If there was a lower star count, I'd use it. This place can keep there light on for someone else. Just rude from the start. We had an issue and the manager came to talk to us IN HIS UNDERWEAR! I've traveled for almost 30 years... never.. ever. The toilet was moldy from the start. We needed ice because well were traveling and hotels have ice machines. This place doesn't allow you to use the ice or you'll be fined $5. WHAT?! The beds and the sheets were horrible. The shower didn't work right. Horrible! Find another place to stay get a tent and stay in the field.... you'll feel better in the morning

We checked in here at about 11:30 after a long drive on our way home expecting to have a comfortable night rest after spending 2 weeks camping and 8 hours driving... found hairs under the covers and anyone wanna fill me in on what's going on here? (View attached image)

Note left by manager stating that this isn't a kennel. I was told I could bring a 3rd dog for a fee and that's what I did.

We travel with 3 dogs so I called the motel to ask their pet policy. I was told that they allow 2 pets but could bring 3 for a $15 fee. I booked the room, checked in, went through the lobby several times with all 3 dogs without any issues until the following day. We took our dogs out before check out and shortly after our return the manager had a note slipped under our door stating they were pet friendly, not a kennel. I went to ask him why her was so rude. I explained that I called and was told that I could bring my 3 dogs for a fee. He told me they have a 2 pet minimum, but you could have a third for a fee. Hello...I already agreed to pay the fee. He informed me that people sneak pets in. Well that wasn't me. My dogs walked in and out on their leashes, no sneaking here. This manager needs some serious customer service training. They had an unpleasant note on the elevator and ice machine. They are not people friendly at all. After leaving I went in and read several complaints about this man. I'm not really sure why he is still employed there. My suggestion is to make a policy and stick with it. 2 dog minimum or 2 dog with an extra fee for the 3rd dog.

I stay at motel 6s all across the west coast due to their awesome pet policy. I 100% understand that this is a budget motel and not a luxury hotel but I've never had a room as yucky feeling and with as thin of walls as this place. I actually went to Walmart around the corner and bought Lysol to spray down the bed and all fixtures. There was an outline of a cup or something like it (sticky) on the night stand and I didn't shower because the shower floor looked gross (no pics of it sorry!). The sink didn't have a stop in it at all so I was very cautious about using the bathroom counter and looking down it while brushing my teeth made my stomach sick. We had a room right near the side entrance as the check in lady only offered me 2 options of rooms when she found out I had my pup. So I took he first level for easy access to take him out for walks. My mistake, hearing everyone go in and out of this door all night sucked. The pipes in the wall were super loud as well. Bed was basically springs with some cotton and a plastic protective cover that made so much noise anytime I moved. The pillows had only 1 case and the actual pillows were discolored yellow with blotches. PROS: because I hate to bash the place completely... nice office staff at check in, very well lit area for walking my dog, cheap.

Bed #1 when we opened the door.

Let me preface this review with the following: my standard for hotels is relatively low. When my wife and I are road tripping all we want is a cheap place to stay with clean sheets and a clean bathroom at a reasonable rate. Clean, no frills, that's it. I made reservations in advance and when my wife and I checked in at 11:30 pm after being on the road all day, we found our room had not been cleaned from the previous guest. Without going into too much detail, the toilet was still stained and the sheets were in disarray. Sort of annoying, but we figured they'd just give us another room. No biggie. We called the front desk and were told that our room couldn't be cleaned in a timely manner and that there were no other rooms available in the hotel. The clerk seemed completely mystified as to what to do. Again, this was at 1130 at night after making reservations in advance. When we asked the front desk manager if she could help us find another place in the area for the night, she said no she couldn't. Additionally, they wouldn't refund our money on the spot, we had to follow-up with the manager the next day (while on our vacation) in order for that to happen. Because all hotels in the area were booked for the night (we spent about 20 mins calling around) the only place that was available was more than double what we would have paid staying at the Motel 6. We got the very last room of all the other hotels in the area, so we didn't have any other choice. I gave the manager a chance to rectify the situation, he didn't. At the very least, I hoped he would reimburse us so the hotel we stayed at was the same price out of pocket for us as the Motel 6 would have been. In fact, he had the audacity to accuse me via email of "blackmailing" him if I posted a negative review of his establishment. Sorry buddy, that's not blackmail. That's my right as a consumer. We've attached pictures of the hotel room. If Maulik, the manager, does respond it should be noted that we have an email thread documenting all of this and his lack of couth. I've refrained from posting the email thread, but if he decides to fudge the facts, I'd be more than happy to post it in its entirety. If there is a positive side, check in was easy and streamlined. After that, all terrible.

