When I checked my car later there was still sticky stuff on the radio screen, half eaten donut in the back seat, under the passenger seat had not been vacuumed, stains on the back of the front seats, and so much more. I called him back and took pictures and he told me my car looked like trash when I brought it in, of course it does, that is why I am paying $120 just for the inside to be clean. He set up two appointments to come fix what hadn't been done and bailed on both of them, no text or call. Matter of fact when I tried reaching out he didn't answer my text or calls. If you want horrible customer service that only cares about your money, this is the place for you. As to your comment: here are pictures proving otherwise on me cancelling and you showing up late. I made an appointment using the online service on their website. I work from home but I have a busy schedule. I made my appointment for 11am - Monday. I had my car outside so that it would be ready to get cleaned. However, 11am came and went - I made my hubby call and find out if they were still coming to service my car. They were running late. I would have appreciated it more if I got a courtesy call prior to my appointment to let me know the status. My car has been cleaned thoroughly and he did a very good job. This company is top notch! Let me explain: I found out recently that I was going to have to trade in my car. It's a long story. I scheduled an appraisal at a dealership but was forgetting one small detail. My car needed to be detailed! It was filthy. My 80lb doberman, moving, and iced coffee spills are just a few of the things causing a huge stench in my car. So I searched and found this small mobile company, hoping for a good price and a decent job. When I contacted Nice Detail I explained my situation and was given a great quote! I thought, this is too good of a price for 1. Not having to drive anywhere since they are mobile. 2. This is water-less? How is that even possible? AND 3. How DIRTY my car was. I have a very bad experience with Nice Detailing. On two occasions, I booked an appointment with them but nobody turned up. On the first occasion, I had to make a booking over the phone, since their site was down. But neither a confirmation was sent, nor a message stating they are cancelling my booking. The next day, once their site was up, I made another appointment, this time I received a confirmation for the appointment, but no one showed up again. This was a disappointing experience as I have already bought a voucher from Groupon and am unable to receive the services I have paid for due to the unprofessionalism shown by this company. Well, I will be honest... you don't always know what you are going to get with a Living Social Voucher. I purchased a basic detail package ($50 for a mid size SUV) and wanted to check out their professionalism BEFORE I dropped $200 on the "make your car look new" package. I would have given them 5 stars if they had not "forgot" my appointment. I AM giving them 4 stars because they made it RIGHT and they did a good job on my car (THE NEXT day I might add!). And, now, after they left, I am wondering HOW they got my dirty tires CLEAN in my driveway, without leaving a mess?! What a great service- they COME TO YOU -- AND- you can schedule ONLINE (LOVE IT!). Note: My review is purely based on the customer service that I received (or more appropriately, did not receive). I contacted Nice detailing via the "Contact us" form on their website to setup an appointment in February before my Groupon expired. After nearly a week without a response I called them. I was told that I could request a specific appointment time on their website and that my Groupon would be honored. Fair enough. Since my Groupon was set to expire at the end of February, I opted to book an appointment for a weekday morning - Tuesday, February 26. I rearranged my schedule to make sure that I could work from home that morning. The appointment time of 9AM came and went with no contact from the business. I finally called after 10:30AM and was greeted with a number of reasons as to why he hadn't shown up (including having issues with his kid's day care). I understand that things come up, but any business worth its salt should proactively reach out to its customer when things happen. He apologizde and we agreed to reschedule to Saturday morning. He agreed to honor the Groupon even though it would have expired at that point since the issue was on his end. I asked for the earliest appointment on Saturday possible - he said he would commit to being there by 9AM but "should arrive as early as 8:45AM" that day. I stayed at home Saturday morning. Once again, no one showed. I called about an hour later and no one answered. I texted the number that had sent me my appointment reminder and received no response. I called again shortly thereafter and after one ring it went to voicemail - I suspect that means he was screening my call. I left a voicemail clearly stating my disappointment: For the second time in under a week, Nice Detailing had committed to be there by 9AM, I cleared my calendar to make things work, and the business didn't come through nor communicate with me. To this day I have not been contacted with an explanation and apology. I'm amazed at the number of positive Yelp reviews. Maybe I caught Nice Detailing on a bad week, but I have learned my lesson. Nice Detailing will never see my business. I would recommend that you avoid them as well. read more

I will give an optimistic rating since I don't have much comparison to go off of but I would expect a quad cab truck detail to take 3 or 4 hours and expect to pay $20 - $25 per hour rather received a detail in less than 2hrs paying twice the hourly rate. Perhaps this is the standard rate and I should look in to starting something up as well. They did a spectacular job. It was far better than I would have ever expected (or thought possible) for a mobile detailing service. This isn't a rag-tag operation at all; they used a serious power washer and a industrial vacuum and made my car look brand new. Watch out for these guys - they are cheats, unless you pay the full amount they won't service your car. I thought mine was a unique no-show experience, where no one showed up to service my car and no responses to email/phone calls subsequently. This is because I paid $20 for a LivingSocial coupon which cost $30 normally. Then I read 2 other identical situation reviews. This makes me believe that they are choosing to ignore people buying the discounted rates and pretending that they did service your car. The audacity of it all - on top of all this - asking for a review! We got a dump truck detailed (ran us $200). Main reason we wanted detailing was for rims. No chrome polish was brought and rims don't look much better. Asked Chauncy to go back over the rims (after we paid) because they didn't look like they had even been wiped down. He said it was just our rims that are scratched up, but there was still film on there and he would fix it. Wasn't much of a difference and he left without us inspecting it again.
