My dog, Koa, was boarded at this facility on two occasions: July 3-5 and July 10-14. I cannot determine during which stay he became ill. When I picked him up on July 14, he was noticeably lethargic and not acting like himself. Later that evening, his condition declined rapidly. He became disoriented, was unable to stand to go outside, and his temperature measured 106°F. He was rushed to an emergency veterinary clinic and admitted immediately. Over the next several days, Koa's condition was described as critical. His white blood cell count was dangerously low, he continued to spike high fevers despite continuous fluids and cooling measures, and he required round-the-clock hospitalization. Multiple veterinary teams repeatedly prepared me for the possibility that he might not survive. I was told more than once that his prognosis was very guarded and that we needed to be prepared for the worst. He underwent extensive diagnostic testing, including imaging and a bone marrow biopsy, and ultimately required transfer to Washington State University's Veterinary Teaching Hospital for ICU-level and internal medicine care. He remained hospitalized for nearly a week. The drive to WSU was approximately an hour and a half each way, and I traveled whenever possible just to see him during limited visiting hours, not knowing if each visit might be my last. Despite exhaustive testing, no definitive source of illness was identified. Koa ultimately survived due to aggressive medical intervention, including prolonged steroid therapy and the advanced care provided by the critical care and internal medicine teams at Washington State University. His total medical expenses exceeded $12,000. The owner of the boarding facility was contacted on the morning of July 15 by my boyfriend to inform her of the situation and to ask whether any other dogs had been ill during that timeframe, as this information could have assisted with veterinary diagnostics. Although I am the legal owner of the dog and the individual listed on all veterinary and boarding paperwork, the facility owner never contacted me directly by phone or email. I would have expected direct communication with the registered owner during a medical emergency of this severity. To this day, she has never reached out to me personally. Koa survived, but his recovery was long and difficult. He required months of steroid therapy with significant side effects, including excessive thirst, increased urination, and loss of bladder control--none of which he had experienced previously. Initial attempts to taper him off steroids resulted in serious complications requiring further medical intervention. He ultimately required additional long-term medication and ongoing veterinary monitoring. The emotional distress of nearly losing a family member after trusting a facility to care for him is something I would not wish on anyone. Beyond the medical crisis itself, the lack of direct communication with me as the registered owner was particularly difficult. I am not making claims of legal fault or causation. I am sharing my experience. Pets are family, and facilities entrusted with their care carry a significant responsibility. I strongly encourage anyone considering boarding here to ask detailed questions about illness monitoring, emergency response procedures, and communication expectations. I sincerely hope others take the time to think carefully before entrusting their animals to this boarding facility.