We booked here thinking "Plus" meant a little extra something. Turns out the "plus" might just mean "plus walking a few more steps to breakfast." The room itself? Totally fine. Clean, standard Best Western experience. No issues there. But the complimentary breakfast... yikes. We've stayed at plenty of Best Westerns and similar places across the country, and this one easily lands near the bottom of the list. The food was bland, barely warm, and the "options" felt like they were just going through the motions. We were there for three days -- by day three, I seriously considered just eating the plastic cutlery instead. Front desk staff? They weren't rude, but let's just say they met the minimum requirements of employment. If there was an Olympic event for "professional neutrality," these folks would medal. Also worth noting: there's a little decorative bell in the courtyard -- which small children somehow sense from miles away. If you're planning on an afternoon nap, forget it. That bell gets rung like it's the final round of a prize fight. Repeatedly. With joy. By children. Every. Single. Day. All in all, not the worst stay ever -- but not sure I'd rush back without checking a few other options first. If the "Plus" meant anything, I must've slept through it... right around the time the kids rang the bell for the 87th time.

The other women who was messing with keycard folders, finally acknowledged that her lobby was full. I said checking in, she nervously said they had no rooms cleaned and the other women stood up, very pissed off. Looked at her co-worker, as if we weren't standing there and said in a very nasty voice, "they will have to wait until 3 for check in. We have no clean rooms." To which I replied, "I have worked in the hotel industry, there is no way, there isn't a room available, 10 minutes before check in time. You aren't going to turn over 200 rooms in the next 10 minutes, have you not been cleaning them all morning?" She completely waived me off and said, "3:00pm is check in." So at 2:58pm magically they had a room for us to check into. There were pubic hairs all over the bathroom sink and the bath tub. Gross. I let the water take them down the drain. A bag of garbage sat at the top of the stairs for an entire day, not even closed up. Literally in the path of the stairs, fire hazard. My husband reminded the front desk that it was up there at 7pm still. She sighed and said she would get to it. There is NO hot water, no matter what time of day or night you shower. Luke warm at best. Day four and the stairs have not been vacuumed once, since being here. At breakfast, I was pushed to the side by a breakfast attendant twice, so she could grab her rags, as I was reaching for items. We needed a roll away bed for our last night here and requested the bed on day 2 of our stay and we were told that they don't reserve beds, they are first come, first serve. I was instructed to come down first thing in the morning the day I needed the bed. 730am I went down to the front desk to do so. While I waited my turn, I listened to another guest conplain about her stay and watched her show pictures of all the bugs in her room and the hotel tub. The front desk attendant said and I quote, "You didn't have to stay here, you could have checked out immediately and been given a full refund." The hotel guest then said, "There were no other rooms." To which she got a reply, "Look, I wasn't here last night, so I don't know what happened." And she kept looking down at her computer screen, while the customer continued to tell her about her experience. She couldnt even give her the respect of eye contact while speaking to her and acknowledging her frustrations. Basically taking no accountability for the company she works for. I step up to the desk to request my roll away to which I am told, "We have none that have been turned in, come back at 3pm, when it is check in." Seems like there are no processes in place to know when beds are turned in. My husband check again, upon our return from lunch and shopping and he was told they dont have any beds yet and check back later tonight. She put our room on a list of requested rooms that needed a rollaway. I grabbed my book and sat in the chairs on the second floor and waited for house keeping to be done cleaning the rooms. It was about 230pm. I asked him. "Hey, do you happen to have any rollaway beds in that storage closet? We have been waiting all day to have one delivered." He opened up the storage closet and sure enough there were two rollaway beds just sitting in there. Ridiculous that the front desk either doesnt know they are available or too lazy to check the closet. I guarantee they will never call us or bring a roll away to our room today. The 3pm shift arrived for work and I proceed to hear about how pissed off the front desk clerk was having to listen to everyone complain about the rooms. And the lady that showed up to work, asically agreed. The male bousekeeper who works on the second floor asked a housekeeping lead if she had checked out his rooms, so he could put his cart away and go home. She said, just go, no need. The male housekeeper was trying to follow protocal. I am disgusted by the attitude of every single person that works in this hotel, except for the male house keeper that works the 2nd floor. I am now sitting in the room itching everywhere; the thought of bugs in this place eww. I have personally not seen one in my room, but if there are bugs in one room, there are bugs in all the rooms. Eeek. I needed a new room key. As I had lost my key. The front desk made me new room keys, asked for my name, but never my photo ID to prove who I was. So basically anyone has access to your room, if they know your room number and your name. That is such a security/safety breach!!!! Never ever would that be acceptable at another hotel. I called and left a message for Corporate to call me back and not one word from them.
