I'm shocked at how bad my experience was at Ceasar's. Called and shared it was an older truck that needed some love and was told $220 for full detail - seemed pricey but I assumed they must be worth it since so many nice cars when I drive by. Took three days to get appointment because he said he had "so many member cars" - so I dropped it off at Friday AM and they voluntarily told me repeatedly it would be ready that day. By end of day - no call - so I rang and asked the status. Said he'd finish it in the AM and sorry he had not called but that again he had "so many members" drop off that he had to push me off. No prob - I'm patient and it's a second car. Now here comes the good part: I show up and was told it's is $240 not $220 as quoted - because "it's a truck". Ok, I thought - I'll just roll with it because I knew it was older and needed the extra love and I'm just not someone to short change a hard job. As I start walking through the job and notice the smudges of sticky stuff I specifically asked to get off are still there. She goes back to get a rag and must have rolled her eyes at the boss/owner who was cleaning another car. He says to her (presuming I can't hear?) "it's an old truck, it's not going to be a new car!". I obviously hear and try as kindly as possible to say - "I understand it's an old truck and I'm not expecting perfection, but I just paid $240 to detail it and the sticky stuff is 3 days old and should come off". His response - "I'm just telling her to do her best and that it might not come off. Don't get fussy!" WTF - did the owner of a detail business that charges a premium just tell a woman to not get "fussy"....about removable spots on a car that is being detailed?!?! Why, YES, he did. The young woman gets a rag and puts some modest elbow grease on it and, voila, sticky stuff comes of....with water. No big deal. So then I point out that the truck bed is still dirty (see picture) and I'm told "we don't really do truck beds so we did the best we can". I'm confused...didn't I just pay $20 more than quoted because "it's a truck"?! So apparently you pay for being a truck but don't deserve an even modestly cleaned TRUCK bed?! I thought about complaining further but with the complete lack of attention to "detail", condescending owner, and ridiculously low quality of work for the price - I decided I'll just leave and never go there again....and make sure my neighbors know about the experience! Trust me - I could have gotten myself very worked up about this. I thought about driving back to demand a better job, but something tells me it wouldn't make a damn difference. The owner acts like he's got a cornered market in Tarrytown and the plethora of "member with nice cars that keep him from servicing ordinary people like me who just get in the way. Guess he doesn't realize I've lived here for 20 years and our other cars are BMW and a Range Rover - that we will be getting washed at FinishLine in WestLake because they charge less, deliver more, and show basic courtesy to their customers! read more

I'm reading the other reviews, and, yes, I agree that it is a little hard to get in if you aren't a member. You have to text Ceasar himself. It took a couple of days, and I even dropped by to get his number, but once I did get in, I got a full detail, and my old car looks spotless, beautiful, and shiny shiny shiny! I love it. I'm tempted to become a member -- they clean your car every two weeks and you get priority over lazy one-offs like me -- but I had to look deep into my heart and decide: hey, am I the kind of snappy person who takes their car in to be cleaned every two weeks? or am I the kind of loser who waits eight months until the sap and dirt and crud is thick and the inside smells old coffee? Well, I have dreams of being a better person, but let's face it, who wants to spend their time dropping off their every two weeks? I have bigger dreams. read more

I have no idea how to even begin this, but my experience here was truly bizarre and disappointing. In a few words: unprofessional, not impressed, and sketchy. I had been to the previous location closer to downtown before it got shut down when I was in a pinch. It was raining, my car was dirty, and I'm a professional driver and needed it to be spotless. They were the only shop open and took me in right away and were so helpful, professional, and friendly to me while I waited for my car to get detailed. This location however has been nothing short of a very confusing ordeal. First of all - $200 for a full detail without any explanation seemed a little off. I didn't find this out until I was already on location. When I called to schedule an appointment the man I spoke to on the phone seemed pretty grumpy and unprofessional and didn't want me to come in that day so they could close early but anytime the next day was fine. Once there they eventually obliged and provided the cleaning service needed, which was very kind and accommodating though not very good. It still smelled in there. On top of all that, an iPhone was stolen and never recovered at exactly that location (I tracked it down via iTunes), I got a weird text and call from "Caesar" the next day and when I called to ask if this was the Caesar from the auto place he confirmed then wanted to know if I was coming in, in which I informed him that I didn't understand, and then he got rude and huffy. He later said that he just saved two numbers and just picked one hoping it was the right customer. However, it was not. read more

These guys work fast and do a great job. The exterior wash/wax was perfect, car looked new. I knock a star as upon close inspection the interior detail was not the best I've seen, still some obvious dirty areas in various nooks and crannies. Overall its a good job, but for their most expensive detail service, I expect the detail to be flawless. Would definitely go back though. read more

I went to the location on W 5th street. They made my car look brand new. For some reason they didn't clean the rubber floor mats, but I was surprised at the engine detail, and how truly new my old 2004 Tacoma looks. It looked horrible before I brought it in by the way, dusty, had not been waxed in years, basically looked like a used up piece of crap that was embarrassing. I called Caesar's to schedule an appointment to get my car detailed. He was very nice on the phone and gave me all the info I needed. I told him that I work across the street so I would just drop the car off and walk over to work and come back and pick it up between 2 and 3. Ceasar was so nice and accomodating and when I mentioned that my tire light was on he was more than happy to have the guys at Tarrytown Texaco take care of it for me. I was already floored with the service at that point. As I was eating my lunch at around 1:30, someone came back to tell me that someone was there to drop my car off. They were so kind to do this without me even asking. The car looked so beautiful, it was practically showroom clean. They didn't miss a single detail. The guy who dropped my car off, Kenneth, even called me to confirm that the tire pressure had been taken care of and to let me know that I had overpaid them and he would be running back over to give me the difference. I had to explain to him that it was a tip and to please not return it. I was wowed from the first moment I called them to set the appointment and they didn't let me down. I don't anticipate having to get my car detailed on a regular basis, but whenever I do, I will always go back to Ceasar as well as recommend them to anyone that asks. read more

I used the valet service, so my car was picked up and delivered back to me. The attendant arrived early and was to have my car back in 2 1/2 hours. He brought my car back in about an hour. Not a good sign when I was able to spot major dirt (mud) around the trunk, and a few dirt spots on the hood. He cleaned some of it, along with some other spots on the car that had been missed. The interior was clean but all the windows had smudges around the edges, some of which he removed. The carpet still had some spots which I later removed myself. The beverage holder had an oily residue and when I wiped it out, there was a filthy residue on the cloth. It looked as though it was spritzed and not wiped out. Apparently, they ran it through, but did not check to make sure it was thoroughly cleaned. So my car was okay clean, but with poor attention to detail. The attendant had a bad attitude and seemed annoyed that I asked him to attend to the omissions. For the cost I assumed I would not have to finish the job myself. I will not be returning. read more
