The young employee said NOT ONE WORD about their return policy!! I left the same day (i tried to return the two items), with my $37 in THEIR register, because neither could I get my $37 back, nor was I able to exchange for something else in the store. Exchange or store credit is on dog and cat food only! What a pathetic way to run a business! Especially when customers support locally to keep small businesses operating! The harness & leash were exactly as I had bought them! and we had tried & failed to make it work, or to find a fittable harness while my puppy was with me. So, the owner has failed - obviously, her young employ is not trained properly, & she lost a customer with birds, cats & dog, as well as her animal loving friends who can - and will - shop elsewhere!

When they did increase the prices they went up about $4 or so which hurt But most places doubled or more for the same amount of hay which wasn't near the quality this place sells. The 2 other large stores in town wanted up to $15 more for far less quality bales the same size. This place sells the small compressed alfalfa & Timothy. For at least the last 3 years they have had the Best hay for my very picky goats. They also carry a few various things & some higher quality items u can't find at the other stores. They often have some good deals so I usually shop the whole store. This year they had chicks. I had already picked mine up BUT I wish I would have waited. Their chicks looked much healthier, larger & stronger & they had a great selection of the best breeds. Hopefully they have them next year cuz I would buy from them. The prices were also great.

Not enough to say yes they are an awesome team and store but not enough to remark and say it is horrible. Overall, without getting into all of the details I simply would like to mention that JAKE an employee of this establishment acquires re-training. He permeates an in-subordinate attitude and doesn't take any appreciation for working with his other team members. He was very obviously irritated that he was asked to service a customer (I guess he forgot that he was at work) and decided to exhibit his pugnacious mental state on me. I was kind and remained that way despite Jake smugly getting a kick out of being an arse. It wasn't until I decided to stop smiling and remained silent that he mumbled thanks and have a good day. I was upset and unfamiliar with the process, which made the experience more stressful and caused some delays. To be clear, my frustration was directed at the situation and my daughter, not the facility. Despite my attitude, the staff handled everything professionally and never allowed my frustration to affect the quality of care they provided. My second experience occurred when my daughter's dog got loose. He was taken to Companion, and thankfully they posted him on their website. Because of that, we were able to locate him quickly and bring him home. Once again, the staff was professional, kind, and helpful throughout the process. My final experience was when I needed to surrender another one of my daughter's cats. During the intake process, I appreciated all the questions they asked to ensure the cat would be matched with the best possible new family. It was an emotional experience for me, and when I started crying, a staff member comforted me with a hug. Their empathy and compassion made it much easier to leave him there knowing he would be cared for. He was adopted within about a week, which made me incredibly happy. Because of these experiences, I will continue to use and support Companion's services. Every person I have met there has been wonderful. They are not only professional but also compassionate, caring, and trustworthy. Their staff consistently makes difficult situations easier, and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of their services.

When we realized he was gone we posted it on social media. Unfortunately, rather than return the pet someone had taken it to this shelter where they made themselves completely unavailable for 3 days so we couldn't get it back. They are almost never available with no way to get hold of them most of the time. This works to their benefit as they charge you fees each day your pet is there. So they kidnap your pet and then extort you by charging exorbitant fees to get it back. We also had to drive home as it became obvious we wouldn't be able to contact them for days and we live hours from there. They took advantage of this and called me with all kinds of threats of more fees, euthenizing our dog etc.
