I live in the neighborhood and first experienced their florals when my husband sent me a bouquet for our anniversary - 16 roses that were delivered on 3/19 are still bloomed and gorgeous on 3/28!! When I needed florals for a baby shower I was hosting, I wanted to give them my business and I'm so glad I did. Catherine and team are AMAZING!! They were able to pull off 7 arrangements without 3 days notice for a baby shower at my home - not only did she consult with me regarding price and vision, the execution and delivery was FLAWLESS! Everyone at the party commented on how beautiful the flowers were and they really were the special touch I needed for the party. Not only is the pricing reasonable, but Catherine let me bring in my own vases for the arrangements to save money, which allowed for a bonus arrangement within my budget. The shop is very cute with all sorts of vase options, candles and decor items. Forget the big box floral guys - shop local with CDdesigns and you will not be disappointed. This is a review about flowers and events the gift shop which shares a space with the florist. They called it a "botanical crystal boutique" on the card. So this place is not just a flower shop it has a whole world inside full of interesting things... I came in need of someone to wrap some presents for my son's birthday and they did an excellent job. Also when I broke a necklace I didn't know where to go and I thought of these ladies first... They were able to fix my necklace in a couple hours. I saw them making flowers and I would say they were definitely first class arrangements. Lots of cool sparkly things to look at, and things to make you feel nostalgic if you had a crafty mom like mine. read more

I am not from the local area but was in need of sending last minute flowers to the Plano area. I placed my order after hours on a Tuesday evening and they were delivered by midday Wednesday. I can't say enough about the delivery person, Loren. I was not able to provide a phone number to the delivery address so she contacted me directly prior to delivery. I knew no one would be home at that time, and given the Dallas heat, we coordinated a delivery later in the day. On the next attempt, even though no one answered the door, I assured Loren it was ok to leave on the front porch. She did so and even sent me a picture. I had CD Designs do florals for my wedding on 11/20/21. What can I even say about Catherine with CD Designs except WOW. She and her team are the ONLY florists I would trust from now on. During our first consultation she put me and my husband at ease by listening and completely running with our vision AND budget. We met with a lot of florists--like A LOT-- some even with hundreds of 5 star reviews and big clout. Some were snobby, some overpriced, some nice but lacked the vision-- Not Catherine. This lady outshines them all and makes literal magic happen. Now I know what you're probably thinking--"real flowers, in THIS economy?!" and the answer is YES, if anyone can bring your dreams to life it's Catherine and her team. During our consult I frequently was vaguely describing a floral or greenery and making wild charade motions with my hands and Catherine would just casually be like "oh you mean the (insert scientific name here)?"...and then proceed to show me a picture of the exact obscure floral I was failing to describe. That right there ladies and gentleman is proof this woman is a forest fairy with actual super powers. Now, approaching the day I felt pretty confident that Catherine and her team were going to do well; thus far they had communicated well, assured us the budget was good, added last minute corsages, gotten us the velvet ribbons and pillars that weren't even an option in their inventory, and more. What actually happened on the day was just indescribable. Upon seeing the florals I was instantly crying from how beautiful they were. Better than my wildest dreams. For our head table garland Catherine knew I wanted a ton of lush flowers, but that I was trying to save money, so we agreed a moderate amount that would still be beautiful...on the actual day that garland was so packed with garden roses, ranunculus, and other high petal count flowers, I couldn't even believe what I was seeing. I have no idea how she got her hands on that many gorgeous blooms during the pandemic, kept us right on budget, and not a single brown petal in sight.
